  1. Lily pinpointed the source of the psychic strike, locating it about 384m northwest. She glanced down at the human and sent a cold warning. "Protect Amarantha. If she dies, you die." She braced herself against the ground and launched herself at her unseen opponent.
  2. Lily turned her attention to the psionic presence. It was taunting her, challenging her. She again shouted out a telepathic challenge. "You. Out there. Stop hiding and face me. Face me! Come!" She focused and projected out a multitude of barriers, layering one over another, creating a phalanx of psychic energy. "COME!"
  3. Eleriese raised her hand, doing a slight twirl. "Me~I'll take second watch. It's quieter~"
  4. ._. Is Olrien really a knight or is he just a brew master in disguise
  5. Eleriese smiled as Gillem thanked her. "No worries; I'm a noncombatant. Have to help somehow." She circled around and observed the carnage surrounding the band. "Anyway, I doubt we'll be getting any sleep. Do you guys want to keep moving, or should we break out the ale?"
  6. Lily stroked the head of the nestling Togepi. Such cuteness was hard to come by, especially in the dark, bleak, grey world into which she had been thrust. She felt an unexplainable urge to keep the little pokemon safe and protected. At that moment, a low hum entered the sphere of her psyche. Clamping down on the intrusion, she stopped it from probing deep. As she prepared to trace it back to its source, the psychic link abruptly shut off. A psychic intruder. Lily hummed in anticipation.
  7. "Hey, Amarantha. Nobody in particular. Just...you know that wind a while back? It definitely wasn't natural. Someone created it. I'm just challenging it to a duel." Lily picked up the Togepi in her arms and hugged her. "Nothing to worry about, you cute little thing."
  8. Eleriese looked around the battlefield. The movements of the others were slowing down. Fatigue and injury. These were going to get them killed. A rejuvenation dance, then. Moving her feet swiftly, she began an electrifying, energetic dance, comprised of sharp movements and rapid transitions.
  9. Gardevoir sat cross-legged at the door of the building in a meditative stance. Closing her eyes, she surrounded herself in a protective barrier of psychic energy, then cast her consciousness outwards. As she searched the surrounding area, she noticed an undercurrent of fear permeating the area. When she felt the strange wind, through her barrier, her marrow chilled. This wind was unnatural. Immediately she was filled with fear. Then anticipation. Anticipation of a strong opponent. She broadcasted a single message. "Well then. I know you're out there. Let's dance."
  10. Lily considered for a moment. On the one hand, she was amused that the human,Gale, entertained the thought of using her as a guard. She may live for the battle, but there was hardly any honour in trouncing weaker, unorganized Pokemon like the kind which likely attempted to attack him. On the other hand, the togepi was asking for help. And the togepi was too cute for words. She struggled with this dilemma, weighing her personal values against the request of a cute girl... She eventually gave in to the cuteness. "Gale. I accept your request. I will guard you. However, know that I do this not for you, but for little Amarantha.
  11. Lily's gaze hardened. "You just tried lying to a telepathic Pokemon. Are you stupid?" She took Two steps towards Gale. "In any case, I'm not interested in your food. First off, my name is Lily. Secondly, you tried to capture and enslave me. For what purpose? I recommend being truthful"
  12. "Halt, human." Lily turned her attention toward the human. She sensed a sort of pride from him, a sort of dignity. "You may be weak, but you have a warrior's bearing. What is your name?"
  13. The Togepi had sass. Cute and sassy. What more could a girl ask for? "Oh, not much, really; just having to cope with the fact that my whole family pretty much just up and disappeared on me, and I have no idea where they could possibly be. Not a nice feeling."
  14. Lily giggled. "What are you talking about? Every warrior knows it's only good manners to greet another with a test of strength! Hah!" Lily punched the air in front of her, working her way through a simple combo of straight hooks and uppercuts against an unseen opponent. "When your fists connect, so do your hearts! Only by going all out and making sure your opponent goes all out, can the two individuals understand each other! Only when we understand each other, can true bonds of friendship and blood be forged!" Lily ceased her pantomime and leaned in close to the Togepi. "Do you understand now, little Pokemon? Battle is life! Battle is friendship! Battle is honour!" Lily stepped back and straightened her dress. "Also, the stress I've been under because of all the changes made me want to kick something. But that's irrelevant."
  15. Lily noticed the tiny Togepi coming up to her. She sensed a slight twitch of hostility in the air. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold up there, girl. I was just giving a friendly greeting. He's the one who decided to try and lock me inside one of those disgusting little devices."
  16. Any backup servers up?

  17. Lily sighed in disappointment. So the humans who wanted her dead apparently had no fighting capability whatsoever. What a letdown. At that moment, intense greed and anticipation filled the air. Sharpening her mind, Lily detected the source of these ugly emotions to be the human in front of her. As she looked carefully, she noticed the Great Ball in the human's hand. Rage instantly flared up within her. Reaching out, she telekinetically crushed the sphere, causing it to collapse in on itself. She established a direct telepathic link to the mind of the human, allowing her to broadcast her thoughts. "I strongly suggest that you don't try that again."
