  1. Graveler! since it is Ground type electroweb can't hurt it. set up with Rock Polish and then Rollout and it's GG! Graveler/Golem is also pretty for the entire game for Stealth Rock Set-ups (just make sure it has Sturdy) you should have been able to catch on in the cave in the goldenleaf forest - prior to the first Xen attack. I don't remeber if it also appears in amethyst cave... :/ if you can't get a Geodude, go with Sandshrew/Sandslash - this should be catchable in the Amethyst cave and can't be hurt by electroweb because they are also ground type. Sandshrew also learns rollout at level 7 and Magnitude at 17 - and evolves at 22 so plenty of coverage against Electric/bug early on
  2. I find it incredible that dragons even are available that early in the game... Nova mentioned that Bloanna will be available ("a dragon that we announced very early on, will be available in EP2") - if I recall correctly. and the only dragon that ever was available relativeley early was Goomy or Dratini if you had the Fishing Rod (which wasn't available at that point you got into the Safari Zone) - but even these were way after the 4th or 5th gym. ok Reborn gave us the worst dragon ever REALLY early... and now we straight up get 2 (I guess Bloanna and Lifoam) ... + 3 others in Ep1/2 that can be evolved in Ep3! so now we can specualte which Pokemon will get the dragon type in Ep.3 from all the pokemon we know thaat are in Ep.2... hmmmm... maybe Ceramor will become Ground/Dragon and look like a traditional chinese "Serpent-Dragon"? hmmmmmm... so many possibilities...
  3. oh man... now I'm really considering using another starter... this ones soooo cute and an offensive grass-type it seems. Eufur is just so weak early on, and normally I'm not into defensive strategies... or maybe I'll try to go for a Grass-type run... hmmm... (as soon as enough grass-types are available^^) Grass/Fighting just makes so much sense considering we are all total nerds and there is already a Fighting Echidna in video-games that can easily be referenced... and speaking of that reference -> punching moves! however... Fighting is just ONE speculation and is solely based on a possible reference to Knuckles... It could also become Grass/STEEL - hint in the IRON Barbs ability - Spikes hard as STEEL! and I think it will get dig for covorage against fire-types, and Pin Missile against Psychic types and as a hidden ability it could get Battle Armor - to compensate its lack of defence (as it was stated in comparisson to Eufur) or maybe even Grass-pelt
  4. first playthrough I did, because - hey free pokemon, yay! - oh it is trong against the gym leader - sweet easy win to continue the story second playthrough I was like... "Ok - you give me the challange of always being strong against my type... and then you casually give me the answer... where is the challange in that? - SCREW YOU I DON'T NEED THIS STUPID MONKEY!"
  5. welp... Civil War is easily the best Marvel CU movie... but it could have been over so much earlier and friendlier... IF Captn./Bucky would actually TALK to Tony instead of resiasting arrest and go "we punch face now" - but then the movie wouldn't be much fun

  6. I'm going to watch Civil War - see you later :D

  7. currently I'm only interested in the starters, to speculate over which one I'll start with. and the Box-Legendaries to see which one I want to get. it wasn't different for X/Y - I saw the starters, and thought... great it will be Fire starter again... like always... then I found out that Froakie will become a Ninja, and swapped for Froakie When I saw the legendaries I first was like... yeah Y has the cooler one with Yveltal... but looking at the typings and seeing Xerneas as a Fairy I went for X because it would be the "new" Type. (and would have the Type-advantage against the other two, which where Dark - Yveltal, and Dragon - Zygarde) oh, and I got really excited for Honedge - which they showed in an Nintendo direct - because of its great typing. but I hope we don't get spoiled to many pokemon in the coming months so that we will still have things to discover.
  8. so... it seems Nintendo Censorship for the western market strikes again @SMTxFE (or Tokyo Mirage Session #FE) - apperantly the western market will not be able to get certain DLC(s) due to censorship... again...

I mean... I can live with them incresing the age of the characters to 18 (for legal reasons) and putting the girls in less revealing clothes...

but denying me actual GAME CONTENT... wow Nintendo... wow!

(the DLC in question is OF COURSE the Hot Spring DLC)

  9. (Snow) Leopard Panther Cougar more Dinosaurs: Triceratops Ankylosaurus Stegosaurus
  10. wow Hearthstone Arena really doesn't like me... two different Arena Runs both 0-3... in both runs I got NOT A SINGLE spell card in my draft... and no minions with removal effects... *sigh*

      Pandalex12

I feel you. I decided to go back and play HS. Got rekt. Drew the late game when I drafted a good amount of small minions :/

    3. Raindrop Valkyrie

      Raindrop Valkyrie

I mean I've played plenty of Arenas and done ine without that stuff, you jsut got to start drafting around what you have and trying to get cards that work with what you have going on. Form a gameplan, figure what you deck needs to be doing to win at anytime in the game etc... it's part of the draft process after all XD. But, still yea sometimes you gotta make your own luck. ((I definitely can understand bad drafts but at times you gotta make the best of it.))

