  1. Plenty of topics have been made already, please do try the search featrue before making topics. Also, we're going to the city in E16 anyways, so you can just wait.
  2. The first post of the topic says no. But if you really want Mudkip, go back to an episode before E15 and go where Squirtle is now
  3. No prob. Just make sure to read that paragraph about instructions on how to go back, so that you encounter no difficulties. And it was removed because the devs wanted the mechanics to be as close to the main games as possible, iirc.
  4. You sure you're using Episode 12? SR and HS are Egg Moves, so you can breed those whenever, but for TM moves, you need E12 (linked in the guide, along with instructions) or earlier.
  5. Please actually read the guide, ty.
  6. Maybe it'd be easier for you to have a list of confirmed yet unobtained Pokemon instead of a list of everything confirmed? I think that'd be easier to keep track off, both for you and for the readers.
  7. If you're asking why it's like that, that's Pokemon Crystal Vietnamese. The translation is like...that because it was translated from Japanese to Chinese properly, then from Chinese to Vietnamese to English very veeeeery badly.
  8. I don't remember exactly where the cabinet is, but try the search feature, there's been topics about this already, so you'll find your answer. That event didn't change at all iirc, so you can just use this. As soon as you get to Route 3, which is after E12's content, which is after the first gym leader of the circus.
  9. If it's gonna be just an HM slave, I'd say "why bother", but if you insist, give it Max Sp.Atk to help with that poor poor Special attack. Definitely max Attack and Speed, makes the most of Dragon Dance. For Aurorus, it's Max Sp.Atk and either HP to help with that atrocious defensive typing or, what's better IMO, Speed and use that Rock Polish TM we can get in E15.
  10. I'd really say skip all but Gourgeist. Quagsire is only ever used in comp because it has access to Recover, which is completely worthless in-game since we have healing items. Amoongus can take hits and Spore stuff, but it really doesn't do worthwhile damage and sleep only lasts 1-3 turns, so even if you wanna put something to sleep and switch into something to kill with, chances are you'll to get only one free hit in, if even that. Trevenant is very similar to Gourgeist, only differences being that 1) it's way frailer physically and equally bulky specially (though neither are special walls, so whatever); and 2) Trevenant has a good ability with Harvest and a Sitrus Berry. Thing is, it's so much frailer that you're more likely to be knocked out instantly than for you to get into Harvest range. Only reason I'd say to use Gourgeist is because it's just that good at it. It's best set is Impish, Max HP and Defense EVs, whatever ability, Leech Seed, Will-o-Wisp, Phantom Force, Protect (Will-o and Protect from pre-E13, Yamask is ideal). It takes next to no damage from physical attacks, can burn foes to weaken them even more, has Leech Seed to have constant good recovery (good, considering how little damage it takes), the dual statuses do 25% damage to the foe per turn, Protect and Phantom Force make it unhittable every 2 out of 3 turns, so the foe pays 75% of their health for one hit that does next to nothing. I'm really no fan of walls, but this thing managed to solo every single physical foe I threw it at, the Garchomp on Pyrous, PULSE Avalugg, etc, etc.
  11. Yeah, near where they sell shards, you can rebattle the guy and you also get shards for it. Added in E15.
  12. You can just Google this kinda stuff, but it's Focus Sash, Endeavor, Quick Attack, Rattata, cause Rattata was teh first thing people did this with.
  13. Iirc, it was said that Cotton Candies are only supposed to heal by half, but were accidentally set to be like Max Revives, so that's another deterrent to FEAR strats, with how rare actual Max Revives are.
  14. This may just be my preference, so ignore me if it's been working for you, but I reeeeeeeally don't think something that's weak to Rocks and is packing a Life Orb should be using Fake Out, when it's not even a STAB. Also, even with a Mega Lop, no one ever stays in on the first turn something with Fake Out comes in. You can give it Pursuit, maybe Poison Jab, depends on the third paragraph vvv About your reasoning of not wanting to run 2 Electric moves on Thundurus, except for wall-y or pivot-y Electric types like Zapdos or Rotom, almost all Electric types run a "proper" STAB and Volt Switch, so you could do that, especially if you never use Psychic (you mentioned Gengar, but it's made completely worthless if you T-Wave it, like anyone who knows what they're doing would stay in (T-bolt also does at least 90% to it)). So you could do that like you wanted. And if you take Author's advice with Excadrill, which I agree with, you could also replace Heatran for Tyranitar, also a great Sp.Def wall, also gets Rocks, is physical, can Pursuit-trap instead of Weavile if you don't give it Pursuit over Fake Out, and Drill also appreciates Sand support a lot.
  15. The Electrode itself knows Discharge, you can use it to change the field. At least that's how I did it.

