  1. 10. Forretress - My wall, my wall. One of the only defensive Pokemon I ever use. I've loved him ever since Pokemon Silver, my first Pokemon game. 9. Scolipede - Reborn made me realize my love for this guy. The first shiny I caught in Reborn was a Venipede that turned into the beauty that is shiny Scolipede. He's not half bad in battle either. 8. Shedinja - I've always thought Shedinja was one of the coolest Pokemon, both in design and ability. It's a shame that he has so many weaknesses, or he could actually be usable. 7. Muk - This guy NEEDS MOAR LOVE. I feel like I'm the only guy around here who likes Muk enough to throw him in my top ten, at number 7 no less. I don't know what it is about him, but I like him. 6. Caterpie - Whenever I think of Pokemon, Caterpie is the first thing that pops into my head, no lie. I love its design, and its just a classic. 5. Abra - It's so CUTE. I don't normally say things like that, but Abra is amazing. I want one as a pet. :3 4. Noivern - The pinnacle of Gen 6, right here. Amazing design, ranking it easily as my favorite dragon, and my 4th favorite overall. 3. Nidoking - Nidoking just exudes toughness. It looks like it could rip off your head with its bare hands, and it probably could. 2. Aggron - It's like Nidoking, but metal! Anyone who was around the RP section when I joined probably got a good glimpse of my love for this guy. He's just ever so narrowly beat by... 1. Cyndaquil - My all-time favorite right here. It was my first starter ever, and I gave it an everstone because I didn't want it to evolve. (Gets progressively uglier imo. Quilava's still cool, but I don't like Typhlosion a whole lot...) Besides that, it was also my first level 100 ever (In Pokemon Silver, and that is a PAIN to do) and it's got a wonderful design. Cyndaquil 4 life.
  2. Flux sighed as the rubble fell, holding his arms up in a helpless gesture and giving a smile. "Well, I don't suppose we have any way to contact headquarters, do we? Rather than smashing our way out of here, we might be able to get out just as we came in -- that is, we could be teleported. We're hardly covert anymore, and we've accomplished our task, so all that's left is to get hold of HQ and get out."
  3. I'll see if I can get something up for Anver in the next update. Same goes for Viktor.
  4. ^I honestly thought about SotC quite a bit for this. It is my all time favorite game, after all. The world's beautiful, and I love the colossi but there's no way back out of the forbidden lands since the bridge got destroyed... I think that'd be a bit lonely after a while.
  5. Supernovae "I fear you're another lost soul who does not know of my work. Surrender now and help me locate the girl and I'll allow you to live. I have no desire to spill sacred blood. But, remember this will be you're last warning. They call me God's right hand for a reason, a reason I fear you would not enjoy learning about." The man grimaced. He was clearly in pain from the shoulder wound, but he still managed a small grin. "Listen, here. It's my job to keep that girl here. I don't know what kind of crazy ideas you have cooked up in that head of yours, but I have a job to do, and I'm going to do it. If that means I have to put you down, then so be it." With that, he dashed towards Jude, fist pulled back in preparation for a punch. --------------------------------------------- Jory, rustytengo "Tell me everything you know about The Pillar and the government's reaction to its appearance. You have ten minutes," The man's face took on a confused look. "I was just going to show you--" He was cut off as Beverly adjusted his memories, changing them into what they would need. "Oh yes, I brought you here to tell you about the Pillar. Of course." He cleared his throat. "I myself don't know a whole lot, being overall second in command and head of the arms division. Ms. Archer and the research division would know the most about the Pillar. However, I do know that even they haven't discovered much about the Pillar. We still don't know where the light it emits comes from, or why it's here. We don't know how long the Pillar's been beneath the earth, though that's one of the primary matters we're trying to solve. People are developing powers, but we don't know why. Some of them have shown up around the walls, seemingly mindless, their brains destroyed by the intensity of their ability. They push at the walls, aiming for the Pillar, but they don't speak at all. We're forced to restrain these people and lock them away for the safety of the public streets. It's really very strange." He shook his head, a bit of his old self resurfacing. "...Why did you need to know this again? Sorry, I can't seem to remember..." -------------------------------------------------- Arkhidon Hades led the way through the corridor, until they came to a closed door. It would be the first of the two circular areas on the map. There was a small window built into the door, and looking through, two men were visible. They were talking to each other, and both were armed with what looked like assault rifles. There were two more doors on either side of the room, just as Keaton's map had shown. They each had a small window of their own, though it was impossible to tell what was behind them from this distance and angle. Hades stepped away from the window before the men turned and saw him. "What do you think Keaton? Two men and two doors. There's a chance that there are more members of this gang behind those doors, but then again, they could just be storage rooms. Any thoughts?"
  6. Happy Thanksgiving! Keep watch for Turkey Claus!

