  1. I think this might be in the wrong section? And with that said, I would start with an easier game instead of Reborn
  2. Or, let Flygon keep its ground typing and make Yanmega part dragon
  3. Here's a little fun fact: in ep 3 of Arc-V, Sawatari tosses a bunch of cards to Yuya as "trade fodder" for the Pendulum cards he took. Among those were: Hungry Burger, Block Spider and The Siz Samurai - Nariza.

  4. Grass: 20 Steel: 12 Ground: 11 Ice: 18 Ghost: 19 Dark: 7 Bug: 20 Poison: 12 Hurt Ghost Heal Bug
  5. there's also https://www.yugiohcardmaker.net/. which allows for everything but Links and Pendulum cards so you can make things like this: Or this:

  7. I gotta give a shout-out to my favorite Trishula engine: Genex. All jokes aside, I know how bad the archetype is, but I can't help but love it. You can at least see that each of the three tries they were going for a bit of a theme and that some of those themes did have potential but generally lacked in support (in the words of Rank10YGO about pretty much every Archetype he reviews: Just give them a field spell). Also, for those who don't know why I said "Trishula Engine", enjoy:
  8. do you have a theory on why Konami bans/limits certain cards that have to do with OTK's or FTK's while keeping the cards that the OTK/FTK is based on at 3? (example: blaze fenix and Genex Ally Birbman)
  9. Luck Insence is obtained by giving back the igglybuff you can obtain early on in the game. Litwik is found in the place where El tries to "cleanse" Luna, just bring a soul candle over there edit: Oh, litten. I read Litwik... ignore that part (unless you want Litwik as well)
  10. I'm sorry if you feel offended by this, but did you by any chance read any of the text? Because if you did you would most likely know all of this already

  16. Bugs that have nothing going for them? I mean... How many bland and boring fish are there? at least most of those bugs can be called cute in one way or another
  17. Every Yugioh anime follows a bit of a pattern. The main protagonist, best friend character, the female protagonist (still waiting for a Yugioh where the main protag is a girl) and main antagonist. but what about the supporting cast? some of those characters are at least twice as interesting as the main cast. So now I ask: who are your favorite supporting characters of each Yugioh series? Ground rules: forms don't count. Bakura and the Yu-boys are great characters IMO, but they are technically forms of main antagonists so it wouldn't be fair to count them. Secondary rivals (like Hell Kaiser, Johan, and Shark) don't count. as much as I want to say Ryo Marafuji is not enough to be a rival character, he is too much of a rival for this listing. With that being said, here's my list: DM - Duke Devlin (using the English name cuz I don't know the Japanese one). A part of why I like him is Abridged Duke, bringing Sexy and 4G back. But other than that he's a good character. he has his own game, is quite a duelist and, most importantly, he looks amazing. GX - Jim 'Crocodile' Cook (again, not sure about his Japanese name). a minor character from GX season 3, and probably my favorite of the bunch. cool hat, cool backstory, a flipping crocodile as a pet. but sadly a little misused. 5d's - Carly. I don't need to explain this I hope, but I will. Carly started off as a clumsy reporter who wanted to interview Jack Atlas. This quickly went south as she bit more than she could chew, resulting in her death by Divine (could also have gotten this spot). but by doing this she saved Jack from himself. As he said "I was saved from myself. by one woman's love.". Extremely said that she got shafted after the Dark Signer Arc (even more than Aki. The man she was in love with admitted he loved her. but later nothing outside of friendship.) ZeXaL - Cat-chan. One word, relatable. Cathy is a nerdy and shy girl who has a crush on Yuma. Eventually, she manages to get him to notice her and befriend him. Why is this relatable? because I'm easily a shy and nerdy guy who rarely even has the guts to talk to someone I have a crush on. also, she is at least 10 times better than Kotori. Cathy can at least duel her way out of a paper bag (Yes, she lost all duels she was in, but at least she actually dueled more than 3 times). Arc-V - Kurosaki Shun. Great character, I can't say that could disproof that. want to find his sister who was taken by Fusion duelists while said fusion duelists were taking down his dimension, this results in him hating Fusion and everyone using it. Later he learns to like some people who use Fusion, but it takes him a while. Guess he made up for ZeXaL only getting one legacy character And that's my list. please

