  1. True nature? Unless Henry meant all that metamorphoses going on with his soul... Well, Lucifer was certain she didn't really know about that; this was, after all, the second time she'd ever gotten to talk to him prior to the first time the two met. But what about it was supposed to make them have to... part ways? That didn't make sense, they studied in the same school, after all. "Wick, wick?" A stubby arm pointed toward Raiza, who was working with the Sneasel and another girl. The Litwick looked as though he was about to go and get his Trainer. There was a strange... mushroom-like hint to Henry's soul, after all, and to Lucifer, it was something consistent with all the lonely, melancholic souls he'd ever nibbled.
  2. "Come on," was all Helzebeth said. The ranger turned and headed off towards Sorrow's Spring. The Gnolls... they were a strange bunch. All she'd heard about them and even seen sometimes were nothing but no good. Now the world was showing her something different... Like Blue, the Illithid.
  3. The Litwick in question just stared at Henry. Why would he want to eat his soul now? Other souls weren't as interesting as he was; consuming it in one swoop would be a waste. Shaking his head, he poked and pointed at the ice pack Henry held to his ribs. "Wick." He tugged it more, trying to get it away from him, before pointing at his other hand like a person would point at his watch.
  4. "Wasn't there another kid with you guys, though?" Raiza asked. When Danielle didn't respond, she glanced in the direction the other girl was looking into. "Er. Danielle? Something wrong?" Rogue nudged the other Trainer.
  5. ((np DarkLight C; )) Oblivious to whatever was happening in the background, only knowing that for some reason a Murkrow seemed to be scuffling with a Frogadier, the would-be medic acknowledged Danielle and Slade, occasionally calling for this and that. "It's good we haven't an unconscious customer just yet, innit?" she said. Rogue said nothing, just glancing at her Trainer briefly before conjuring up more ice for a kid with a broken leg. In the short span of time she'd known Raiza, she'd thought her to be reclusive. Which was with proof-- after all she often went out of her way to avoid crowds, climbing a ton of stairs just to have lunch at the rooftop. Now she was going out of her way to help other students, the first time with that Henry person... And here she was reassuring scared students that they would be fine.
  6. Going to bed, and I'm not sure if I can come online early enough to catch up. Please do bunny or... at least.. um... not make Raiza look like an unresponsive statue.

  8. "Wick, wick," cried out a happy Lucifer. It was about time Henry removed the pack from his ribs. The Litwick tugged on the rib pack as though to tell the boy that he had to move it. How strange that this originally bland-tasting soul grew sweet and sour... how peculiar, indeed. Meanwhile, Raiza moved from student to student, checking on those that couldn't move. There were a few unlucky ones who'd broken their limbs. "We're gonna need some splints here!" she would call out from time to time. Why was she doing this, anyway? Not like she cared about these students. What if somebody asked her that? Guess I ought to think of an answer, she thought.
  9. AAAAAA'M (beat) (beat) HOOKED ON A FEELING
  10. Likewise, my first shipmate is Rose, and you the first mister. I see your pear and raise you a LOLWUT Pear x LOLKIP Pear
  11. The child looked around, taking in her surroundings. White. Big bank. Then she noticed some familiar faces as she and Miss Rose hurried past. "Fourth... Circle?" she murmured. Enya listened as the older lady talked on a walkie-talkie of some sort, to a man named Gestas. "Miss... Ellaria? Where is she? She saved Ace and me... I think," the little girl murmured, again.
  12. Something faded from her mind. "Blue?" she mouthed, as the name echoed in her mind while she searched her thoughts frantically for the mental connection. A sprinkling of powder snapped her back to reality and she saw the Gnoll turning to leave. "And may the gods ever be in favor of you and your friends," she muttered back.
  13. Ow. Now that was extremely loud and incredibly close. "Love hurts," Raiza muttered, monotonously as usual, checking Henry all over for further injuries while preparing another ice pack. "All right, I think you're good for the time being. This--" she handed him the second pack-- "is for your leg, in case it's sore. Apply it when it throbs like hell. That should do till we get to a proper doctor, or till you get a good bed. If you need somethin', send Lucifer." The Candle Pokemon hovered around their patient, happy for another chance to observe this strange soul. "Rogue, you come with me; there might be some students with broken arms, ribs, or whatever." "Snee!" Both Trainer and Sneasel set off, Raiza soon after crouching to a nearby doubled-over student.
  14. "It hurt and didn't hurt at the same time," she said, now cleaning off as much blood as she could gently, thinking of a better way to describe her experience. "You know the feeling when... you can barely feel the pain cause the shock's mostly got you gripped? Yeah, that was what it felt like. A third of the tusk was inside me, right in the stomach. Eating was impossible for a really long time." Passing her canteen and some painkillers to Henry, she continued. "Honestly I couldn't remember much other than the screaming... I was losing a ton of blood; I kept passing out. Heck, I couldn't even remember the trip to the hospital. For a while, my parents considered keeping me away from Lana's house... My house... Pokemon altogether." As though on cue, Lucifer came to rest on his Trainer's shoulders as she knelt down by Henry. "I woke up in the hospital room one night. It was dark, 'cept for the moonlight from the window... and I saw the shadows moving. Turned out that some Ghost Pokemon from home had followed my parents to the room and wanted to make sure I was okay. If it weren't for them, well, I guess I would've been traumatized forever. And I wouldn't ever have agreed to having Lucifer." The girl hugged her Ghost-Fire Pokemon tightly, to its delight. "... Though, the minor setback to sleeping in a room full of Ghost types would be the weird dreams, sometimes even nightmares," Raiza said, making a face, as a Phanpy materialized from a Pokeball. The three, Raiza, Lucifer and Rogue watched the Ground type's charade quietly, until after her performance. "When'd you catch her, Ryan?" the Trainer asked, amused. "You seem to understand her pretty easily."
  15. Raiza nodded, listening attentively, glancing at the wounds on her patient's body, before getting to work. "Money? Money's no object here. At least not right now," the girl said, dabbing Henry's wounds with some cotton balls dabbed in medicine. "And Rogue--" the Sneasel had popped out of her Pokeball at the sound of her name being called-- "some ice, please." Hesitantly at first, the Trainer reached over to check the back of Henry's head. "Luckily for you, the whiplash and impact didn't seem to injure your head." Wrapping up the ice from Rogue in some cloth, she said, "Something similar to this happened to me when I was a kid. Lana and I, we're neighbors back home, and I'd usually come over and play with the Ground types at her place." A faint scowl tugged at her lips as she worked and remembered an unpleasant memory. "It... might've been something I did, but one of the Piloswine I was playing with got spooked and gored me in the gut. I can still remember Lana screaming and running to get help," she said quietly, passing him the ice pack. "Keep this on your chest for twenty minutes every ten minutes. It should help with the pain... and don't move or bend too much, your bones could puncture your lungs if you aren't careful."
  16. Melting ice maybe? But over all, these look pretty great. c:
