    For a while, Lucifer contentedly sat in Lana's arms to be petted. But ehhhh... he should probably get going and get Raiza. But... It felt comfortable here, and he could try a bite of that new soul in front of him. Spicy and sweet mushrooms? What a strange combination of flavors... but, food was food, and he was enjoying being pampered by Lana.

    And now to take out the competition. There were archers in the trees... easy enough to pick out. In case she was screwed over and needed an escape route, she looked around; there was a close enough tree to leap to so that she could swing on the branch. All good then; the ranger began sniping at the Gnolls with bows, ducking ever so often to hide in the leaves. Down below, Hunter waited for the archers to fall, patiently as a predator stalks his prey.

I swear sometimes I feel like I'm a female John Mayer except that I've only been in two relationships, I don't know how to play guitar, and I'm not rich and/or famous but who cares I really like his songs

    Everyone else had come back to camp and Henry was up and strollin'. Before she could call him over, he'd already gotten too far, talking to Slade. Raiza shrugged; he was probably fine, if he could walk that far. And anyway, where was Lana? "Lucifer, would you be a dear and find Lana for me, pon?" the Trainer said. Immediately the Ghost-Fire type shot off with a "Wick, wick", in search of that particular soul. Now, where-- there. With the... Oh, wow, another new character to sample! The Litwick peeped from behind Lana, staring at the long-haired boy with the Scyther and Porygon curiously. "Wick, wick," he murmured.

    Don't fret, that avy mine too, so I'm told is freakin' adorable. Maybe I should start checking out AtokNiiro too. That drawing style is cute.

    Coldly, the ranger glared at the Gnoll. Before she made a move, however, she asked, "You're nothing like Cookie, are you?" Then she shook her head. "No; I bet you're not even worth an arrow." Grabbing onto the trunk for support, she aimed and threw a kick at the Gnoll's face.

    The half-Elf was too close to not be slashed at. Although she withdrew her arm as fast as she could, the stupid thing managed to cut her arm right where it wasn't protected. And that was when she realized that she could've used the blunt ends of her bow this whole time. Having backed up as far away from the blade as far as she could, though it left her very little space to maneuver, Helze held her bow up high with both hands like it were a spear or staff. She aimed for the Gnoll's neck and jabbed downward with the bow's length, ready to raise the bow again to strike if it would work.

    In utter irritation, Helzebeth did what every girl would in self-defense. While the Gnoll wrapped his legs around her neck, she simply lunged forward with her elbow forward; if it worked, the Gnoll wouldn't be sitting down comfortably for a good while. Even if the Gnoll brought her down out of the tree, Hunter was down below and it wasn't too high up away from the ground.

    During the ride back to camp, Raiza was quiet, disturbed by Ryan's reaction. Professor Cadmus himself said that the buildings didn't look like the ones of the Academy, but how sure was he that it wasn't where the vision would take place? Drawing people and Pokemon, that was her specialty, not buildings; she'd also only drawn whatever Kage had described. Upon arrival, she'd settled with waiting outside the mini-hospital set-up, after the medical authorities told Henry to lay down and recover. The girl was quiet and pensive the whole time; this wasn't new to Lucifer. What was new was the melancholic feel he got from his Trainer. "Wick?" He nudged Raiza. Sighing, she pulled the Ghost-Fire type over and hugged him. She stayed that way for a while, not noticing when Henry came out.