      Raindrop Valkyrie

Arena is a very different beast to Constructed, so you gotta to think in different ways lol.

  11. another one with Primary Status removal: Extinguish Type: Water Category: Special Power: 50 PP: 15 Accuracy: 95 Effect: Sprays the target with a fire-quenching foam, lowers the targets speed by one stage and cures the targets Burn status if possible. If the target is afflicted by Burn, the Burn status is cured, the power of this move is increased by 50% and lowers the targets speed by 2 stages instead of 1. A decent move that always lowers the targets speed - so good utility, but shines against Flame-Orb users, which are always re-burned at the end of a turn, profiting from increased damaged and double the speed reduction.
  12. well, I'm happy about the Standard format, since I don't play very often, I was always behind on "meta" cards and didn't stand a chance (all those Dr. Booms and Secret paladins etc.) now with standard and those 50 pre-ordered packs (got 2 Legendaries - Shaman and Mage) - I can finally have fun again while playing instead of total frustration. I actually got rank 17 today... while all the other times I couldn't bare to go further than 23 or so, because it was just frustrating with me lacking so many cards... (yeah, I pre-ordered so I could basically play again) I mostly played the new Zoo-Warlock with the "Darkshire Councilman" - Damn this thing is brutal if you don't stop it early. (it's 3 Mana 1/5 - When you summon a minion gain +1 attack) with the forbidden Ritual - that uses all your mana and summons that many 1/1 tentacles you can have a strong 5/5 on turn 4 + 4 additional 1/1 minions which is 9 Damage on the board on turn 4! I also played C'Thun Druid for my current quests, it's great if you get your C'Thun buffers early on, to get a 4/10 Amberweaver out by turn 4 (Amberweaver: 4 Mana 4/5 - when C'Thun has at least 10/10 gain +5health) this thing can become a solid wall - if you bring an Argus Defender or that Shield-girl, who give taunt to adjacanet minions - you have a better druid of the Claw in bear form for other decks I'm missing to many cards, but I think I try to play some other classes tomorrow, maybe try out Shaman and Mage with those Legendaries.
  13. Gamma Knife Type: Poison Catgory: Physical Power: 70 PP: 15 Accuracy: 90 Effect: Stabs the target with a radiated sharp blade, such as a claw. 25% chance to poison the target, if the target is already poisoned this move will critical hit. ---- Injection Shot Type: Fairy Category: Special Power: 50 PP: 20 Accuracy: 95 Effect: Launches a barrage of Syringes, made from energy, at the target. If the opponent target is of the Poison-type or the target is poisoned, the poison will be cured and the power of this move is doubled.
  14. Cleansing Flame Type: Fire Category: Special Power: 80 PP: 10 Accuracy: 85% Effect: The user concentrates flames in his body, curing primary status-effects, and unleash the flames upon the opponent. If the attack is successful If a status effect is cured, the power of this move is reduced by 50% but gains perfect accuracy (unless it is unattackable during Fly, Dig, and similar moves) and gains priority. clarifications: Primary status effects are: Poison, Toxin, Burn, Frozen, Paralyzed, Sleep To cure a Status effect the Target must be available to be hit - but then the attack always hits, but for 40BP instead of 80BP. If the Attack is used while under a status effect, it gains priority +1 - however if the target is not available, due to Fly or Dig (and the likes), the Attack cannot connect and therefore not cure the status effect. (unless the Pokemon has No Guard)
  15. these "-kun" "-chan" "-sama" "-san" etc. after a name Red_Chaos-chan (it's a science in itself when to use which)
  16. huh I didn't even realized that there was no mention of the ability... hmmm... anyways: 1. Static - connection to Mareep confusion, which got Static because of it's fluffy wool - also mention of "used for disguise but has also other uses" (also Cotton guard move) 2. Fur Coat - "Thick like a top-quality coat" The third one is tricky... either: 3. Strong Jaw - for capturing/attacking its prey with empowered STAB Bite/Crunch/Thunder Fang or: 3. Illusion - Disguises itself to blend in (or it could even be Imposter... but that wouldn't make sense because it would override the entire Pokemon in a battle...) --- also based on the statement that Catherines is the offspring of her Dads - I assume her Dad, as the Champion, will use it (its evolution) against us... IF we have to fight him as a champion or sometime ever (since it's honorary etc.)
  17. Well: effective against Mary's team and Nauphrantom especially - just gives away what we all already figured out: Electric/Dark Type (or Dark/Electric - whatever) Soooo... Evolution... it could mean anything... "I haven't figured out how to evolve it yet" - since we ar only on the way to the second gym it still could mean that it evolves just by level up, and it's not high enough level as of yet ... but because of the phrasing I think it discourages the normal leveling method: -> evolve by just leveling up = highly unlikely "Father says that unveiling the secret of Mapaca's evolution is but another challenge in my journey to become a trainer worthy of his name and role" could imply that hard work is to be done, which could mean that a maximum friendship and a certain level is required... maybe even night, because of its Dark-typing -> slightly possible Stone Evolutions - Thunder or Dusk Stones it could be possible, but I think that would be to easy and negates the statement of "challange [...] worthy of his name and role" -> I don't think so My guess would be... attention it gets a bit out of hand: 1. a certain Level requirement (lets just say level 30 for now) 2. having PSLAMB in the team ("Wolf in Pslamb's clothes") - like Remoraid is required for Mantyke to evolve into Mantine (or a Dark Pokemon in the Team for Pangoro) 3. it has to be Night, or a dark place like a cave (for it to come out of hiding under its 'Pslambs clothes' and goes in to attack it under the guise of the Darkness) (or maybe a certain place... maybe there is a Pslamb farm in the game?)
  18. hey Red I have a FANCY pattern available for you! I knew I had an event pattern, but couldn't recall which one - so I just checked... but I totally thought it was the pokeball-pattern... It just sits in my box in my X-Version and I never use/d it, so you can have it for your collection! I'll send you a PM (with friendcode etc.)
  19. Ok, so I was away from Monday 18th April until today (25th April), and I have to say, Spain is beautiful country - but I'm a bit torn, in terms of what to think of this 1 week vacation. 1 week isn't necesseralily long, but enough to be relaxing - if the weather and other circumstances are right. Some things went, sadly, a bit wrong - and that's why I'm torn what I should think of this. I'll go into few details for each day, but first my biggest complain: It was off-season - meaning it wasn't really holiday season, which in turn made the Hotels relativeley empty - and with that, there wasn't much happening around the hotel. and worst of all: MOSTLY older people! - I'm talking 50+ years old, yeah the occassional family with their 10 year old kids were there... but really... other than these parents there was no one in between 16-30 years old! (except maybe the younger Hotel Staff) And with this problem, naturally - NO cute/pretty ladies! (don't judge me... I'm a simple, guy, that has been single for too long xD) In response to Red_Chaos reply to my leaving-status (which was: "nooooo! take me with you!"): seeing the conditions there, I really would have loved to - there was a great need for cute and pretty ladies... and Redheads! (yeah - I didn't see a single readhead!) and what else went wrong - let me tell you (warning! WALL OF TEXT):
  20. welp... I totally lost out on that one because of my vacation... and I'm not going into it right now, and a new week is already dawning which means a new announcement is coming 'soon'TM maybe a bit later, when I checked up on all the things that have been going on last week
  21. guess who's back from a week in spain? :D

