You can purchase non-DLC skills (meaning, NOT things like Paragon and Aether) for all units shared between you and a defeated castle owner. > Make sure you're connected to the internet > Visit a castle (Highly recommend clicking Rankings and then Visit Points ...followed by a Castle named "SKILLS" as well as "Easy Seize") > Talk to that castle's Corrin, who will be found at the throne. > Select "Battle in Their Castle" and then "No Handicaps" - It's imperative to battle them as invaders rather than defenders, without aid. > Seize throne (most Easy Seize castles will have their units holding their position and non-aggressive, so just walk up the map.) > Buy a Skill, and then select which shared unit....and then the skill you want. For example, if I wanted to get my Silas the "Lethality" skill that only Master Ninjas pick up naturally, I can go the long way, buddy or marriage seal Silas to someone like Kaze or Kagero, and train up to Level 5 as a Master Ninja.........or I can simply find a Castle that has a Lethality Silas and buy the skill for him. Keep in mind, that the skill will only be available for the unit you purchase it for. So if you find a Lethality Silas - the only unit that will have Lethality is Silas. --- Favorite Skills 1. Renewal: From the Monk/Priestess class...This skill gives you 40 percent of your HP back at the end of each turn - and it basically nullifies the need for stave users in easier difficulties. 2. Lifetaker: Dark Knights - Basically the same concept, but only works if you attack an opponent and defeat them on your turn. 3. Certain Blow: Hailing from the Hoshidan Sniper class, Certain Blow gives you +40 accuracy when you initiate combat. Very OP on good hit units, but helpful if you like units like Arthur or Rinkah who could use some serious help with accuracy. Great for "not-so-easy-to-seize" EZ Seize castles. 4. Life and Death: From the Master of Arms class, Life and Death is essentially the "No Guard" of the Fire Emblem universe. It gives you +10 damage given AND taken. With great risk comes great reward. Great on Hoshidan Snipers and Nohrian Adventurers because archers are not frontline units. 5. Astra: Astra is that skill Ryoma procs in the beginning of any Fates run against Xander and then somehow forgets before learning it again. It attacks a unit 5 times instead of once, and stacks on doubles/quadruples (brave weaponry/lightning). It's worth turning your animations on when attacking with an astra user because watching them beat the living crap out of a unit is just fun. *edit - you can't purchase non-dlc skills...like the ones that I had listed under things you -could- for some reason

In my Reborn experiences the best pokemon to start with has been - of all things - Chespin. Chespin is my favorite pokemon, and with Reborn's starter availability it's nice to pick your absolute favorite starter - and usually finding success with your favorite is the most satisfying experience over conforming to the norm. So, if you can rock out with your favorite - that's what I would suggest. That being said... The best starter overall is Torchic because Speed Boost is a gamebreaking ability and Fire is the best typing to start with.

Fifthsies! In Reborn, single squading the entire league and story is quite difficult. It's not impossible, but catching Pokemon when you can increases your chances of overcoming obstacles. It's much easier to play the game with a rotation of multiple Pokemon than it is to go through it with one team of six.

Praise The Sun... and Moon - Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon
Chase replied to Godot's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
Alright...so I just now saw all the new Pokemon....there are some I like and some I don't. Starting with ones I don't like....Bruxish and Drampa look......bizarre. The new abilities are neat...but I'm not digging the combination of sharp incisors and....glamor. Drampa's design doesn't match it's ability to me...if it's going to be a grandpa dragon, and it's ability is Beserk..it should look Beserk... I like the Grubbin line, the not-starter bird pokemon with Skill Link....and Donald Trumpgoose. -
In terms of the kinds of themes this game touches...yeah, it's different. You have things like suggestive dialogue that is not only on the nose, but very much in your face. (Thank you, Cain...) You have things like gym leaders offing themselves by leaping off of a bridge or gym leaders getting offed by Pokemon's scythe arms. You have multiple personality disorders, you have memory loss, you have ugly displays of deception and torture, you have drug use, and you have the sinking feeling that this game's evil organization isn't after your pokemon, a grand terraforming scheme, or even some form of "liberation" of your pocket monsters. You have a game that normally functions in a sphere of innocence a majority of the time, thrust in the lens of innocence long lost. I don't think the forum needed to go on crusade against you, friend. Not that it gives you a pass, but that this game has overachieved and shot well above it's target audience because of it's amazing gameplay features, difficulty, availability of Pokemon, items, and even abilities. As others have stated, the game's focal point isn't the story. People don't play Reborn for the story today (taking into account the sheer size of the playerbase) - and just because the story is "edgey" - it doesn't detract from the other aspects of the game. As others have stated, if you can't handle the game, you can always make the decision yourself to stop playing. However - as someone who knows the developer personally - this work is how it is because the author put characters from her own life into her art. She didn't do it to make money or get famous - but to entertain herself and her circle of friends. It's only coincidence everything else followed.