  17. Not saying that, don't really know what all of it's switch-ins would be, just the 3 you listed. Then agai , while I'm no fan of the Attack drops, I guess it does provide the best coverage out if all options, ignoring frailer foes... Superpower it is then, thanks! That's one question taken care of.
  18. Well, Durant OHKOs Ferro at +1, and OHKOs Heatran without boosts and with Rocks up, with Superpower, and 2 +2 Iron Heads kill Gliscor, who xan only Knock Off.. It would also greatly limit it's coverage. Also really not a huge fan BP-ing around.
  19. Yes, that's a Die Hard joke, sue me. Actually don't, I'm broke. Yes, team-building amateur hour again, with another team where I have a ton of questions. The main idea for the team was simple, use 2 Pokemon I adore and haven't used or seen at all recently: Durant and Thundurus. The rest is just built around them. Also, I have no idea what Mega I should run. At all. @Life Orb Ability: Hustle EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe Adamant Nature - Iron Head - X-Scissor - Hone Claws -??? Centerpiece A, Hone Claws Durant. This thing would be godlike if it only it had 110 Base Speed or more. I was thinking of running Scarf at first, but my luck greatly disagrees, so Hone Claws it is. I'm not sure what to run as the 4th move, just cause there's so many options, I've tried all of Superpower, Rock Slide, Crunch and Thunder Fang and I just don't know. @Life Orb Ability: Prankster EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature - Thunderbolt - Hidden Power [ice] - Focus Blast - Thunder Wave Centerpiece B, A simple Prankster Thundurus. You almost never see these guys anymore for some reason. With Durant that could use just a little more Speed, something with priority slow-down move goes well. Not much to say about this one except for move #3, I've been thinking of making that U-Turn or Volt Switch for momentum. @Life Orb Ability: Levitate EVs: 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature - Draco Meteor - Psyshock - Defog - Healing Wish Since the 2 I had were Life Orbed and Thundy is weak to Rocks, a Defogger and Healer are great to have. Because of T-Tar's Sand, I was considering Leftovers instead of a Life Orb or maybe scrapping an attack for Roost? @Leftovers Ability: Levitate EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 Spe Bold Nature - Volt Switch - Hydro Pump - Will-O-Wisp - Pain Split As standard as it gets, physically wall-y Rotom-W. At first, I had Jirachi and Starmie instead of Latias and Rotom-W, but that'd give me a huge Bisharp weakness and I had nothing for Smogon Bird at the time. @Leftovers Ability: Sand Stream EVs: 248 HP / 80 Def / 180 SpD Relaxed Nature - Stealth Rock - Stone Edge - Pursuit - Fire Blast/Ice Beam The Rock setter and Special wall. Don't know what 4th move to run, don't know whether I should run Heatran as Rocks setter instead. And here's my main problem: THE MEGA Lopunny, Medicham or Diancie. Lopunny is the fastest of the three, seemingly goes best with the team type-wise and also gets Healing Wish which I could run. Medicham hits hardest and has priority, which my team has none of. Diancie is the bulkiest, benefits from T-Tar's sand and I just really like it. The first 2 also get Ice Punch, handy since my team can't really deal with Lando, except for Rotom. And that's all! Any and all help is appreciated, cause I don't know what the hell to do.
  20. I really hope you used CE to greatly speed the process up, I can't imagine how long all of that would've taken otherwise. And btw, Ghost+Fighting is much better coverage than Dragon+Fighting, so give that special one Shadow Ball.
  21. "He gave me the boot"="He threw his foot at me" If anyone wants easy money, come translate things for Serbian TV, they seemingly hire any idiot they find.

No, Nick, that's actually in the original title xD

The original title just says "The Shawshank Redemption".

Steven King's novel, which "The Shawshank Redemption" is based on, is called "Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption". Still, +50 points for mentioning an awesome movie, Nick.

