Sorry :x On that note, as I've mentioned before, I'm entering a boarding school, and thus will be unable to continue modding this RP. It's been fun to see all your characters, as well as to keep trying to think of ways to deal with the situations you guys throw at me, but I must, regrettably, step down for now. Henceforth, Hukuna and Kaito shall be the mods for the Pokemon Aftermath RP. So it has been declared, so shall it be. Please continue to work with them, and bring this story to its final conclusion. Flux: As you may be aware, I am moving to a boarding school come Thursday, meaning I will have very limited internet access. Accordingly, it will be difficult for me to actively participate in the RP, so I have to pull out. However, I /really/ don't want Eleri to die :x Could you take her on as an NPC? If not, just have her disappear when the group splits up after a raid or something. (I reserve the right to reclaim her once things calm down and/or I find a way to get net access :x

Alright Covert Ops thread is up. Sorry it took so long QQ @Jory, I'm going to have to leave you hanging for a bit because I'll be handing over the reins to Hukuna on Thursday, and it might be awkward to have to RP fight 2 people controlling the same NPC. i.e. difference in writing styles etc.

Silver stands before you, arms crossed, a grimace clearly evident on his face. "First of all, welcome to the covert ops division of Team Dusk. This team will handle secondary operations in support of the main team. The objective of this squad is to eliminate obstacles for the main team, while remaining quiet to mislead the Church. Now. While I would like to give you time to get to know each other, we already have a problem." He gestures towards the screen in the middle of the room, causing it to display a visual image of a room. Within this room, stands a number of individuals, all separated from each other by what seems to be beams of light. "The main squad has made contact with Gardenia. Unfortunately, she has trapped them in a prison of light, forcing them to face her one at a time. With our current strength, this is - regrettably - impossible." He waves at the screen, producing an image of a large building, clearly industrial in nature. "White, head of tech support, managed to trace the flow of the energy powering the light prison to this external generator, outside the city." The image rotates, and is replaced by a three-dimensional cross-section of the building's schematics. "The generator is three stories high, with the power source of the light prison on the highest floor. Each floor will be heavily guarded by both trainers and security systems. Each floor has a plethora of automated defences, in addition to elite patrolling trainers. Each floor has a central power chamber which coordinates the defences; if you can somehow cut off the signal, you should be able to avoid drones for that floor. The key here is to avoid detection. If the main control is made aware of your presence, a lockdown will almost certainly be initiated. While this would cause the power supply to the main grid to run dry eventually, it would alert Gardenia to your presence, and it would render extraction near impossible. The mission here is to eliminate the power source for the prison by any means necessary, to give the main team a fighting chance against Gardenia." Silver nods once, and the display turns blank. "Unfortunately, I can't join you; I'm urgently needed in Johto. But I'll teleport you to the generator. This is your show; methods don't matter. Just get the results." Silver releases an Alakazam from a Pokeball. The Alakazam waves its spoons around, and you find yourself engulfed in purple light. ------------------------------------------------------------- Note: This thread is intended to be for all the people who joined the RP after the main story began. Wow, I can't believe we're on post #801 O.O Anyway, be patient, there's something coming up that all the new people can participate in

"Hm." Gardenia returned Venusaur to its Pokeball, and placed it in the healing machine by her side. "There is no joy in killing a dispirited opponent. Well then, who's next?"

I don't have much time left before I have to stop coming on here, but I'd love to bounce plot ideas off you if you've got the time (and patience)

"Venusaur, Hydro Pump!" The green behemoth loosed a torrent of water from it's flower, dousing the fiery spiral and generating copious amounts of steam. "Now, Vine Whip the ground!" The Venusaur promptly obeyed, pushing itself off the ground and hurtling towards the recovering Houndoom. "Grapple it!" Six vines shot out from under the large Pokemon's flower as it flew past the Houndoom, wrapping themselves around the Houndoom. "End it." The Venusaur corrected its course, landing firmly on the ground and skidding to a halt. Driven by inertia, the still-entangled Houndoom slammed into the ground. The Venusaur raised the Houndoom into the air, then slammed it down again. And again. And again. Finally, it picked up the Houndoom and threw it at Lupus.

Yeah, it took the fire fang. I assume Houndoom used the attack just before it landed, since it might be kind of difficult to maneuver one's mouth when one is being pinned by a giant Venusaur.

As the Venusaur lands, the impact sends out vibrations through the ground, triggering an Earthquake attack, directly below the pinned Houndoom.

"Hm. Interesting. Well, I can't exactly have Venusaur changing direction mid-Bounce... Venusaur, grin and bear it." The Venusaur roars in agony as it plunges through the cloud of flames. Emerging on the other side, its leaves are singed and its flower alight with slight embers. Unslowed by the attack, it hurtles towards the temporarily-immobile Houndoom.
