  1. IMO, this REALLY isn't the type of game where you should be looking anything up, since almost every boss in the game is a spoiler in itself, but whatever. Also, doing that's just gonna get you one of the 10-ish neutral endings, which are all, as the name says, neutral. They're not gonna be anything all that impressive. Either spare everything or kill everything would be my advice to you.
  2. All help/advice I can offer is "Don't do it. Watch this video instead.".
  3. Keep in mind, the only difference between 0 and perfect 31 IV is just 31 point at level 100. So I'd say don't even bother with IVs, but hey, only HP being low is great. Really, even a Caterpie gets up to 290 HP, so it doesn't matter if IVs cost you like 20 points. IMO.
  4. What you're looking for is this topic right here: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=13527 Post there (and post your team. you said you have it in your trainer card/signature, but some people have signatures disabled by default).
  5. For this kind of stuff, please do use this section's pinned "Where do I go now?" topic in the future.
  6. Usually people make topics in the wrong section, not posts This section is about competitive play, not in-game (that,s what the Team Showcase section is for). Anyways, Toge is used at times in NU/RU iirc (not often cause Golbat does the same job, just better), so look around Smogon, find teams that include Toge, see how those teams function, what they try to do. And check this, too.
  7. Because Corphish is obtainable at exactly the same time. It's best non-STAB coverage move is Knock Off, which is STAB for Crawdaunt, Crawdaunt gets priority, Kingler's Sheer Force boosts all moves by 30% while Crawdaunt's Adaptability boosts only STABs by 30% but the only SF move Kingler gets is Rock Slide via E12 breeding, etc. Sad, really :[
  8. You need to get your 8th badge first. Just keep playing, the earliest you can get to 7t street is when the plot requires it.
  9. Check the pinned guide in the Team Showcase section, you can breed for Swords Dance on some things.
  10. I wonder, is there a max post size limit?

      oh my bad :P

actually i think the number is around 3000-4000 words lol.

      *Chuckles*

      fools... 3000-4000 is nothing.

I have only reached the post size limit once... and let me tell this: The most words you can cram into a single one is 12,000. I learned this during PSS

  11. Doooooooon't care! Really, it's an unclear term to begin with. But even with the things most people would think is part of "being an adult", things like physical age, maturity, financial independence, etc, those are all things that come in time while you're pursuing the actually important things in life, so why even bother thinking about it.
  12. I think you may be talking about the Axew Egg? Isn't that one also in Ametrine? If that's the one, you can't get it yet, you need Rock Climb, which we can't use in the field yet.
  13. I mean, with this kinda game, it's hard to get a taste for it if you don't wanna be spoiled. why not pirate it to try it? If you end up liking the game, yiu can pay for it then or something. Also, does anyone know anything about
  14. You just need 6 things that have like 1 perfect IV each (one with 31 HP, one with 31 Attack, etc) and go to the Day-Care. If you have something in the Day-Care hold a Power item, the IV that Power item boosts will be passed on (so if you put something with 31 HP IVs in the Day Care and have it hold a Power Weight, whatever you hatch will have 31 HP IVs). And then you just pass on the perfect stats, step by step, onto one thing.
  15. Emolga. And you at least know where you are, so you could've checked the guide for everything that appears in the Jasper Ward. Or if that doesn't work (which it does, go look at Emolga's event's description in the guide), make a status with a link ot that screenshot and people will tell you there. Or, if that doesn't work, you could've googled for a list of Pokemon (pretty much all of those have images too)and found what it is.
  16. Just play the game. The gate will open as you progress through the main plot.
  17. About that, the only thing the 3rd person is delete one Pokemon from your game and add another; the same a trade system would do. And if you wanna trade between your own saves, wait for it, a trading system that doesn't require a 3rd person is in the works (since you're trading with yourself, there's not even a 2nd person lol).
  18. WELP. We're both idiots XD Or too lazy to double-check things. Let's go with lazy lol
  19. Oh hey, 2000 posts. That's neat, I guess.

