    Holy crap, I seriously never expected the anime writers to actually do it. Too bad nothing will come of it since Serena's gone forever and Ash is going to become even worse than his gen 5 self.

    I've finally almost 100%ed Super Mystery Dungeon! Recruited all the Pokemon, beaten all the dungeons (yes even the Meowth Theater ones); all that's left is the 99 floors of hell that is Destiny Tower...

    All they needed was some sappy line along the lines of "As long as Greninja remembers ash he'll be able to keep his form". But I'm pretty sure I didn't hear anything like that. As it stands Ashninja is doomed to lose his superpowers permanently as soon as he gets hit by a fire type attack. Great thinking there Ash, I can see your Sun/Moon persona is already developing.

    So, do the Pokemon you catch in the demo just not evolve? Because I managed to get a Pikipek to level up and I'm rather suspicious that the Route 1 bird is still in its first stage despite being level freaking 35.

    No it's not? Dugtrio with wig is an actual official reveal. Assuming you soft reset enough times to get the NPC to appear, you can see it without any datamining. If I had spoiled myself by looking at the datamine, I would have already known for a fact wether or not it's Alolan Dugtrio.

    So a lot of people were hoping that dugtrio with a wig was a gag and not an actual Alolan form, but I just got the event to happen myself and the lady says something along the lines of "some Pokemon have different forms here in Alola" indicating it really is Alolan Dugtrio. You know how people keep accusing Gamefreak of running out of ideas? Yeah well it doesn't exactly help when they make stuff like "Dugtrio with wig". They didn't even change the color or anything.

    Oh thank Goomy, the animation's back to normal. For a second there I thought the utter garbage that was the gen 2 episodes was the new norm. Also I can't help but feel the way Sceptile destroyed everything was supposed to be a jab at how ungodly easy the game was

    Several reviewers got to play copies of the game. One of the things I wanted most was for them to have fixed the downright unforgivable 3d framerates, and I kinda got my wish. Because they removed 3d entirely. EDIT: I should clarify that these people only got to play for a short period of time (I think two hours), so they've only seen the early game. There could possibly be 3d in the mid to late game, but it'll only be in a mingame or something

    Ash's stupidification has begun a bit early, in today's episode his Pikachu couldn't handle someone who's only battled like three times in her life

    Uh Gamefreak, the whole point of "new typings on old Pokemon" is kinda ruined when you make all of them dark type

      3 of 8 of the evolution lines REVEALED have dark type therefore all alolan Pokemon must be dark type.

    The next week or so is gonna be pretty big for Sun and Moon. CoroCoro should leak any day now, then comes a new trailer on the 14th, and then the entire game gets leaked on the 18th.

      I don'T want the entire game spoiled for me right before it hits the shelf... I want to explore it myself and discover the rest of the stuff myself :D

    This new episode confirms that Alan's rigged mega ring did in fact make his Charizard unnaturally strong, effectively meaning he cheated. That was the writer's chance to redeem themselves by having him rematch Ash out of fairness, but of course they don't.

      Just rewatched the episode. He likely returned both his mega stone and mega ring to Sycamore, probably out of shame.

      There's a part where Alan feels guilty for all the bad stuff he's done and that the power he used against Ash "wasn't his".

      Ash says it's okay and is like "see, you ARE powerful" when Charizard beats up Team Rocket, despite that being something that happens every episode.

      I think that was more so talking about him being the one that captured Z2 and collected all of the mega evolution energy rather than his mega ring being actually rigged.

    If it's true that the starters have split evolutions then I hope both of Litten's are wrestlers (one's the heel wrestler we know and the other's a more traditional one) just because screw all of you whiny people

      Split evolutions for starters is the dumbest thing ever. That's basically telling someone they only use one of 6 Pokemon. Seriously doubt that's true or I would question GF's decisions more than I already have.

    When I said the entire game was gonna get datamined from the demo, I was slightly exaggerating, it's more like 98% of the game. You see, most Pokemon who weren't actually used in the demo still had their data in the game, but their sprites were replaced with that of an Unown, presumably to cut down on the file size. So if this demo's anything like that, then we'll have the entire Pokedex of names and types and stats and movesets and such... but won't actually know what they LOOK like.
