I think Altaria is Ciel's signature Pokémon. Ame has stated that as far as this game is concerned, flavor comes before function. I haven't seen the new area, but I kinda liked how the Tangrowth turned the park into a unique dungeon. It really highlighted how a simple park could be twisted into a gigantic death-jungle. But hey, it's probably better off this way. And who knows? When I play through the game again, maybe I'll reach the new Obsidia Park event and say "Yup, this is so much better."

This heavily implies that while white normally makes the first move in chess, Radomus tries to turn that norm on its head. The color that normally goes last now goes first, and vice-versa. In other words, slower Pokémon move first, and faster Pokémon move last. See what's happening there?

If it made logical sense from a storyline perspective, would you allow the player to retry the battle that they lost without having to go through the previous battles again? Ooh, juicy~! They joined Team Meteor to secure themselves positions "at the top" in the new world, but at what point are they willing to eschew common morals and tear this world apart to meet that end? Do they crave positions of power just for the sake of having power? ...Ah, sorry. More than anything else, these are just "rhetorical food-for-thought" questions.

I always love reading Ame's expository responses. These posts never fail to offer previously unseen insight into the game, and they allow me to see it from a perspective that I wouldn't always think to view it from. Gosh, now I wanna see Radomus in action. Even if he doesn't accept challenges anymore, I hope there are some recorded PO/Showdown battles with him floating around.

This topic has been discussed to death since, what, December? It means that of the four scenes depicted on the screens (hashtag bars) in his gym, only two will result in deaths. It shouldn't be hard to guess which two those are~!
