  1. Yeah, that's^^ pretty much all they get. Although, IMO, Charge Beam is much better on Alakazam than Calm Mind, since it's incredibly frail. And instead of Grass Knot, HP Fighting or at least Signal Beam from the tutor give you coverage on Dark types which would otherwise force you out, making you lose any buffs you may have accumulated by that point. Same thing for Reuniclus, though it can afford to CM up. Trick Room instead of CM is also an option, just don't go for both, no point in setting up if you have only 2 attacks with not-so-great total coverage.

  3. On my main file, it's a tie between Durant for sweeping literally every gym leader after I got it, including Charlotte, and Gourgeist for easily walling and killing every physical non-Fire type, it even soloed Garchomp. On my second file, my dream that started when I first saw the toxic lake was realised; Swords Dance Tentacruel, and it's been doing work.
  4. By ORAS move tutors, compatibility was meant. Y'know, what gets what moves was updated, actual tutors may or may not be added.
  5. Dunno about thr cupboard, but the table is in one of the 2 buildings to.the left of the museum, bottom right corner.
  6. Dear sun, would you kindly fuck off already. Nobody wants your 35°C here.

Going to be 35C here as well, and I'm stuck at work wearing black.

  7. Not living up to your name there, pal Just send out whatever Dark/Fighting/Fairy type and it'll Hyper Beam.
  8. Well, 85 base Sp.Atk realyl is nothing special and it's move pool is very limited. The only thing it gets over other Water types is Flash Cannon, which it can't even use well.
  9. As you can see in the paragraph right before the link in said guide, the graphics go ham, nothing special. Everything else works fine.
  10. The currently best obtainable Water types (IMO) are Gorebyss, Huntail and Feraligatr, although all are late game, so it'd be a while until you go to those.
  11. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/randombattle-239696761 Enough Showdown for today, not gonna get much better than that.

  12. Since E15, you can Heart Scale moves a Pokemon had when it hatched iirc
  13. Aslkjdsalkjfölksadjf Swirlix is supposed to be able to learn that, but this isn't the first oversight I've found. Nor is it the first time I'll have to edit stuff because of oversights. Thanks for the report.Hydro Pump is a level-up move anyways and it gets Ice Beam the exact same way 99% of all Water types get it, figured I won't have to point out every single instance. Same as above. Stone Edge is a thing, but with something that's frail on both sides if you use Shell Smash or on the special side if you use Curse (SS>Curse though), you can't really afford to miss and Rock Slide's high flinch chance works very well with the Speed increase. You also don't need Wooper there. Remoraid is Water 1 and Water 2, Corsola is Water 1 and Water 3, so you can skip Wooper. Huh, thought I had that one. Thanks. The guide's main purpose is to teach others how to do this stuff, something that simple isn't quite main-post-worthy, IMO. Based on what's already there, people oughta be able to figure that out easily, no need to point it out. See above. It doesn't get Dragon Rush. And DR has horrendous accuracy anyways. All it gets from TMs are EQ and Rock Slide, and I've shown on others how to get that into the Monster Group. EDIT: I actually forgot to answer your question:PMs would be ideal, this topic could get cluttered rather quickly otherwise. Even more than ot already is
  14. No need to make a topic about this, read the pinned guide in this section. To go back, leave whatever Pokemon in the Day-Care, save in the Candy Store, then load that save in E12.
  15. Incredibly easy...then again, I had a Heliolisk with HP Ice and activated Solar Power, an Archeops and a Durant with Rock Slide, can't really speak of a fair match.
  16. Typhlosion really doesn't get much to work with. It's best (IMO) would be the obvious Eruption, Lava Plume as back-up when you're low, and Hidden Power/Extrasensory/Nature Power as filler moves. Don't bother with Wild Charge, it's damage will at best be equal to Hidden Power's since it's coming off of it's weaker physical attack. And while Wild Charge would only hit Water types SE, HP Grass would hit all of your weaknesses. Although it's more as a last ditch effort, don't expect Typhlosion's 109 Base Sp.Atk to OHKO with Hidden Power unless you're up against something 4x weak to that HP. I'd recommend you use Extrasensory over Nature Power simply because you'll never need both at the same time and, since we have the TMs for NP and HP, you can just swap them on the fly instead of using a Heart Scale for ES.
  17. Do take a look at my guide in this section. It'll explian everything you need about breeding, from basics like the egg's species always being the same as the female parrnts (unless Ditto is in town), to advanced stuff such as breeding TM moves (as well as a link to an episode you need for that). It also lists breeding chains you'll need. The 3 IMO best Water types in the game are Gorebyss, Feraligatr and Huntail. I'd recommend Feraligatr since it can take it's time setting up, should it need to outstall the last sun turn or 2. Feraligatr: Ice Punch, Dragon Dance, Waterfall, Crunch. I realky don't think I need to point out that it's ability should be Sheer Force. Also, use the search feature, there's a Life Orb in the game, which gives no recoil of you've got Sheer Force. Gorebyss: Surf/Hydro Pump, Ice Beam (pre-E13), Psychic/HP Grass/Electric, Shell Smash. Hidden Power is much better, since only Water types resist both water and ice, and they're the only ones you'll ever use your third attack for. Huntail: inferior to the above 2, but still great. Waterfall, Ice Fang, Sucker Punch, Shell Smash. For an Aggron swap, Metagross isn't too great for ya since you're very Ground weak. You could use it (Zen Headbutt, Meteor Mash, Agility, Brick Break/Hammer Arm), but I'd definitely recommend either Archeops or Durant. Archeops is much faster and has godly coverage (EQ(pre-E13), Rock Slide, Acrobatics, Dragon Claw), Durant has essentially 190 base Attack due to Hustle, is way faster and has a boosting move (Hone Claws, Rock Slide, Iron Head, X-Scissor). My Durant swept even freaking Charlotte, need I say more?
  18. Definitely get Wood Hammer, Torterra is wasting it's time with special attacks. Also, Curse. Curse Tirterra is best Torterra. The key is in the railnet behind a smashable wall. Nothing to say, cause that's all it gets. Deeeefinitely get it Ice Punch (Hitmonchan>Buneary>Scraggy) and Dragon Dance (Altaria/Gyarados/Horsea lines). Bug Buzz? Why? Pay a visit to the Drill Run tutor or give it Knock Off. Or ideally, both. SD isn't ideal. As bulky as it is, it's slow, so ut'll be worn down quickly enough, it's better off as a hit-and-run-er. Go back to pre-E13 and give it Energy Ball. And Hidden Power Rock and Nasty Plot to get an amazing sweeper (a Heat Rock definitely helps). http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/696959-pokemon-x/67827372 Definitely ditch Manectric, it's terrible. I can't recommend Heliolisk enough, especially since you have a Ninetalea to activate it's Solar Power, this thing is frightening. Thunderbolt, HP Ice, Grass Knot, Dark Pulse/Surf. Ampharos is an option, but it's bulk isn't worth it's low speed, unless yiu run Agility, but even then, it hits abiut as hard as Heliolisk does, though no Electric tyoe compares to Heliolisk, it has ~190 base Sp.Atk in the sun. Aggron and Sharpedo are sub-par. There's way better Steel/Rock/Water/Dark types. Want me to think of some replacements? -Already covered^^ -A waste of a slot, really -I don't think you need it, but Ice Shard, Icicpe Crash, EQ, Body Slam is the way to go. -Good for obvious reasons.
  19. I'd say go with Archeops, Durant, Heliolisk, Crobat/Drapion/Roserade/Dragalge. For movesets: Archeops: EQ, Rock Slide/Stone Edge, Acrobatics, Dragon Claw Durant: Iron Head, X-Scissor, Rock Slide, Hone Claws Heliolisk: Thunderbolt, HP Ice, Grass Knot, Surf/Dark Pulse Crobat: Nasty Plot, Venoshock, Air Slash, HP Fighting/Fire Drapion: Poison Jab, Knock Off, Swords Dance, Agility/Dig Roserade: Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb, Hidden Power, Extrasensory Dragalge: Dragon Pulse, Surf/Hydro Pump, Sludge Bomb/Wave, Thunderbolt All chains should be listed in my guide. Another thing to consider is Ninetales (Nasty Plot, HP Rock, Flamethrower, Energy Ball), not only is it great, even on it's own, sunlight gives a huuuuge boost to both Typhlosion and Heliolisk (Solar Power).
  20. The movepool can be worked around, give it Waterfall, Headbutt/Return and Dig, only Trevenant and Gourgeist resist all 3.
  21. Just 2 Pokemon isn't a lot to go off of, your teak could turn into anything. How about types, what would you like to have?
  22. Best: being able to remain perfectly calm and think things through 100% rationally, no matter the situation. Worst: having the memory of a senile goldfish and being a lazy bastard.
  23. You can just Heart Scale Aura Sphere. Even in Agate, the circus also has one of those guys. And unless you beat Shade in E15, you definitely have Shadow Ball (he now gives Shadow Claw).
  24. Honestly, it's speed ain't the best, nor is it's bulk. Sure, CM helps the special side, but a lot of physical foes can outspeed an OHKO you. Sooooo, what I'd recommend is Aura Sphere, Nasty Plot, Shadow Ball, Vacuum Wave. VW is the obvious answer to those that outspeed you, a nice STAB at-least-+2 priority move with great coverage. I guess you could run Dragon Pulse instead of Shadow Ball, but SB means perfect neutral coverage, while any Fairy means you have to switch out and say goodbye to your buffs. It's more up to preference at this pointpoint, but definitely NP>CM and make your 4th Vacuum Wave.
  25. Thought of another 2 for ya: Super Luck Absol with SD, Play Rough, Sucker Punch. Psycho Cut/Night Slash and a Scope Lens. Adamant max Attack and HP. MMonl idea of a viable Absol, if this doesn't work, idk wtf will. Weak Armor Vanilluxe with Iron Defense, Ice Beam, Freeze-Dry, Water Pulse. The gimmick Iron Defense and Weak Armor to get +1 in both Defense and Speed turn 1 and...see what happens? It's coverage and Sp.Atk are rather good, it can potentially get to +6 in both Speed and Defense and try it's luck as a bulky sweeper as well if need be, so it could work. I think. Work up, Sucker Punch, Headbutt, Cotton Guard Furfrou could also be a thing, though it's a very similar to that Clef, just worse, so you could skip this one.