Because lining up for the Republican Party is a sad thing to do these days. If you're not an American - there's a few things you can do. First - name the political party in your country that you most agree with (Say, Conservative Party (UK)) and then your differences Those that don't have a clue where that political party stands can google it themselves. Here we go. Best-fit Party- Republican (USA) ---- Traitorous Statement 1: The Republicans need to clear the way for LGBT progress in America - and pick their holistic battles in terms that are more applicable to national documents (I.e. the Constitution.) As a "Christian Right-winger" I will admit that last summer's SCOTUS decision that off-handedly determined the definition of marriage in America without a referendum and more on presidential representation than on populace representation wasn't exactly a day I was grinning from ear-to-ear. However, I remember being at peace with the decision - While many of my rightie friends were put off on procedure (rightfully) and on moralistic principle (possibly wrongfully)....and on biblical assumption into the nation's political sphere (very wrongfully) - the lefties that I know and love were more than overjoyed. It was a genuine victory for people that held a special place in my heart. While I was a dissenter, I couldn't help but at least feel good for my friends. It's worth noting that the most important letter with regards to ME in the acronym L-G-B-T...is the T (Transgender). Because of a specific individual beating the minister in providing knowledge on the Trans-America's state of affairs, I would grow to be more inclined to oppose the church and the Republican Party when it comes to how to approach trans-issues. As for LGB - I (apparently) don't have a say for those folks. Unlike things that Republicans do worry about (like the threat of ISIS, a group that is much harsher to the LGBT community than the GOP) - I don't think "Love is love" or "traditional family structures" are something our government really needs to be all that concerned about - and as much as the Christian lobby will revolt, I think the Grand Ole' Party stands to gain in challenging the Democrats when it comes to representing Gays, Lesbians, Bi-sexuals, and Transgender individuals in the future. Not every homosexual is a bleeding liberal. They just don't have much of a choice at the moment. Traitorous Statement 2: The Republicans should oppose the Death Penalty sooner rather than later. This one isn't all that surprisingly for me. My father is a defense attorney and much of his work involves exonerating criminals who were wrongfully convicted. In Texas, this means potentially saving the neck of an innocent human being. This isn't a rosey determination however. With the threat of mass-shootings in America right-wingers point the death penalty as the ultimate punishment that needs to be upheld - as their argument for stopping them involves heavier sentencing. As someone who opposes the DP, but also opposes most gun control measures liberals propose, it's not the easiest position to hold. However, the innocent lives that are senselessly taken because of the existence of this kind of punishment in America is worth putting myself in that pickle. Traitorous Statement 3: Investing in the nation's education isn't "too much of an expense" and can be done with conservative measures in place (such as privatization of school districts, encouraging competition, and giving power to the states.) Self-explanatory. There can be a National Education Foundation and there can be taxpayer money to better enrich the lives of Americans. It can be done without liberals forcing the same curriculum down every student's throat and even can be used as a decentralized coffers as opposed to the head of the education department. It can allow for better-performing students to fly to better schools, but the funding the National level can provide can also salvage our public schooling and give even the lesser prodigal children of America something to work with. Republicans need to abandon far-fetched notions of "shutting down the Department of Education". That's just silly. Traitorous Statement 4: Global Warming - in SOME degree - is a genuine threat and not a wild myth. The sensible GOPer is merely "skeptical" but doesn't dismiss outright the legitimacy of GW. It wouldn't kill Republicans to start paying attention in summits just like it wouldn't kill Democrats to be open to terrorism summits. Traitorous Statement 5: Hope-based Immigration needs to be encouraged in whatever reform takes place, while ILLEGAL immigration needs to be specified as the real issue. This may even mean some illegals are granted a form of amnesty. This may mean that some illegal immigrants are given a path to citizenship without having to be deported and engage in the process from another country after having already gone on a journey. What the immigration policy needs to reflect is that America is a country that was founded by immigrants and for it's 240 year lifespan has been a beacon of hope to the rest of the world first and foremost. While liberals need to be open to stricter procedural points such as instilling E-Verify, screening, and adding more border security (INCLUDING a "wall") - conservatives need to steer clear of the nativist attitudes and welcome immigrants (ESPECIALLY those that came here correctly) with open arms and rather than oppose citizenship policies, encourage them. The tragedies that BOTH parties need to bring to light are gang activity as well drug and human trafficking that occurs through illegal border crossing - not the competition in job hunting those people will join when getting here.

