  1. There's also the fact that you kind of blinded the Steelix... Not sure how useful it was gonna be if it even survived everything you guys did. Also, I'm not sure if he 50 wins thing is still a thing. That was mentioned before my time, and I was around close to the beginning of this RP. I'd assume it's until the host says we get another, which I imagine won't be for a long while if ever. (I actually wouldn't mind just sticking with one a piece the whole way. It keeps PCs unique and provokes caution in your battles, something I feel is good in a dystopian setting.)
  2. Merry piano Christmas. I'm attempting to learn this, but idk if it'll happen. He's too good. Maybe I'll have it down by next Christmas so I can post my own cover for you.
  3. {Flux and Commander} Flux returned the heavy ball to his coat as the Crobat's trainer stepped out from the trees. He recognized the man from earlier, back at the base, though he did not recall his name. "Have you seen any of the others?" Flux shook his head. "I was with Fria until a short while ago. We were looking for the others, but unknowingly walked into a group of around 20 acolytes approaching the cabin back there. She ran off to distract them, despite my protests. I was told that she would meet me here." He shrugged. "I'm confident that she'll make it. She's a strong woman, and she knows these parts better than anyone else." He stopped. "And what about you? I don't believe we've been introduced. I'm Professor Flux, though you can simply call me by my name. Titles get weary after a time."
  4. What brought this up? Wanting Keaton to die or something? Also, I don't see why Hukuna's PC would kill Keaton in the first place. They're on the same side... >.>
  5. Flux stopped in the clearing. He looked up at the Crobat that had been following him. He'd noticed it a while back, though he had hidden that fact, preferring to let whoever was following think he was oblivious. Now that he was in the open, though, things were a different matter. He was confidant that the Crobat would be no match for Ogre if it came to that, especially in this open area. "Whoever is following me, now would be the time to either show yourself or flee." As he watched the treeline behind him, his thoughts turned to Fria. She had said she would meet him here, and there was no sign of her yet. That was to be expected, as she had been behind him. Perhaps the Crobat was hers, sent to keep tabs on him or perhaps guide him to this place. Still, he couldn't deny the possibility that it was a threat, perhaps leading the acolytes right to him. His hand reached inside his coat, removing the heavy ball from the pocket, just in case he needed it.
  6. Hukuna The woman led Viktor out the door and across the walkway to the adjoining building, headquarters of BOA. The passed through the main entrance and lobby, taking an elevator to the uppermost floor. Viktor was back in the same hallway as he had been in the previous day, whn he had first joined Olympus. The glass walls on either side of the hallway looked out over the city, now drenched in the dark of night rather than the sunlight of before. The woman who had led Viktor this far, gave a short bow, returning to the elevator and leaving Viktor alone with the door to miss Archer's room. After knocking, a Ms. Archer's voice could be heard from the inside. "Enter." She was seated at her desk, hands clasped in front of her. Just as last time Viktor had been here, there was a large stack of papers to one side of her. She looked tired. There were lines forming under her eyes, and her bun was coming undone. "Viktor Grimes, the newest member of Olympus. You were attending the dinner party at Mr. Taylor's estate during the attack. Correct?" She sighed. She didn't appear upset or worried, but rather tired and downtrodden. "Tell me what happened, from your point of view." ---------------------------------------------------------------- Arkhidon The man glanced at Keaton as he entered the room. It was hard to tell what he was thinking, as the sunglasses obscured his eyes, along with the darkness. One could only wonder why a man would be wearing sunglasses indoors, much less when the lights were out. It was Hades who made the first move. He rushed at the man, extending his right arm for a grab. The man sidestepped, bringing his own right arm down towards Hades. Hades rolled to the side, but the man continued the motion, placing his palm on the floor. The instant that the floor made contact with his palm, a deafening explosion occurred. Flames flickered as they died on the stone floor, but smoke obscured Keaton's view. When it cleared, Hades was standing in a relaxed position, his back angled towards Keaton. He appeared unscathed by the explosion. Even his white coat was uncharred by the flames The other man had a more aggressive stance, arms outstretched and ready to take motion. Neither of them moved, each for their own reasons. They both glanced at Keaton, who stood a short distance away with his weapon.
  7. Hopefully I can remember to show up for this. King's game sounds like fun... Though I don't think I'll be nominating anybody either, as I wouldn't know who to nominate...
  8. Just want to say I support this very much.
  9. No. NO. At least, not for me. I got that horrible glitch that apparently will affect random trainers in the game, and of all people, it was the GYM LEADER. Basically, whenever I tried to switch out, Shelly would also automatically switch, which made countering her mons very difficult. I ended up having to Gyarados sweep her. Don't hit me. Anyway, welcome aboard and enjoy your stay. You mentioned Shelly which brought back those terrible memories for me. With that glitch at her side, she was the most challenging battle I've had yet.
  10. Joke threads, huh? I might have to make one of those...
  11. Where'd the "Development" section go?

