  1. Inb4 Popplio is the first starter to not have the same gender ratio. We're living in an age where the gym system is scrapped and it looks like Ash will actually win the league, anything is possible
  2. If they end up being fake I'd be pretty suprised, considering they just happened to EXACTLY guess the design of a major character... Also I'd be dissapointed because I really like that Popplio evolution. Rowlet's is cool too
  3. Lol, Niantic threw out a Pokemon Go "update" that changed absolutley nothing in an attempt to flush out the flood of 1 star reviews. It didn't work. Now there's even MORE 1 star reviews.

  4. Oh, I forgot to mention, the Chinese leak also correctly predicted these "Alola form" Pokemon, and even said the Vulpix line would get one. So now you can expect Alola forms of Butterfree, Ratticate, Nidoqueen/king, Growlithe, Abra, and... Doduo of all things. Also it correctly predicted Yungoose's evolution and "a bird whose appearence varies each island"
  5. Actually, according to the leak Litten IS dark type, despite its design clearly indicating otherwise. Take that how you will...
  6. One of my favorite evolutionary lines gets a new form that's even prettier than the original, and the Chinese leak is confirmed which means the gorgeous Popplio evolution is confirmed. Today's a good day.

  7. "There are no 'gyms' in the traditional sense and instead there are 'guardians' of each island who kind of function like an elite four" "The diamond shaped stones can be collected throughout the region and function similar to mega stones but differently" "There will be a fire/poison type" The Chinese leak is real. Prepare your butts for gorgeous siren Popplio.
  8. I feel the need to clarify: I don't dislike Pokemon Go... Yet. There's still a chance the update only removed tracking temporarily, and that they'll fix it later.

I'm sure they will since they've lost a lot of money in 'fixing' it.

    3. Hexagoen

      Hexagoen

To be fair, its Niantic's fault for not having a good enough server for Pokemon Go.

    4. Hexagoen

      Hexagoen

Its not about how they werent expecting this may people to play it, i mean the if the feedback on the trailer was any warning idk what was.

  9. In light of the tracking fiasco with Pokenon Go, iTunes is now offering refunds to those who spent money on the game. Hopefully THAT will spur Nitanic to fix their shit.

      5hift

It has been a fun few weeks with Pokemon Go.

Now we wait and see where Niantic goes with this...

    3. SilverJakler

      SilverJakler

Apple? Doing something GOOD? This is some serious stuff.

    4. Sutoratosu

      Sutoratosu

      what happened?

  10. Tommorow there's gonna be some more Sun/Moon news, let's see if it's anything more than just some random Pokemon this time.

  11. Well, the three step glitch has been "fixed"...
  12. Well, they "fixed" the three step bug, by removing tracking completley. If they try to sell it back to us as a microtransaction, I'm done with the game forever.

    3. Neo

      Neo

They probably took it down in the meantime. No point in having a broken feature stay up

    4. Combat

      Combat

      ^ This. It makes sense.

  13. Fun fact: This most recent episode is the third time this generation where Ash fights a guy who's using a specifically anti-Ash strategy, but wins anyway

    1. AuthorReborn

      AuthorReborn

Why use strategy when there's plot armor, Pikachu, and Ash-Greninja?

  14. Today marks two weeks and the three step glitch is still there. Nitanic's losing players because of this, you know. The game's popularity peaked on the day before the glitch showed up and has been plummeting ever since. And they still do nothing.

    1. Felicity

      Felicity

why have you got such a hard-on about this

    2. Combat

      Combat

While I agree it is annoying, I'd rather see new content or an overhaul on the battling system before hand.

It reminds me of the old ryhme: "99 little bugs in the code

99 little bugs in the code

Take one down, patch it around

117 little bugs in the code."

