Participation has more than tripled since Gamefreak started offering mega stones in the competitions, maybe this will tell them that people want megas back next game

Regarding the Red/Blue 3ds ports, is there a way to soft reset for the right nature when you transfer your Pokemon to the new games?  If not I think I'm better off transferring the legendary birds from Leafgreen even though I won't get their hidden abilities.

I made some improvements to the team I used in the recent competition and was feeling really confident about the next one... And it turns out the next one is in a completely different format.

Nevermind, the only place you can find Growlithes in the wild is low enough a level that they know Roar.  Screw that.

I clearly didn't learn my lesson from the shiny Salandit crusade, because now I'm after a shiny Growlithe.

I made the mistake of playing most of today's matches at a time where the majority of players were Japanese.  I had 7 wins and 8 losses and my rank's gone down to somewhere above 1568.  I need to remember for future competitions to only play around noon.

Am trying to think of a team for the possible future where Primarina gets Boomburst and wanted some suggestions.  Would that thread go in Victory Road or what?

Oops, it seems that Thursday and Friday are counted as the same day in this competition.  If I'd known I would've spaced my battles out a bit more.

Did my 15 battles for the first day.  11 wins, 3 losses, and one match where I "lost connection" when I was about to win.  Rank was 1592 before my last battle (which was a win), so it's probably 1600+ now.  I'm assuming that's good?

Tfw your opponent is clearly just in it for the participation award and his team is crap but he almost wins anyway because he gets lucky with hypnosis once

My first battle of the competion was a victory.  My Ninetales used Encore on a Mimikyu, trying to lock it into Swords Dance but forgetting it could have Shadow Sneak, but it turned out for the better because I also had a Tapu Lele to switch to.

With 2.5 hours until the competition starts, I found my 10th shiny Salandit and it's female!  ...But Syncronize didn't activate.  Is Gentle nature still usable?

The mega stone competition begins in a little over 3 hours.  If you want mega Mawile and Beedrill now's your last chance.

At 383 encounters, the ninth shiny Salandit took by far the longest to find.  And it didn't even matter because it was STILL male.

Surprisingly enough this is the first time in my whole shiny Salandit crusade where my streak went over 256

Since Salandits are 1/8th female, I was hoping the 8th shiny would be a female.  It wasn't.

After two whole days I finally found a seventh shiny Salandit!  And it's male.

No shiny Salandits today either.  Although that's moreso because I was doing more important things for most of the day.

Such is RNG, I spent all day yesterday rolling in male shiny Salandits, and today there was just nothing.

I now have enough for a full party of shiny male Salandits.

3 shiny Salandits in one day, making 5 in total!  Too bad all of them are males.

Didn't take too long to find a fourth shiny Salandit!  Still male tho
