  1. Generations is not canon, but is heavily based on the games, as seen with Silver's tandrum coming from the Celebi special event. I was asking why they didn't actively support the theory that the beasts were the eeveelutions. Nobody can take Generations as reliable source of in-game canon material.
  2. Now that we return to the city, it would be interesting to see powerful trainers aid in its reconstruction. The people in the Grand Hall are affected as much as everyone so they should be helping Adrienn at the very least. So , if while we're discovering the refurbished areas in Jasper, Apophyll or Tanzan we could battle those people and some even award us rare items for our service, that would be great.
  3. Let me stop you there because you took the train a bit far. I believe pokemon feed off of each other, however not every pokemon interaction is a dietary one, or results in one-sided carnage. The situation with Bulbasaur could be symbiotic. In the anime we are shown a Heracross feeding from the bulb, and the Bulbasaur showing discomfort. However that does not mean the Heracross was eating the Bulba in front of its trainer, no matter how metal that would be. Similar to how bees in the real world help plants procreate through epiconiasis, the Heracross could be doing the same, whilst providing a nutritious meal for itself. Same could go with Cherubi and Staraptor. As for Chansey, eggs are animal period, not necessarily babies. So if an un-fertilized Chansey egg is produced, it can be sold and eaten. Yes, in a different situation the egg could be fertilized and the world would suffer from yet another pink fat blob, so there is some sort of non-vegetarian meal there. It does not initiate a prey-predator link however, which means that it could be in a way also symbiotic, as excess eggs can be used to feed the general population. Now, Vanillite and sons. Supposedly the pokemon has nothing to do with Ice-cream and simply is a cone of ice that's come alive. It's developed in high peaks of mountains and is camouflaging itself as a stalactite. Simply when people discovered it, they had already been eating ice cream, saw the resemblance and decided to name it accordingly. Nothing weird there, except you might be eating soggy meat flavored ice cream. I won't judge. As far as A-Rattata are concerned, they did not decide to go nocturnal. That's not how evolution works. What's more logical is that the species already was nocturnal (given Kanto did not have day-night cycles) or at least parts of the general Rattata population were. This means that in the latter case, Rattata and A-Rattata prefer to move around different times in a day, whilst still belonging to the same species, due to their being simply different subcategories of the same species, similar to how "races" would work in the pokemon world. With the introduction of mangustas (Yungoose), the diurnal population diminished while the nocturnal one thrived. Given it was already overpopulating, it managed to recover the losses and increase in numbers once again.
  4. As ICSW said, it's more likely she isn't hiding anyone, just the code or title of the relationship values. Also the table shows the max and the min values. Some of your choices may produce only positive or only negative marks for each character you see with unequal distribution. An example to that may be Titania who would love it if you gave her an Ice Cream Sand Witch, but wouldn't exactly hold a grudge if you didn't have one on you at the time. This also means that some choices may matter more than others (positive +1, negative -3, doing something negative during battle -1). Tracing what choice improves which relationship may be a little tricky, as we've discussed in the past, because remote choices like saving a certain Nidorina may improve your relationship with Cain, or burning a certain field may reduce your points with an orphan or two.

  6. Why isn't sign language common for all spoken languages?

What do you mean? Most places have non-verbal gestures that don't mean the same thing. So a non-verbal language would naturally develop differently for every place/spoken language.

Sign language developed in the 17th century as extension of the spoken language. It differs from regular hand gestures people employ for emphasis, and does not follow the usual grammar rules of the spoken language. Therefore, I see no reason why the same sign language is not taught in every country. It helps communication when people travel abroad, and does not hurt the verbal language in any way.

  7. If you love a boomerang, let it go.

  8. Pretty much everyone can catch a Tauros in Route1 so if you don't want to mess with your Scrafty's moveset, go find yourself a friendly bull and ride it.
  9. Instead of replacing the regular pokeballs, it could replace the corrupted one. Some extra dialogue speaking of a prototype pokeball could also work.

  11. I guess Looker just didn't expect Silver to be capable of challenging the league. As for Ep.6 I enjoyed how they presented the lore, but I always thought the unnamed pokemon were Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon so seeing the silouettes of regular dogs felt weird.
  12. The YouTube comment section is so extreme. There are those willing to conduct a mature discussion and help understand things that may baffle you, and then there are those whose insulting comments are either not logically consistent or aim purely to make you feel bad, simultaneously avoiding to answer properly to your questions or arguments. I understand that recreational videos aim to please everyone, so this contrast of behaviors is to be expected. I cannot however accept it when this goes o...

Second Verse, same as the first. Best thing to do with people like that is simply ignoring them or thinking to yourself how beautiful their bodies would look right in front of a running Airplane turbin.

I read your reply after I finished my (now 4 comment) rant :)

I'm just shocked by the amount of BS I can find under a single video.

  13. Um... Silver's here Also, I called this.
  14. There are still going to be some Grimer left. It's not like we exterminated them. We might have just pushed them more towards where the factories were, but we'll still meet them every now and then, possibly also while surfing. Tentacool however, is still nowhere to be seen.
  15. They didn't want to burn PP and none of them had a SR pokemon. The endless battle clause should include no PP usage for 10 turns. Otherwise, assholes like ABR who have all time in the world to play will exploit every rule.
  16. I've seen people cheat before, but nothing liek dis. 1573