  7. Maybe try changing Clamperl's "pearl" part to the color of Shellder's tongue? I'm not sure if it'd be better or worse, but these all look pretty good anyway.
  8. ^Sounds kind of like Psyren, which I would personally recommend as a manga. It's about people who find red phone cards labeled "Psyren," and when they use them at a phone booth, they are teleported away by an entity known as Nemesis Q. They find themselves in a post apocalyptic world, where the surviving people all have some kind of "psionic power." Those who found the phone cards find themselves developing these same powers, and their goal is to reach checkpoints in order to return to the real world until Nemesis Q calls upon them again. It sounds complicated, but I thought it was really interesting.
  9. Lars turned to Jory as they left. "I'll stay behind with Logan. We can't just leave him alone, and Sleepy can get us back to the group faster than anything else when he's finished here. That is, if you don't have an objection."
  10. Tfw you have to scrape the ice off the INSIDE of your car.

      Wisconsin for me, but yeah.

  11. Well, with the addition of Nemir, it seems that good old Professor Flux will no longer be the oldest character. Good bye, old age jokes.
  12. "I'll do what I can," Nero answered bluntly. "My invisibility only works on myself, at least for now..." he muttered. "I... acquired that ability rather recently. I have a few other tricks that I can use for the group." He fell silent again, waiting for the others, and thinking of what he could do for the group. It would be tricky with so many of them, but not impossible.
  13. I honestly find the combat to be one of the most fun experiences in the game, despite its slowness. I've played fast, action-oriented games such as Devil May Cry 3, and I really enjoyed that game, but Dark Souls is fun in a different way. Knowing that almost any attack could either kill you or set you up to be killed really adds an intensity to the battle, and it's really satisfying when you learn how to dodge the attacks and fight back. It's definitely one of my favorite games, for both combat, lore, and the atmosphere and aesthetic look to the areas.
  14. Well, I just saw Notus's status and learned that I'm the only covert ops member without Ace Membership... Such sad. But yeah, this was my first RP as well. It really takes me back to look at those first posts I made.
  15. There's too many... QQ I think if I had to pick one character overall to be my favorite, it'd have to be Dante from Devil May Cry. He's got an awesome design, in both looks and personality, and the backstory between Dante and Vergil isn't half bad, if a little cliche. Other favorites of mine are Wander from Shadow of the Colossus, Kratos from Tales of Symphonia, Jecht from Final Fantasy 10, Stahl from Fire Emblem Awakening, and Navarre from Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon.
  16. Shoot. I was really hoping to see "Don't Speak Her Name!" from FE:A in the Wii U version. Oh well...
  17. This. So true. I wanted to see so much more of the SAO world, but they blew through it all in 15 episodes (If I remember that number right.) I actually liked that part... QQ
  18. Nero frowned. So there were that many outside... As an illusionist, escape would be right up his ally. If he was clever, he could probably sneak right out if it were just him... However, he wasn't the only one here. The rest of the group would likely need his abilities if they were to all make it out. He sighed, placing his hands in his pockets as he waited. He was used to just looking out for himself, but it seemed that things were about to change.
  19. Okie dokie. I'm still here, and I'll try to get a post in sometime soonish. We really should get word out to find some new people interested in this too. Most of the original members seem to have either left the forums or forgotten about this, so new blood would be great to keep things moving.
  20. Nero sat on the bed in his room, eyes closed and arms folded as he listened to the events outside. He'd been awake for a while now, though he hadn't left the room. He'd been thinking back to his childhood days, when he would run around the manor before his mother would find him and scold him with a smile. She had always been sickly, so he didn't get to see her much, and he realized now that his running around must have been a pain on her. Nero stood slowly as Marcus called through the halls, having already known that they'd have to take action at some point, but being unwilling to be the first response. He strode towards the door, walking down the hall to meet with the others without any particular haste.
  21. I keep hearing a sound that sounds kind of like a cat and kind of like a Latias outside my window, but I can't find whatever's making it...
