  2. "Dwarves and humans ran my father and mother from home," the Half-Elf said quietly. "What I've observed when visiting the towns on occasion don't help me to feel entirely comfortable around the locals here, either." Looking at Dru's dwarven friend, she continued to say, "It... I can't guarantee an immediate sense of trust from me, as a result. Please don't take it personally." Her eyes were lowered, though she expressed less hostility as compared to before. At least she was looking at the Dwarf now without a sense of being irked. "You guys heard what that Ashnard fellow said, he was looking fro a Ranger. It has to be him no?" Crumbling soil seemed to linger in Helze's throat. "It might be, given what Blue said about my father stumbling over the Titan's Skin... but it could be a grave set of coincidences-- another ranger who was at the wrong place and wrong time." But even with those words, the ranger sweat a bit. "We have to hurry," she urged again.
  3. >> guys why you active when I is not around either way I'm not sure if I can post until later, I've been clogged up with school stuff and whatnot... bunny pls if you have to (or... I dunno, I'm just going to make it as though Raiza did something when I get to post. I can't right now and nor do I want to type a rushed post after having to read through two or three pages of OC/IC :c ) Also, is the whole thing over? D: I just skimmed the IC thread and holy sh what the flupp
  4. Helze resisted the urge to tilt her head, having an idea of what gave Dru his Orcish heritage, but in all honesty she wasn't really sure. "I've never met my mother. Or, at least, I don't remember much of her, other than her being a beautiful Elf maiden," she said, looking at the... teary-eyed man gently. The ranger was surprised that her usually tough comrade could be emotional like that, but revealed nothing of her astonishment. "According to my father, she was a spellcaster. An illusionist, like Sir Nero, to be more precise." Normally, Helzebeth wouldn't have been so open with her thoughts and stories... funnily enough as well, the ill tone of her face was gradually beginning to fade away.
  5. TIL how crappy our prisons are with regards to security, and that drug lords can STILL operate within the prison cells. So this is where all my family's money goes to?
  6. ZephyrEnyalios - Zephyr, ZephyrEnyalios
  7. This is not the elf that you're looking for. Uncle Jerry?
  8. Shady, shady websites linked to profiles? How have I not seen any of these before? this is what happens when I only lurk in the Etcetera region of the forum
  9. That the best you can do? An Eevee named Choice.
  10. Technically "senpai" is "upperclassman" or "senior" in English... a person bearing the title or referred to as "senpai" is often thought to exude a lovable or admirable demeanor that gets "kouhai" or "underclassmen" or "juniors" (typically females) to swoon over him (or her). Whatever characteristics that are deemed "lovable" or "admirable" depend on the "kouhai" (or, for simpler terms, admirer) in question. There isn't really a set of standards. But if you want the criteria for determining a Reborn Senpai without the lovey-dovey sentiment, then basically the term would refer to senior members, or members who've been here for a long time.
  11. Shrugging, Raiza came over, saying, "I'm sure I wouldn't have come in like a Gyro Ball if I were planning to keep to myself, pon." Before anybody could comment on the reference she made, she gestured to the Skorupi by her feet. "Her name is Achlyx; I'd just gotten her earlier, while we were in the swamps, pon. Just don't... pet her, though. Lassie's got a temper." As though to prove Raiza's words, Achlyx turned her back to the new characters and sat down.
  12. I like how you inadvertently (I think) classified me as a Dark-type C: Yes, if you mean irl, that would be my charming dearest. If you mean here on Reborn, all the senpais here are eye-catching in their own ways-- some even more than the others to me. Doesn't mean I need/want to be in a ship with them, though. because the strongest ship of them all is friendship Kyo, you are a nice and violent friend/hater... and that's what I like and simultaneously abhor about you c:
  13. The ranger in question glanced at her sorcerer companion for a second before looking forward once more. "Yes, he is. My father visited and played it in frequently when he was a lad. Sometimes he tells me he was raised by a pack of intellectual wild beasts, and that he has always lived in the Forest of Knives," said Helze, with a hint of a smile. "What about you, sir? You also hail from these Hills, right?"
  14. I don't need no more ships. I've got awesome family/friends (and Kyo I guess, even if he throws water at me), and I'm totes happy the way it is c: aka I've given up on senpai noticing me
  15. This man has no need (okay, barely any need) for words to be funny
  16. *quietly and contently brushes my one ship with a scrub*
  17. "The sky is filled with stars, and how cold the breeze is. With your gaze, I feel excited and crazy all over, my dear.~" Sometimes, I just gotta love OPM.

  18. "Well, this should do," Raiza saig, gingerly. Neither Toothless nor Achlyx would sit still for a second without hissing and/or snapping at each other, so their Trainer settled for drawing Lucifer watching a flock of Ducklett led by a Swanna. Crouching to the Skorupi's level, having left her out of her Pokeball while everybody else stayed in theirs for the time being, she said, softly, "All right, we're gonna have to work something out, here, so for now, let's walk together, pon." Quietly, the Poison-Bug type seemed to roll her eyes, but followed her new Trainer anyway. Looking back towards the cave, the girl wondered whether she should've left Kage or not... though, he did seem capable, so she supposed it was all right. In no time, she arrived to see Lana with Slade. "Eyo," she called out monotonously, with a hand up in greeting.
  19. Nodding to the group, though still not recovering from her sickly pallor, the Half-Elf gestured in a certain direction. "We take this way. It should bring us away from Hawk's Roost and towards Farreach." As she walked to the head of the group, she passed by the Fire Templar and, just as awkwardly, put a hand on his shoulder, though it came off more as a pat due to her current anxiety. Her eyes, though stormier than usual, softened at the edges to express her gratitude. "Let's hightail it out of here," she said with a serious tone, nodding to Jupiter and Dru (and glancing at the Dwarf) as she trudged forward, with her ever-loyal Hunter by her side. ((OOC: The Dwarf being Flint, that is))