  15. It's good news because most normal people who aren't complete grouches actually DO want Ash to finally win a league, they just never believed it would actually happen. Now it may actually happen. That's why this generation of anime is unequivocally the fan favorite. People (well, other than you) didn't actually hate Ash because of his incompetence as a trainer, but rather they hated that he was written as an incompetent trainer. And that's gone this generation.
  16. That giant orange shuriken didn't appear in today's episode, meaning it's gonna appear in The battle against Alan. This makes Ash's chances of actually winning significantly higher, because it's be kinda weird to try and build hype for what's obviously a Sun/Moon plug but have Greninja lose anyway.

    1. CURIE

      CURIE

Now all we need is confirmation that Alan's two unrevealed Pokemon aren't legendary or gen 7...

    2. Bluewolf

      Bluewolf

      inb4 Alain has Bewear

  17. Even slow Pokemon (and humans, really) have consistently hypersonic feats so fighting while things are suspended in the air isn't exactly out there. Anyway, good news is that the giant orange shuriken didn't show up, meaning it'll show up during his fight against Alan, meaning his chances of winning against Alan are greatly increased!
  18. Can confirm, have been around since before those nerfs. Was dissapointed about how easy the game is now. It's probably for the better, but I miss how there was an uber salty "how do I beat _____" thread popping up every ten minutes. Also Shofu's 45+ minute videos that are entirely just him trying to beat one gym leader. Those were pure gold, and sometimes he wouldn't even succeed and would have to make ANOTHER 45+ minute video. I was even around before common candies were a thing. You think the level cap system is hard now?
  19. Today I found a Pokestop with a lure module. It was nice to be able to catch Pokemon again, even if it was just Pidgeys

    1. Shamitako

      Shamitako

So you were mugged and/or arrested? owo

  20. Next month's Corocoro is apparently supposed to have an "island guide". Whatever that's supposed to mean, I feel like it's finally gonna confirm or disprove the Chinese leak.
  21. Lol I saw a piece of Ghostbusters merchandise whose box called the movie a "hit blockbuster". I think that was written before the movie came out because, well...

      CURIE

Nah, it said 2016 on it

    3. Raindrop Valkyrie

      Raindrop Valkyrie

Even the first wasn't a hit blockbuster... so...

    4. DerogatoryTrainer

      DerogatoryTrainer

It was better than this one at least.

Like half the movies out there.

  22. Was watching the Pokemon Go comic con panel's Q&A when the whole crowd started chanting "3 step bug". The dude laughed at them and went on to talk about something else. I guess Pokemon Go just isn't worth your time or money anymore.

    2. Odybld

      Odybld

Even before the bug, going hunting and trying to pinpoint the location of a mon at a time was the most inefficient way to play. Take walks through the city from point A to point B, raid the stops, hatch the eggs and catch whatever pops on your way

    3. Odybld

      Odybld

Even if there weren't the lures on many stops, tbe more you walk, the more you get.

    4. Neo

      Neo

He literally said "we're aware of that one". You really just like findin' shit to complain about

  23. If I were making a Pokemon fangame and wanted a story required battle where you could only take in a certain number of Pokemon, like say two or three, is there a way to do that in Pokemon essentials or would I have to make the code for it myself?

    2. Raindrop Valkyrie

      Raindrop Valkyrie

Well I mean you could have it just read that and as a result ask if you just send 3 mons to the box. Kinda like in Gen 5, when you Catch Zekrom or REshir it asks if you want to keep it in your party. ((granted... you'd have to not have there be any travelling back out of the area and have you end up somewhere you can plop your team back together.))

    3. CURIE

      CURIE

Nah, the idea was that it would be like a regular random trainer battle, except a one-on-one or such. Sending someone back to the PC would leave you with that many fewer Pokemon for the rest of the route.

    4. Lord Chespin

      Lord Chespin

I think Pokemon Solar Light and Lunar Dark did that, so, yeah, I guess.

  24. The trailer for Justice League makes me wanna see it but... So did (most of) the trailers for Batman v Superman...