I for one will be infinitely more comfortable calling you Caritas. Happy Birthday friend. The reason I say that isn't because Kuro is a terrible name, but because I feel that I owe it to you to hold you to yourself, as you did for me. Know that your unexpected form of aide when I was half dragging myself out of the dark and half getting shoved into the light was extremely appreciated (and genuinely put me in a state of shock for a fair amount of time given our disputes). Identity aside, your road goes without saying it. It's been rocky and it's been one that has seen many lows and highs. There are elements I can relate to. My father isn't winning any "Dad of the Year" awards any time soon, and familial abuse is a valid reason as to why. I can't say it's escalated to the brink of death, not even once, but I will arrogantly assume that at least at one point or another you felt as if your father wasn't on your side. I know that I did mine. Preaching to the choir - you are the one who can overcome everything else. Your victories in academia and sustaining yourself without someone to hold your hand at times are a living testimony. Alcoholism is a self-serving demise - but you're still here and likely know that it won't be yours. Loss is - for all of us - inevitable, because you, me, and many others on this board and every living thing that has a large-enough amount of time on this rock have experienced it. Hi Caritas. I'm Hunter. Thanks for being an inspiration, a worthy opponent, and an amazing person.

People misunderstand the reasoning behind immigration reform in the United States on both sides because it seems like the righties only care about deporting our loved ones and that the lefties only care about letting someone take your job who doesn't originally come from here - and it's good to see that be a global issue, because several Leave voters had an undertone of nationalism behind their vote. However, what needs to be understood about the border issue here is that the European Union has one of the most lenient legislators when it comes to border-crossing. The way it's currently set up people are able to freely go from country to country, live in France and work in England, without even needing a travel visa to do so. While that's perfectly awesome for law-abiding vagabonds, it's not a very good thing when a national security crisis elsewhere forces millions of people to become refugees and leave uncertainty behind those millions of identities. That's EXACTLY what the Syrian crisis was for Europe. These refugees - possibly sheltering insurgents among their ranks (who are just as capable of radicalizing the French and Belgian terrorists associated with Paris and Brussels as they are with conducting the attacks themselves) - SWARMED the entirety of the EU and were at the leisure to travel extraordinarily freely, while yes, with the potential to displace workers who were already there because they brought with them skills and the willingness to take a lesser paycheck. The difference between the United Kingdom and the United States here is that the United Kingdom had very, VERY little say on the matter alone due to sharing border legislation with 27 other countries and having to answer to authorities in Brussels. This made places like London just as much prone targets for radicalization and attacks as Brussels (which shouldn't be seeing attacks like the one it saw being the EPICENTER of the so-called "good" European Union.) and Paris. This wasn't a bid for nationalism. It was a bid for autonomy. The Britons who pulled the lever for 'Leave' want to be decide their own fate with the border legislation, with their trade deals, and with their economic prowess. For better or for worse.

Whoa whoa whoa..... Niles is not NOT Tharja. Niles is a sadistic ex-con who has a perverted sense of the world. Tharja is a yandere-ish Avatar-obsessive.....And Birthright will punch you in the teeth if you don't like Tharja. Peri as Lissa?..............I don't see it. Odin, Severa, and Laslow are indeed your returnees (and oh, I didn't know there was a poll in Japan to have them return...that's kinda cool) - while the bigger copy-past offenders are Child-Units.

I'm not going to argue the economic repercussions - because all I have to do is look at the United States' stock activity to know what's going on in the UK right now is not good for anyone's wallets over there. However, I feel like the biggest thing that will come out of this is that Great Britain will be free from crippling regulations on businesses and - outside of EU countries for a while - the UK is in a prime position to make great trade deals elsewhere. The way I've seen the UK, they have always been a first-world country and one with significant clout on it's own - and as has already been said, the EU is a failing, stale experiment that is operating past it's shelf life. Yes, there are politicians that are making things like immigration a big issue, and several of the voters yesterday bought into that message and hopefully it doesn't turn what Trump is spouting. I'm most excited about this because I feel like if any country is able and worthy of exiting the EU - it's the United Kingdom. It's a truly historical day and I got to witness it. -and, as a conservative politically this is a landmark victory for the conservative movement in an area where liberalism generally rings strong. Even if the wool was put over the Leavers eyes - I don't think this will cause the UK to fall over and die. It's giving the UK the opportunity to take it's rightful place as a world power on it's own.