  20. No no no, Rock+Ground is great coverage, but it's great because it's almost perfect neutral coverage (so almost nothing resists it). But Fighting+Dark+Steel IS perfect neutral coverage and that's a combo that involves 2 of Lucario's STABs, so that's just way better. And no worries, happens to everyone lol. I remember when I was SURE that Venipede could have Swords Dance bred onto it .-.
  21. You quote posts by clicking the quote button to the bottom left of any post. Anyways, about your sets...sorry. It's rather easy to figure out how to get those moves onto Lucario and Gardevoir (and they're not the best for Lucario, cuz coverage and lack of STABs), so I don't think I'll be putting that in the guide (I'm only trying to put really useful or tough-to-figure out things like the Roserade chain in the guide). Moonlight on Arcanine is completely pointless since we have healing items, and Ninetales can't have Solar Beam cause Vulpix doesn't learn Solar Beam via TM.
  22. When you change a nature, the stats are transfered. It doesn't matter of somethung is raised with a certain nature from the start or if you change it after getting 50 levels, you'll have the same stats.
  23. Yeah, no, he could leave it in. I edited the guide after someone PMed about Flame Body/Magma Armor for the 50th time lol. And I took your tip about pointing out E12 stuff. Anyways, Locomotion, feel free to PM me if you need help with any of the stuff from the guide.
  24. Well, Durant fits just about anywhere. You do have another Fire weakness in Gourgeist, but you have Ninetales and Tyrantrum that'd take nothing from fire moves (and Gourgeist has a 50% chance at living a Darmanitan's Flare Blitz, so yeah). Jolly, Max Attack and Speed, STABs, Rock Slide and Hone Claws (E12). Since Aggron's gone, you have no resist for Rock types (which should be no big deal cause you have Gourgeist and likely EQ on Tyrantrum, but still) and Ice types. So a fighting type could work too (as could Durant's steel). You've got Hitmonlee, Mienshao Hawlucha and perhaps-ideally-to-not-let-a-Psychic-weakness-get-way-out-of-hand, Scrafty. Already did sets for 'em, so I'll just copy-paste: -Hitmonlee:Unburden, Blaze Kick, High Jump Kick, Bullet/Mach Punch, Thief (TM later) for Hitmonlee. Another option would be Reversal and Endure instead of High Jump Kick and Blaze Kick or the priority, that option lets you get the Unburden boost easier, though Gems are a thing, so it's no big deal anyways. -Mienshao: Reckless, High Jump Kick, Knock Off, Acrobatics(E12 or TM waaaaay later)/Poison Jab(E12)/Rock Slide (E12) for Mienshao (Farfetch'd for Knock Off, Acrobatics and/or Poison Jab, Camerupt>Donphan>Mienfoo for Knock Off and Rock Slide(Acrobatics is a TM you get way later)). -Hawlucha: Unburden, High Jump Kick, Acrobatics, Swords Dance/Poison Jab(E12)/Rock Slide(E12) for Hawlucha (just continue the chain for Mienshao to get these moves onto Hawlucha) (Feather Dance is also an option to make setting up stupidly easy, which is why I'd say it's the best Fighting type in the game right now) -Scrafty: Moxie, Dragon Dance, Ice Punch, High Jump Kick, Crunch for Scrafty. Since this one doesn't have Unburden, you can give it a Wide Lens to make High Jump Kick 99% accurate. You've also got Poison and Steel covered, so you can use a Fairy type. Sylveon comes to mind. It's not the most stable with it's attacks, because one of the best reasons to use it is Pixilate Trump Card. 390 BP on the last hit. And all TC hits are at LEAST 80 BP, but you can run out easily (though you can also "set it up" easily, just waste some PP on wild Pokemon before a major battle). For other Fairy types: -Clefable's got a pretty bullshit set. Cute Charm, Minimize, Cosmic Power, Charge Beam, Stored Power...I think you see the gimmick there. Gets boring after a while, but hey, it works. -Granbull's a good combo of bulk and power. It gets Intimidate as ability and then all elemental Fangs, Crunch, Play Rough, CC, Outrage, EQ via E12. -Azumarill! Huge Power, Aqua Jet, Waterfall, Play Rough, Belly Drum/Bounce/Superpower/Brick Break/Body Slam. And there's Water types. I noticed Kingdra was mentioned here, but...no. The only reason anyone uses it in competitive is either because it's the only Dragon you can somewhat use on a Rain Team OR as a Focus Energy Draco Meteor spammer (because crits ignore attack drops), but you're not using rain and we don't have DM. Though there ARE some great water types around. They may find Ninetales' Sun annoying, but just save before a battle, see what's ahead of you and maybe don't use Ninetales or take off it's Heat Rock or something. Again, copy-paste! Kingler, Crawdaunt, Huntail, Clawitzer, Empoleon and Relicanth are the ones that...do anything worth a team slot, while Feraligatr, Empoleon and Gorebyss are the best Water types in the game IMO. Sets: -Sheer Force, Agility, Waterfall, Rock Slide/X-Scissor/Brick Break/Knock Off for Kingler (Archen>Corphish>Krabby for RS and KO in E12, Kricketune/Karrablast/Ninjask/Dwebble>Skorupi>Krabby for XS and KO in E12, Corphish>Archen>Anorith>Krabby for all RS and XS or all three in E12) -Adaptability, Knock Off, Waterfall/Crabhammer, Swords Dance/Dragon Dance, Aqua Jet/Rock Slide(E12)/X-Scissor(E12)/Brick Break. Aqua Jet is pointless if you aren't using SD, chains for RS and XS are the same as for Krabby. -Water Veil, Waterfall, Shell Smash, Ice Fang, Sucker Punch for Huntail. -Mega Launcher, Water Pulse/Scald(E12), Ice Beam(E12)/Dark Pulse/Dragon Pulse/Aura Sphere/Sludge Wave for Clawitzer, the chain for Ice Beam and Scald is in the guide. -Rock Head/Sturdy, Head Smash, Waterfall, Earthquake(E12), Zen Headbutt/Yawn for Relicanth (Whiscash for Zen Headbutt and EQ, Wooper or Whiscash for EQ). -Any Ability, Surf, Ice Beam(E12), Hidden Power Grass/Electric, Shell Smash for Gorebyss. Psychic is also an option for a 3rd attack if you're too lazy to get the right Hidden Power, but HP Grass/Electric works much better. You can also go with Baton Pass. -Torrent, Agility, Surf/Scald(E12)/Hydro Pump, Ice Beam(E12), Grass Knot for Empoleon. Chain in the guide. -Sheer Force, Waterfall, Ice Punch, Crunch, Dragon Dance for Feraligatr. There's also the mystery egg from the police in the Jasper Ward, which can give you, for Water types, Tentacruel, Starmie and Azumarill. For those: -Liquid Ooze, Sludge Wave, Scald(E12)/Surf, Ice Beam(E12), Wring Out/Acid Spray. Or be real and use SD(E12), Waterfall, Poison Jab, Knock Off Tentacruel which is surprisingly fun. -Natural Cure, Hydro Pump, Psychic, Power Gem, Icy Wind/Minimize. -Huge Power, Belly Drum/Waterfall/Aqua Jet/Play Rough/Bounce/Superpower/Brick Break/Body Slam.