  22. I'd say yes, you can replace Magneton for it. I'd recommend Surf/Hydro Pump, Sludge Bomb/Wave, Dragon Pulse, Thunderbolt(pre-E13 breeding, check the pinned guide in the Team Showcase section).
  23. ....Abomasite is in the game? ....huh. Guess I need to explore more.
  24. -Well, they're like TMs since E15, so you only need one slot for "HMs" now. -Spread moves have only 66% percent power in double battles. Better to get a kill on one than to slightly weaken both foes. -Alright. Like I said, all of it's abilities are rather mediocre. -Still, we're more likely NOT to get it. Either way, you can just bench it until we actually get both Mega Evolution and it's Mega Stone. We're 15/19 Episodes in and we only have 3 Stones so far. -Not much supporting that does besides burning stuff and Trick Room harms much more than it helps your team. -Alright. -Alright. You'll also need a Hitmonchan for Ice Punch. - -That's not the point (and accuracy isn't an issue, it's 90%. Even then, you can just give it a Wide Lens, from which Overheat also benefits), it's boosts your Overheats by 50%. -Nope, that's another E12 thing. -To help you fit Tailwind in, Roost is completely worthless. We have healing items! Why waste a much-needed slot when you have no reason to? -That's not the reason for Brick Break. One of the most important things on set-up sweepers, which is what your SD Bisharp is, is neutral coverage, for which Brick Break helps out a LOT. And about the troubles of going back you mentioned: First of all, E13's useless, you need E12, there's a link in the guide if you need it. Second, the guide already gives instructions on how to go back to E12 without any crashing or issues (besides the overworld going ham, but that's only a graphical issue).
  25. ...you have no idea how badly I want to start making bread puns here. NO IDEA. Anyways: -No need for Greninja to be mixed, especially since it's Sp.Atk is stronger and Surf is stronger than Waterfall (there's also Hydro Pump if you like never hitting). Same goes for Night Slash, use Dark Pulse. And to replace Waterfall, go back to pre-E13 and get it Ice Beam. And make it Protean -Dragon Dance Tyrantrum is way better than that, replace Crunch. Also, I'd say use Head Smash and Rock Head instead of Rock Slide and Strong Jaw. Give it a Wide Lens, makes Head Smash 88% accurate. -All of it's abilities are sucky, but make Noivern Frisk. Also ditch one of the Flying STABs, no need to have 2. I'd say keep Air Slash, it actually hits and the high flinch chance works well with it's high Speed. Instead of Hurricane, use either Boomburst or Super Fang. -No need for T-Wave, give it Agility instead. Signal Beam is also eh, Power Gem can come in handy. Though Ampharos isn't that great, I'd say replace/ditch it. -Dusknoir is bad. If you need a Trick Room setter, it's not bad, but that's about all it can do. Hex, despite being a strong move, comes from really bad Sp.Atk, give it Shadow Punch. -Mienshao is so frail, Drain Punch recovery is useless. Also, no need for Bounce. Check my guide in this section and give it Knock Off, Acrobatics and Poison Jab. And don't bother with U-Turn, it's great in comp, real bad in-game. -You're really missing out if you're not using Dragon Dance Scrafty. Ditch Drain Punch and Head Smash, give it DD and Ice Punch. -Works, not like Magnezone gets anything really good anyways. -Screens aren't necessary in-game, and Delphox' time is better spent attacking than burning stuff. Give it Shadow Ball and Grass Knot. -Deeeeefinitely make Crawdaunt Adaptability. And if you're using SD over DD, gotta have Aqua Jet somewhere. Brick Break does next to nothing for your coverage, you have almost perfect neutral coverage anyways. -No need for dual Ghost attacks. IMO, no need for any Ghost attacks when it's not even STAB. Ditch Hex, give it Charge Beam. -Give Gardevoir Energy Ball or Thunderbolt instead of Magical Leaf. -Ditch Leaf Blade, give it Shadow Sneak and, if you have one, a Spooky Plate. But honestly, Gallade is rather bad, might wanna ditch/replace it. -A fav set on Honchkrow for me is Drill Peck, Tailwind, Sucker Punch, Night Slash. Speed is the main thing preventing Honchkrow sweeps, Tailwind boosts that to the point that no unboosted foe outspeeds you, use that time to rack up kills/Moxie-boosts, then spam Sucker Punch. You can use Brave Bird instead of Drill Peck, but chances are good that you'd go down to recoil and the hit you'd take before Tailwind ends, so I'd definitely say Drill Peck. Also give it a Scope Lens, lets Night Slash crit 50% of the time. -Works. Maybe give it Brick Break instead of Night Slash since Sucker Punch is stronger anyways. -Special Crobat's better, give it Nasty Plot, Venoshock, Air Slash, HP Fighting/Ground. -If you're unsure on how to get any of the moves I listed, check the guide in this section and, if that doesn't work, feel free to PM me