I FOUND IT LET ME AT EM -
Correct, the UK is the fifth largest economy in the world - perhaps the largest contributor with military items. It will certainly hurt all parties involved economically - at least in the short term. I - for one - think that everyone is going to be okay. I think the EU will be stronger because of it and I think the UK will be fine as a completely autonomous country.
-
For those of you that are confused as to what is going on today with the European Union - here's the skinny. The United Kingdom held a nationwide referendum (a fancy term for a citizen-driven vote) as to what they should do with regards to remaining or exiting the European Union. The European Union - to those who like me and aren't a part of it as a United States Citizen or someone that isn't a European, is a collective political and economical union of 28 countries in Europe. Here's the impact of it: Historic: The United Kingdom will be the first member EVER to leave the EU - making today a significant date in history as a precedent setter for countries who may wish to leave the EU down the line. Economic: Starting with the positives, the UK will no longer have to pay the EU it's membership dues, saving the UK billions of pounds a year. However, the British pound took a significant hit, seeing a 31 year low as a result of the market chaos at the moment. This should NOT be permanent - and many 'Leave' supporters are definitely confident that they can return their economic prowess quickly - but the global markets and the pound are not as good as they might have been had 'Remain' won the vote. Political: This kind of upset vote was driven by the UK's populace, with the 'Leave' supporters consisting of the UK's working class south of the Scottish Border. Britain and Wales surprisingly took up the mantel for 'Leave' while the other half of the United Kingdom - Scotland and Ireland - overwhelmingly voted for 'Remain'. The 'Leave' vote was driven in a form of "populist" "grassroots" approach - essentially mirroring the 'Trumpism' movement in America. Another term for this group is aptly named "Eurosceptics" (with Remainers also being called "Europhiles".) - and the leading political themes behind the Eurosceptics' cause are singular control of immigration and protectionist approaches to free trade - themes Donald Trump has made a name for here in America. Geographic: It's worth noting that Scotland recently voted for it's own independence from the United Kingdom and by something like 10% the country decided to remain in the UK. One of the reasons WHY was because they favored remaining in the EU - which now - obviously won't hapen.....(my keyboard is borked as of this post.....) This means that Scotland may be looking to hold another vote in the future - along with Ireland. It also means that the EU may have to double down on it's members in order to 'revent further exodus as other EU countries may wish to leave as well. Trade: The UK and the EU will have to provide new trade agreements and I would not see the EU being very kind in doing so. America has vowed to be neutral and trade to both.

Good job, Britain. Right call.

It's more than just immigration, Neo. It's autonomy in the UK's case, along with the same legislation on trade Bernie Sanders as well as Donald have green lighted.
-
Fam, the UK proposed much of the laws and regulations that the EU follows. They're gonna have a hell of a time getting into the European Economic Zone, which is arguably the best route. And then they're back where they started, on some level, because they'll HAVE to follow EU trade regulations.

One of the things I've been hoping for with many of these "What I think each member's _____ is" threads is seeing how well the person either knows me or pays attention during dialogue with them. Obviously with a few people I don't know or have spoken to - but it's very evident the things we have spoken to each other about influenced your decision, along with how well you -truly- do know me. Starting with the artist and the title, I knew this was going to be a good selection from you. I remember speaking about Kanye various times with you and almost all of the conversation has been constructive, and this caused me to smile when seeing you had selected a Kanye track for this exercise. The title turned that smile into a full-blown grin. Either I was in for some satirical track where "Yeezus" marches in Jesus' stead, or Kanye was going to give a surprising positive light to Christ. ...it was definitely the latter. There was also a little bit about -you- in the piece too. The music video at least made it very evident of the struggle African Americans face and how they too - like the rest of us - are equally acquainted and belong with Christ. The imagery of hard work under the orders of a white superior or playing outside under the grasp of poverty mirrored some of your previous soapboxes on the condition of Black America - and when listening to the track, made me feel as if I needed to help in any way I can to fix that. Maybe I wasn't listening with the right kind of ear - but I am surprised you know me that well, Erick. Nice work.

Yo, if you guys want to turn this into a Q and A, go ahead and shoot. I like questions and I'm not afraid of shutting down ones that may be too personal. Me too, man. It's a pleasure meeting you. Hope to see you around. A church planter's main goal is to build a church congregation in an area where there previously wasn't one. They go out to places all over the world, listen to accounts from locals and neighboring pastors, raise money, work with architects, establish church boards, are involved with pastor recruitment, and hopefully open a church at the end of the process. Personally, I have always wanted to start a church in a metropolitan area, because in America big cities are some of the most unchurched populations and I have always preferred urban to rural life. I know this sounds like another way to "forcibly" bring people to Christ to some - but it's really just establishing a building and a core of people that already are believers into an area where they can start their own congregations and operate regular services. From there, the locals decide if they want to join the congregation or not. The term "church planter" comes from the fact that the person "plants the seed" of the original congregation in the area, and that seed either grows or dies on it's own. In my case, I believe because of personal experience. I was technically a "church boy" from the start with my pre-school and Mother's-day-out programs being hosted by local places of worship. This quickly turned into going to Wednesday and Sunday services during my elementary school years, and joining the youth group in middle school. Middle School of course, was when I started to have my own doubts about Christ. The church-based pre-school made all the God stuff essentially head-knowledge. I knew my Bible stories but I treated the Bible like a mere history textbook instead of - you know - "the Word". At this time I was having a rough time with bullying and my science courses were providing the groundwork for things like "The Big Bang Theory" and evolution. The world around me was becoming much more secular and clashed with the information I was getting on Wednesday and Sunday as well as what was drilled into my head during my early childhood. Eventually, I made a personal decision to ascribe to "agnosticism" (-one simply doesn't have enough knowledge to determine the existence or lack thereof of a divine being-) whenever I heard the term for the first time. This didn't make my life problems go away, and if anything, caused my youth minister to be a bit aggressive in pursuing me. She signed me up and paid in full for a week to spend as a volunteer at the summer camp she worked at for most of her adult life - without my permission. The night prior to the trip, I broke down. I was talking to the walls, asking God why he was allowing some of the negative things in my life to happen - from the constant bullying at school to the deaths of family members all the way back to my parents' divorce. ... and suddenly the walls talked back. "It's not all about you." ...and for whatever reason, the "Lord" was the only answer my brain had to explain such a phenomenon - even when I wanted to say I had truly lost my marbles. I finished packing my bags - and went to camp - and it ended up being such an impact in my life that I would later work as a counselor at the camp myself, re-affirm my faith, go to a faith-based university and major in Christian Studies, and eventually feel called to a career close to God's vest. I've been much happier as a result. In short - denying the existence of God now would, to me anyway, be lying to myself. It's a friendship. Admit it. I'm a pretty cool guy... Yeah, let's talk more often. Aika certainly doesn't get enough headaches anyway. ^^ Thanks for high praise. I owe a lot of my so-called respect to those who have been patient with me, from Ame on downward. Honestly, this place was equal parts accepting and forgiving as well as vindictive and real. The first part is the reason I ended up sticking around - because nobody wants to be in a place where they aren't wanted. I can't say you're gathering correctly or not - but regardless, I hope I'm a bit more visible. You most certainly will. .....oh......OH..................U-um..........Hi...........you're cute.....................What was your question again? Sure thing. I'm gonna go get some joe right now. @ Vinny What you said last time needed to be said. I was going to be worried if EVERYONE was going to forgive me immediately for that. What I did hurt a ton of people and was very unbecoming of the position I held. I appreciate you coming around eventually though. I've always looked up to you. ...you call that commandeering? That was more throwing stuff at the admins and being a prick at times. I don't regret doing some of it though. One of the things I wanted to be as an auth was a bridge for the community and represent their interests at the meetings as opposed to deciding their fate on my own whim. At the start, I was pretty good at it - and then I became a bit more self-centered than I needed to be. From there my agenda and my behavior fell out of line. Things happened, Mistakes were made, Lessons were learned. That song was too short....it was GROOVY. and dude since forever Ame and I had fights about tea and coffee in main all the time....#agreed. @ Red I got it from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and my grandfather who would say that all the time whenever he wanted me to do something again.

You haven't looked enough friend! I hang around the trainer's journal, while visiting the Reborn City and Pokemon Fan Club every once in a while. a certain songflower needs to put me back in a skype chat of hers. If she's so inclined.....if she's not dead. Let's fix that some time. I'll see ya around. Now why do you have to ruin a perfectly good moment with that.... Just kidding, I'm long overdue, but give me some time to get to the groomers and stop looking like Conan the Barbarian. Hi Chubb! Homework finished? ....I see a ceiling fan. (Nothing much.) Pleasure to be an acquaintance.

