Anyway, I think the main thing that would dissuade Ame from doing this is the very real possibility that the actual Reborn League members would find it unsettling if players shipped themselves with their characters.

I think we need to put "THE SHINY RATE IN THIS GAME IS 1.07% SO THEY'RE NOT THAT RARE SRSLY GUYS" on the front page in huge, imposing letters. Because the number of these "OMG A SHINY" threads is getting out of hand.

I said this exact same thing in another thread, and the response I got was "But the wait time will be way too long!" People can certainly wait. Unless there's a corner case where an evolved Pokémon learns a move that its base form doesn't, there's no harm in raising it up to the desired level in the meantime.

You can't get the Mega Ring anywhere. It's not obtainable yet, and probably won't be for a long time.

A famous game designer once said, "Restrictions breed creativity." And you know what? He's right. With the limitations that Reborn has in place, you need to think outside the box in order to overcome the challenges that it presents to you. I'm curious. How is the player's creativity being stifled, in your mind? On another note, my main team had two surefire answers for Arceus, and I didn't even need to change up any members or movesets.

Not gonna lie, you kinda sound like someone giving a sales pitch in that first post, and I find it funny. No, it really isn't. Grinding is completely unnecessary; it only makes the experience easier. Also, there's another thread exactly like this one that was made only a few days ago.

Serra saddens me. I wanna see her cheer up, or at least become more relevant in the story.

You'll need a Key Stone to use Mega Evolution, too. That's like trying to turn on an unplugged appliance and saying "WHY ISN'T THIS WORKING???"

I forgot how much Infernape's movepool suffers due to Reborn's lack of decent TMs. Although to be fair, Protean Greninja also suffers from that same lack of TMs. That's the exact reason why I feel that Torchic's Hidden Ability won't be removed. Removing one starter's Hidden Ability and no one else's would be awkward at best and upsetting at worst. "So all of the starters can come with their hidden abilities... except this one??? THE COMPLETIONIST IN ME IS CLAWING FRANTICALLY AT THIS TRAVESTY"

Oh man, it was great. I took 60% from Focus Blast, set up Light Screen. Took another 30% from Focus Blast, use Soft-Boiled. Took 30% from Focus Blast again, use Toxic. El uses Full Heal, I land another Toxic. Once all the Full Heals have been exhausted, I set up the Light Screen again and continue to Soft-Boiled until Arceus faints from the poison.

No, but Infernape is still an absolute monster. An extra 20% to a STAB priority move and a relevant coverage move is SUPER good. On another note, what did y'all nickname your Blazikens? Mine is named "Capt. Falcon," for obvious reasons.

I don't remember exactly how the entire battle transpired, but near the end of it, I was left with only GOD KILLER the Blissey against his Walrein, Rotom-F, and Froslass. I took two field-boosted Blizzards, took around 30% from both, and got frozen. Next turn, two more Blizzards, I thaw and set up Light Screen. After that, I take two more Blizzards and Soft-Boiled my health back. Two more Blizzards, Soft-Boiled again. Two more Blizzards, Toxic. Two more Blizzards, Toxic again. Long story short, I eventually Toxic-stall three entire Pokémon with my solo Blissey while taking negligible amounts of damage from two STAB, field-boosted Blizzards every turn. (This Blissey is super invested in Special Defense. Calm nature, max HP and Sp. Def EVs, and Light Screen while holding Light Clay. The reason why it's named "GOD KILLER" is because it was originally intended to single-handedly Toxic-stall El's Arceus - and boy did it ever.)

I picked Torchic because Blaziken is my favorite starter by a country mile, but I agree wholeheartedly. There's a reason why this thing is in the Ubers tier, and that's because it can set up and tear teams apart with startling consistency and minimal investment. I've solo'd several of the gyms in this game with an underleveled Blaziken, and it hardly feels satisfying. I've actually been keeping him in the PC ever since I swept Samson with him. Granted, Blaziken without Speed Boost is quite tame - rather underwhelming, actually. Although it probably won't happen, I would totally understand if Ame decided to remove Torchic's and Chimchar's Hidden Abilities from the starters at the beginning of the game.

...Do you know of any sprite artists/animators who know how to code cutscenes into RPG Maker? Such a person (or group of persons) could work on the cutscenes while you and the rest of the team work on the new episode.
