Flannery's B2/W2 World Tour sprite and Falkner's GH/SS sprite have always been my main. Falkner because for a period I had a similar hairstyle (minus the colour of course), and Flannery becase she's hawt. Admittedly, my reasoning on this isn't even close to ours, but eh, I never put so much thought into this... I did create a Custom Trainer Sprites Folder back in my PO days as Tears of tomorrow tho. I remember it being a big hit on the beta.

Oh please, don't mention Electric/Dark in my presence. I am still mad that Luxrai didn't get that typing despite having the looks and the movepool. Also, I want a Dragon/Fighting Pokemon. Fire/Fairy and Ghost/Fairy would be cool, the former could even be next gen's starter...

Between the removal/overcomplication of useful Pokemon events and the new, ground-breaking (literally!) stuff, sometimes I wonder if Ame's true mission is to make Pokefans' life as miserable as possible...

I am not celebrating Halloween because, on that very day, I will return from Bologna (where I live to attend university) to my hometown, because I have promised my grandpa that I will spend the next day (the first of november is an important religious festivity for catholics, at least in Italy) with him. So yeah, from Bologna to my hometown it's like 3 hours by train and I have to change trains at one point: when I get home I'll be so tired I'll probably just collapse on the nearest couch and fall asleep immediately... The only redeeming thing that night has for me is that, when I am at my parents' house in my hometown, there is this little girl (she is like 5) who lives next door who is the cutest thing in the universe. She is so incredibly energetic and funny, I absolutely adore her, I consider her to be a little sister or maybe even a daughter (I am almost 24, I've got the age difference down, her parents are only 6 years older than me...) and I can't help but enjoy the merriment everytime she drops by... So yeah, she will probably dress up and come ringing the bell for candies, and it will be a happy moment, also because my mom always spoils her to no end, so really funny scenes often happen between my mom and this little girl's mom (who already has a hard time keeping her overly energetic daughter in check, without the need for my mom to spoil her even more...).

Interesting question. If I understand Weather Ball's wording correctly, its type changes as soon as a weather is set. In other words, if you sen Glalie out in the battlefield, and there is already a Sunny Day active, Weather Ball will instantly become a Fire-type move. So Refrigerate shouldn't affect it on the account of it already being of the Fire type, and not of the Normal type. This of course applies to all other weather conditions. However, Refrigerate should affect Weather Ball outside of weather conditions, turning it into a 50 BP Ice-type move...

Major update involving my team-to-be: I am currently using this Trick Room team in Showdown's RU, that I am really really enjoying. So much so in fact, that I have decided to use it in this RP as well (also because a relatively obscure, yet trollish strategy like Trick Room is rather fitting of Mao's personality). So, the team I run on Showdown wouldn't be possible to use in this roleplay (it includes Pokemon that use Explosion, Pokemon that are plain ugly, and even a legendary), so I gave it some thought, and I came up with a team that can work similarly (at least in roleplay environment, where one can be creative when describing one's action) while at the same time fitting Mao's theme. In the end, I came up with this: Granbull Cofagrigus Chesnaught Beeheyem Rhyperior Milotic Buneary/Lopunny would STILL be in the team, STILL being the main Pokemon in terms of character development, acting as my future Mega: she, along with 3 other Pokemon I still haven't come up with, would act as a 4-Pokemon core of faster Pokemon that Mao would sometimes swap in for the ones that rely more heavily on Trick Room, in order to have access to a non-Trick Room strategy if/when needed. As a result of these changes, I won't need Fennekin and Pawniard (the "omg everyone has a Bisharp" people will be happy ) anymore in my initial team: if possible, I would like to request permission to edit my app, swapping in Chespin over Fennekin and Elgyem over Pawniard. Please @Chimchain let me know if all this is ok for you! Incidentally: using entry hazards and phazing is ok, right?

Long time no see, Acqui You know, I really like this idea, and I can really relate to the "must write, cannot publish" problem of yours (I went through a similar problem, with two long-term fanfiction projects of mine naufragating because of it ;-; ). So yeah, you have all my support, my sympathy and my respect for coming up with this idea. Incidentally, I had come up with an idea a while ago which is quite similar to this one, except it is totally different: would you be willing to discuss it some time in the future? I could use some help refining it...

I swear to God it was a coincidence (never actually watched that season of Pokemon anime). Check out the real Mao (as in, the character I took the faceclaim from, Mao from Disgaea 3) and you'll realize that's the one I took inspiration from... But now that you mention it, there are many similarities between the two! ... Well, except the degree to which their "pervy-ness" is brought up and made fun of: Pokemon anime is still aimed at little kids, so I doubt Conway was ever called "hentai" in 3 different occasions in the jap version, like Mao was in Disgaea 3...

The last version marks a great improvement. And the yellow shiny looks better IMO, the palette used is smoother, and the shadings are better...

No no you got me wrong: I am not saying actual gameplay shouldn't be taken into account when teambuilding (hell, it would be a pretty silly thing to say), I am simply saying that, when I "take actual gameplay into account", that is usually limited to just the moves it would be logically optimal for most opponent to do. Trying to predict illogic moves is quite frustrating and can lead to overthinking, on the account that illogic moves are unpredictable by definition... Incidentally, this is what makes this a game: I mean, if only the logically impeccable moves were permitted, then there would be no need for a human player, a computer could simply be programmed to pit two teams against one another, calculate the strategies and the switches each team would pull, and declare the winner. A good player is a player who knows when it's time to dare thinking outside the box and pulling unpredictable tactics, which is why I never insult people for pulling stunts like the one you described involving Jellicent (even if I of course get mad at the most outrageous ones, like the Thunder in Sun thing above, I just don't vent my frustration by insulting opponents). So yeah, my point in the end is: it is a good thing (and indeed, a necessity) to try and get prepared for a wide array of situations when teambuilding, but you cannot possibly be prepared for everything... But I am fraid we are digressing a bit too much now

The rainbow effect on the shiny version is a bitt "stiff", if you get what I mean...