I don't really have a....proper introduction thread...do I......alright, let's fix that. Hey Reborn. My name is Hunter. Here at Reborn I also go by Chase, or Chaise on the Pokemon Showdown! server. For those of you other somewhat new folks, I've been here for a few years now - but since that introduction a few things have changed and most notably, the person has learned a few hard lessons about being oneself and proud of it since then. During that time I was honored to serve as an auth for Reborn and meet a bunch of great friends - several of whom who tolerate me to this day even after having to alter their perception of me to the correct one. Healthy tip - This community is one of the better pockets of the internet when it wants to be. Grant it the honor of being exactly who you are and honest about it. --- I guess I'll start with a few things about myself. I'm a 21 year old male who works as a city recreation leader and has been a summer camp counselor in the past. In other words, I suck at adulthood - and I'm proud of it. I love America - the country that I live in, and despite a very often displayed blunt personality and helpings of pure wit, I actually do consider myself to be a people person. I have had aspirations of being a church planter since high school - and without my faith I don't know exactly where I would be today. Pokemon has been a pretty big part of my life since I was 4 and and was able to play Pokemon Red. I completed the National Pokedex for the first time in Ruby. My favorite Pokemon previously was Totodile, but it's since moved to Chesnaught with the release of Generation VI. Grass and Fighting types are my favorites, while I generally despise fairy types. I came to Reborn after watching Shofu play this magnificent fan game that's based here - but I stuck to playing it and being a part of the community because of the love and effort this community all brings to the project. My favorite video game of all time is Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, and I've recently been addicted to Fire Emblem: Fates (hence the Silas avatar) My favorite YouTube channel is Game Theory - because learning through video games has always been the best part of the gaming experience for me. My favorite Let's Player is Shadypenguinn - largely because he's someone that not only provides entertainment, but is someone who I feel embodies me when I play a game. Often, he and I will have the same reaction. Music-wise, I like everything from jazz to classical to rap - but my favorite genre is rock. My favorite color is red. Favorite food is something different every day. Favorite non-alcoholic beverage is coffee, and alcohol being Irish Root Beer or Jack and Coke. I can't think of other things right now, but it was fun saying hello. Again.

Alright, so I did it. I beat Conquest. I beat it. I saw the ending cutscene where ...it didn't come without fatalities. Keaton lost his wife Camilla and his daughter Velouria to return to lone-wolf status. Ophelia also fell in the final push. but you can't take it away from me. Check my card. --- My favorite thing about Conquest was the score. Every level had an intense European background track that made me feel good. Some of my favorites were "Dark Wastes", "A Dark Fall", and "No Justice" - and I would highly recommend checking those out on YouTube even if you have yet to play the Conquest route. Unless you don't want to be spoiled. That's why I didn't link the tracks here. Favorite part of the story was Hinoka's chapter, following besting your older sister. My favorite maps were Chapter 10's port town of Dia where and Hinoka's chapter where --- Least favorite chapters where

You know, I had to do a lot of thinking as to why Rinkah isn't that great of a unit, and then I realized something. Oni Savage isn't the Hoshido equivalent of Fighter (as most people seem to believe and draw comparisons to Charlotte for)....but Knight. Rinkah's a very ...unique unit in that her best growths come in defense as opposed to strength, and SPEED. This means that - at least in theory - Rinkah should be able to double Nohrian armor classes and compete with them in terms of defensive capability. This would explain why she died often in my run - I used her as an offensive unit rather than a defensive one. --- So, again in theory, Rinkah can be "fixable" with this knowledge in mind. The great thing about the Oni class line is the skills, particularly for Chieftain. Oni Chieftains pick up Death Blow - which boosts your Critical Rate by 20% naturally and makes a unit like Rinkah a fantastic Killer Axe user (which you DO pick up in Hoshido if you're willing to borrow it from Scarlet) -AND- Counter, which reciprocates physical damage dealt to the Oni Chieftain back to the attacker. Blacksmith picks up Salvage Blow, which is a decent skill if you like to forge +7 weapons, and Lancebreaker (giving lots of avoid against units like Paladins, opposing Knights, Lancers, some Wyvern Riders, Most Falcon Knights, Spear Masters, some Basara, and so on and so forth.) I'm thinking going Blacksmith Rinkah with Salvage, Death Blow, Lancebreaker, and Counter next time.