    1. Tacos

      Tacos

      In Reborn City.

    2. Flux

      Flux

      Ah, thanks. Didn't see that.

  12. I don't really know where Flux is going, so I'll leave that up to you Notus.
  13. {Flux and Fria} Flux sighed. She was stubborn all right, but who was he to talk? He could be just as stubborn himself... He thought about staying and helping, but decided against it. He'd probably just get in the way of whatever she had planned. He would use the opportunity she gave him, whether he had agreed to the plan or not. "You'd better not die..." he whispered with a hint of a smile as he ran past the cabin under the cover of the blizzard. "There'll be hell to pay if you do."
  14. "If worse comes to worst I can try to distract them and you go on. What do you think?" Flux scoffed. "And what kind of man would I be if I let a fine lady like yourself do that? No, if it comes to that, I'll be the distraction so you can escape." He paused, a thoughtful look on his face. "But you think the others might be in there? I was having similar thoughts... It is likely, but we can't rely on that factor." His face darkened. "It honestly might be best if we simply let them attack the cabin... We could use the opportunity to sneak past. And if it is indeed our group that is inside, we could initiate a sneak attack from behind when the inevitable battle begins." He sighed. There really wasn't any optimal option in this situation. They'd just have to make do...
  15. "Jeez, so many... And moving like that, they're going to assault that cabin. Any plan Flux?" Flux frowned. The cabin... Why are they approaching the cabin? He turned to Fria. "Does somebody important live here?" he whispered. "Why would the acolytes attack a random cabin?" He glanced around, already thinking of options in the split second that he waited for her answer. We can't assume we have allies in the cabin, despite the likeliness of that factor. If we rely on that and it proves false, we're finished. I doubt we can reason with the acolytes like we did with the Abomasnow... If we're to stand a chance at winning this, we need to split them up.
  16. Arkhidon Hades ran over to the last guard as he recovered, quickly placing his right hand on the man and releasing his power. The man slumped back to the floor, and Hades walked to stand next to Keaton. "Looks like you've discovered you're limit," he said, leaning down next to Keaton's ear. "It's to be expected. All power comes at a price..." He then laughed, walking into the final room. "One, left!" he called back. "Join me when you feel up to it..." As Hades entered the room, the other man descended from the staircase at the back wall. He wore a white jacket and pants with white gloves, and his blonde hair was slicked back. His eyes were hidden behind a pair of sunglasses, and his cleanly-shaven face was calm. "So, you managed to take them all out," the man said, tugging one of his gloves tight onto his hand. "Impressive. I didn't expect you to get this far." He showed a hint of a smile. "However, you won't get past here." Hades simply laughed. "Pffft. Of course we won't. There's a wall behind you. We'll just go back the way we came when we're done here." The man smiled. "So be it." --------------------------------------------------------- Hukuna Zeus sat in the lounge back at Olympus, bandaging the wound on his shoulder. Poseidon had left already, saying he had "business to attend to." The was a knock on the door from outside, and a woman with a clipboard entered shortly after. "Ms. Archer would like a report," the woman stated. Zeus nodded, motioning that she could leave. He looked up to Viktor. "Sorry about this, but could you give the report?" He sighed. "As an unfortunate cost from using my ability that much, I don't think I'll feel up to moving for a while. I suspect Poseidon went home to rest as well." He smiled lightly. "It's nothing too bad. She'll likely just ask you for a recap of what happened. If you don't remember the way, just follow that young woman that was just here. Just make sure you knock. She hates it when you don't..."
  17. Well, we might have to go with that, considering how powerful you guys are XD. We have time before a final decision on that matter needs to be made though. Chapter 2 will probably be when the first real PC vs PC action happens.
  18. ((I don't know about that. Lars is pretttty derpy...)) "A battle?" Lars asked as they moved. "I thought the our squad and that other team were the only ones here... Who else could it be?"
  19. Ah, ok. And that part about PC conflict is directed at pretty much all characters, though it would be a lot more dangerous of a situation for characters like Keaton and Beverly. Viktor vs Anver, for example, would probably end in a draw if neither had the element of surprise. Viktor could cause a heart attack, but Anver could still probably fry him before he died... It makes things tricky to set up as a host, unless we want half the PCs dead.
  20. Well, I'm going to change my member title now, but I'm not sure what to change it to...