  19. So, a little bit ago in a comment chain I critisized smash mellee for the tricks there mostly being exploids of the system. now, I think at least a few months later, someone says that saying that is like critisizing speedrunners for using glitches. Now, who ever said I didn't critisize speedrunners for using glitches? it'literally just a race of who can cheat the best at this videogame if you count glitches. If you're gonna speedrun a game, at leastplay the game entirely instead of just breaking the game.

what I talked about in the melee part was generally about people praising the game for the exploits and claiming that since those have been patched in brawl and sm4sh that those are worse games.

As for speedruns, I generally dislike them. if I play a game I personally want to get everything out of it. get the 100% if possible. I have used a couple of glitches in the past those being one in a Yugioh ds game and the strength glitch, so I'm maybe a bit hypocritical about them in some way. also, I have never stated that breaking the game takes less skill that not doing so, have I? in fact it can take even more skill. this, however, doesn't change the fact that I can still dislike people exploiting the game to such measures.

I have no place to judge how others play a game. but I am allowed to have and share an opinion on it, be it a positive or negative one. I don't know if what I said falls under elitism as I simply see it as an opinion. nothing more, nothing less. my opinions are about as factual as a Star Wars is historically accurate, if not even less

      IntSys

The word "Cheating" implies that it is easier than normal to execute glitches no? Is that not the point of cheating?

Of course, you're allowed to have an opinion on it. However, it did sound like you're simply devaluing the other side. Words like "If you're gonna speedrun a game, at leastplay the game entirely instead of just breaking the game." gave me the impression that you're more or less the same as the people who believe that other smash games lacking melee's exploits are strictly inferior.

Maybe it's how you phrased it as "criticism" when it really is just "preference?"

perhaps. I've never been great with words, let alone explaining my opinions

  20. I would say toss that set into a volcano. but I remember that Normal has even bulkier options and is allowed to use both (for some godforsaken reason)
  21. Gardevoir. As someone who used to play Monotype while playing fairy, I have grown to love this mon. I already loved it a lot before but after I started it reach heights that just can't be beaten any time soon. Why monotype and Gardevoir go hand in hand is pretty simple: fairy needs a poison check. "But why not Tapu Lele?". Cuz lele is banned (as it should be)
  22. Grass: 21 Steel: 11 Ground: 12 Ice: 19 Ghost: 21 Dark: 6 Bug: 22 Rock: 8 Poison: 11 I'll agree that there are a lot of dark types that are edgy. for some, it works (like Absol and Incineroar IMO). for other... not so much (alolan Ratticate. nuf said). I generally really like edgy designs and if they make sense for the design I can actually love them. Like, again, Incineroar. He looks edgy because he's based on a Heel wrestler. the Bad Guy in WWE. granted I'm pretty biased because Dark is one of my favorite types. And for those who didn't notice yet. my two favorite types are the cutesy fairy types and the edgy dark types. most generally liked by me because of design. Just let that sink in. two polar opposites and I love em both. Also, can we just agree that the Honedge line is the Edgiest set of mons in the game? I'll see myself out
  23. One of the biggest reasons I love the Yugioh Anime is catchphrases, quotes and speeches. From Yusei's speech about bonds and how he feels guilty for Jack and Crow not having any parents to the invamous "Heart of the cards" and even to the ZeXaL dubbed catchphrases. But believe it or not, Yuma has 4 signature catchphrases... his "Katobinguda ore!" in the original, Feeling the Flow and High-five the sky in the dub. And the worst one IMO: "I'm gonna jet." from the manga. I mean... what does I'm gonna jet even mean? Not to hate on Zexal, but that catchphrase is just... bad.

And before you ask, no. I'm not making that one up