  23. One Piece - Water 7 Arc - Battle for Going Merry One Piece - Impel Down/Marine Ford Arc - Battle at Marine Ford
  24. Cold Pizza Leftovers: restores 100% health at the end of the turn - because cold Pizza leftovers are the best!
  25. I see where you get there... Pokemon with Dig are hit by: Earthquake, Intensity and FISSURE. Pokemon that Fly or Bounce are hit by: Twister, Thunder, Gust, Hurricane and Sky Uppercut (Thunder, Twister and Gust do double damage) Pokemon with Dive still get hit by: Sufer and Whirlpool - and for double damage The only Pokemon that might be invulnerable are Pokemon with Phantom Force or Shadow Force HOWEVER there are always: Mind Reader and Lock-On! two moves that I never see used, because frankly... there is no actual use in the meta, because there are so few moves that could profit from them, but these moves are not used because there are better moves (Zap Cannon for example, never sees use because we have Thunder and Thunderbolt) and on the topic of Dig: who DOESN'T run Earthquake on at least one of their mons? and the only Pokemon being immune to Earthquake during dig would be Vibrava/Flygon because of Levitate (the only Dig users with Levitate iirc) or you would have to strap on a Air Baloon to make any Pokemon immune during Dig But I already said: Time Paradox might be a bit broken, and gave Magic Bounce as an alternetive (more boring) ability... and Maybe the speed boost is a bit much with Time Paradox in play - I give you that... and maybe we could make it that Time Paradox has an inbuild "Pressure" for itself, so it would take 2 PP per attack (like 1 PP per turn that would normally happen, but now happens in one turn anyway - this topic is for mega-evolutions and not the abilities (I had time paradox already in the make your own ability topic)