  18. Lily was pissed off. The building upon which she had constructed her shelter had disappeared. Like, literally disappeared. One minute it was there, the next, empty space, leaving her irritable and floating in midair. "Really. Really. Why in Arceus' name do things have a habit of disappearing these days." She hovered around, searching for a suitable new staging area, her eyes alighting upon a building, which had an inexplicably flat, blue roof. It was nowhere near as tall as the one she had -until recently- been living atop, but hey. It was blue. Blue was pretty. Blue made everything better. Landing atop the new blue roof, she detected several new emotions in her immediate vicinity. Happiness...and...comfort...? Those were two emotions she had not felt in a long time. She peered over the edge of the building. At the entrance to the blue-roofed-building, there was a human male, carrying what appeared to be a Togepi. Immediately she became on guard. The memory of the humans' open hostility towards her was fresh in her mind. That said...she wondered how one would fare in a straight-up fight... If she had lips, she would have smiled. Launching herself off the roof, she hovered in the air, telekinetically condensing the air around her right leg. Then, by releasing her gravitational control, she allowed herself to plummet, footfirst, toward the human.
  19. Elf, Gender-ambiguous, Magical, spunky, 11/10 would bang if it was a girl.

Ame for making this game (which I still haven't gotten round to playing beyond chapter 3 QQ) and the sprite shop and all the cool things like leader profiles So many more who have been kind to me at some point or another, helping me feel more welcomed and accepted within this community.
  21. Well. Since I have a bit of free time now (once a day), I'll be jumping in ^^ (if that's okay with you, murdoc). Name: Lily Species: Gardevoir, F Age: 36 Appearance: Exactly like an ordinary Gardevoir, but her skirt has 2 openings: one in front, as per usual, and one in the back of an equal length. Personality Overview: Blunt, honest, easily offended, volatile. Backstory: All her life, Lily wanted only one thing: She wanted to fight. She wanted to feel the sensation of her fists and feet impacting against an opponent. As a young Ralts, even at the stage where she was but a baby, driven only by pure emotions from around her, she would seek out emotions of exhilaration and excitement, rather than the emotions of joy or kindness which other Ralts naturally gravitated toward. As a Kirlia, after finishing her daily Psychic practice, she would go and peek at the male Kirlias who were training in physical skills. Unfortunately, due to the unusual -and, frankly speaking, unfair- nature of evolution in her species, her greatest desire was one destined to go unfulfilled. Only males could evolve into Gallades. All female Kirlias would eventually evolve into Gardevoirs. While her male classmates each went up to the enshrined Dawn Stone and touched it, evolving into Gallades, she could only watch on in envy. She even tried sneaking up to the Stone and touching it as well; naturally, nothing happened. Finally, the day came when she evolved into a Gardevoir. She hated her adult body. The long, slender fingers were useless for tossing punches, and her thin, sticklike feet were unsuitable for delivering kicks. The first time she tried, she tripped over her ridiculous, impractical skirt. She got so frustrated that she telepathically (and painfully)tore her own skirt in half along the back, allowing greater movement. Over time, she got used to her new body and her new abilities, learning to use her psychic abilities as well as others of her species, while still harbouring a deep regret and a slight resentment for not being able to pursue her dream. One day, on her 36th Birthday, the Cataclysm occurred. One minute she was celebrating with a group of friends from her village. The next, she found herself in the middle of a vast maze of tall, grey buildings. Her friends and her village were nowhere to be found. While suffering from disorientation, a series of bright lights suddenly shone down on her: a group of humans with these devices that created light were coming towards her. Intuitively, she felt the mood of the humans change from puzzlement, to fear, to hate, and finally to rage. It was the last emotion which alerted her to the danger. She immediately projected a Reflect between herself and the humans, then turned her telekinesis on herself, propelling her away and upwards. She alighted atop one of the strange, gray buildings(which, for some unfathomable reason, had a flat roof) and decided to get her bearings. Reaching out telepathically, she located several other Pokemon nearby, all experiencing emotions of fear. Choosing not to make contact with them, she stopped her probe and took stock of her situation. Her friends were gone. Her family was gone. Her village was gone. She was alone, in a strange place, with humans that, for some reason, hated her. That was a pretty bad situation to be in. Thunder clouds began to gather above, signalling a coming downpour. Lily, preferring not to stand out in the rain, ran over to the opposite side of the rooftop, where a pile of metal slabs were strewn about, and used Psychic to move them into a makeshift hovel, cursing the fact that she could not do so with her own hands. Finally, she entered her new shelter and rested. Over the next few days, the shelter became her home as she gathered her strength, collecting rations and familiarising herself with the land. All the while, though, she bore in the back of her mind a constant, quiet resolution to set out on a search for the rest of her family. After all, who knows? Maybe a tough, solo journey would be enough to assure herself that even though she had the body of a Gardevoir, she was a fighter at heart. Just maybe.
  22. Hey guys. Good news: through the wonders of modern technology(possessing a smartphone) I am now able to come online to the forums. Unfortunately, in between the daily schedule and the nightly sex, I'm only able to come on like once a day, for like an hour. What this means is, I can now participate in RPs, though I'm still not going to be online enough to resume the hosting of aftermath. That said, I may be rejoining other RPs as a not-so-active RPer, which should work out given the pacing of the RPing on this forum.
