  1. I don't think I've ever actually posted my information here, but here it is. Steam ID: Fluxator (As of writing this, I'm the only Fluxator on Steam, so finding me should be easy. I have a lot of games, but I'll list the notable multiplayer ones.) Brawlhalla Counter Strike: Global Offense Dota 2 Castle Crashers Terraria Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition Dark Souls II Killing Floor Portal 2 Rocket League Smite Tera Warframe PlayStation Network ID: EndofLight PS4: Bloodborne Black Ops III (Will probably get Destiny at some point when I get good internet at the new place.) Vita: Soul Sacrifice Sword Art Online: Lost Song Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment Borderlands 2 Wii U: Fluxator Smash 4 Xenoblade Chronicles X Splatoon Monster Hunter 3U I have a 3DS too, but I don't remember my friend code and am too lazy to dig it up right now... PM me if you're interested though. Pokemon X Monster Hunter 3U Monster Hunter 4U Smash 4 (I don't really remember what else I have besides Fire Emblem Awakening, and I don't think that even has multiplayer... It's been too long since I used my 3DS.)

The problem is that I need the computer and the internet to write the paper... so it's right there as a constant temptation. But it's finished now, so we good. \o/

  3. Official Site: http://hr.sao-game.jp/ So I just found out about this game today, and anyone who's seen my status probably knows how excited I am. If you don't already know or can't tell, I'm a huge SAO fan, and Hollow Realization is the fourth Sword Art Online based video game to be released. As of right now, it has a 2016 date for Western releases and will be released on PS4 and PS Vita. Apparently a European trailer said "Fall 2016," but the NA trailer only said 2016. Anyway, It takes place chronologically after Sword Art Online: Lost Song, though you don't really need to play any of the previous games to understand it. The games take a slightly different path than the anime, but there isn't any really overarching story between them as of yet. Hollow Realization takes place in a game called "Sword Art: Origin," which is apparently one of Sword Art Online's early servers. You play as Kirito (I imagine you'll likely be able to change which character you play as in parties, similarly to Lost Song) and work your way through this version of Aincrad. I'm pretty excited for another SAO Aincrad game, as Infinity Moment was only a PSP game, and therefore very limited in what it could do. There's a pretty good article that talks about what we know here: http://gematsu.com/2015/12/sword-art-online-hollow-realization-coming-west-2016 And the official (NA) trailer is here: The gameplay is described as an action RPG, and seems to be sort of a mix between Hollow Fragment's RPG style and Lost Song's action style for those who've played them. A video here shows some of the different skills available in combat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_ELQ-HQbf4 And there's a sample boss battle here: Keep in mind that the game isn't out in Japan yet either, so these are all still in a "beta" state and the game might look and play a bit different when it's released. The world seems pretty big compared to past SAO games. Here's a screenshot of what is called the "Hill/Canyon" area on the official site. As you can tell, it looks pretty big. I'm really hoping that everything we can see here is explorable. The trailer shows some jumping around terrain, so I'd imagine that if you can see it, you can go there. I'm really hoping it's at least semi open world, but we'll see. The environment is pretty nice looking though. Here's another screenshot from the official site, called the "forest" area: Anyway, I'm super excited for this and will most definitely be buying it. Anyone else here who plans to get it? Any thoughts on the game? It appears to be a step up in both gameplay and visuals from past SAO games, and each game has progressively been better than the last in my opinion, so I have high hopes for this.
  4. Heading off to another local this weekend. I'll be entering Melee singles/doubles and Wii U singles/doubles. It'll be interesting to see how things go with Bayonetta and Corrin available now. I haven't actually updated my Wii U with them yet, so I'm planning for the worst. :c Semi-unrelated, this is a clip of what I consider my highlight on stream from my last tournament. It's Project M, so not technically Wii U/3DS, but it was a fairly nice combo. 0-80 Falco combo for anyone interested in watching. He missed a tech in the middle that helped extend things a little longer. Sorry for low-quality too; I had to capture it from my computer's screen with Hypercam, and it caused a pretty big drop in quality. Still easy enough to tell what's happening though. I ended up getting 5th in PM, so it was a pretty good finish overall.
  5. Aaaaaahhhhhhh, I just found out about this and I'm sooooo excited! Here's hoping they've continued their rate of improvement on gameplay:

Judging by these, it looks like they have, too. /me is buying this.

Oh, nice... There's some cool stuff on the official site too. It looks like it's at least partially open-world. The pictures they have for the different areas so far are MASSIVE... I might just make a thread for this, even though others might not care as much as me... http://hr.sao-game.jp/

  8. Pssh, of course your birthday's special. As you're yet another person that everybody except me seems to know well, I'm afraid I can't share any fond memory or anything, but I will wish you the best for your birthday! Hope it ends up being a good one~
  9. Congrats on four years! I've only had limited interaction with you through things like UtH and maybe(?) Aftermath, but you've always seemed like one of the coolest people to know on Reborn, so there's that. I'm also a 19 year old piano player SnK fan, though you'd never catch me singing. Anyway, happy four years, and hopefully you can stick around even longer! Maybe I'll actually get to know you, along with so many of the other people here that I really have no excuse for not talking to more after so long.
  10. SoundCloud likely closing so soon after we get compatibility... It's a shame. This throws a wrench in my OST thread as well...

  12. What specific macros do you want for it? (For example, do you want Y+A mapped to RB? B+A mapped to Y?) Knowing that, I could try to give writing a script a shot for you. I've done it successfully for my own macros, though I'm no master either (and I've never tried with a controller) so I can't make any promises. I'm fairly confident I could figure it out with enough tries though, and once I figure it out, I can try to write up an explanation so you can do it on your own in the future for whatever you might want.
  13. I know it's possible on PC keyboard via macros, and theoretically, you probably should be able to make macros for a controller that's plugged into a PC, but you'll probably need a program of some sort compatible with that. A quick Google search got me to this page: https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/80188-create-a-macro-for-an-xbox-controller-for-pc/ I use autohotkey for my PC macros and can attest that it's perfectly safe and works. This page is a tutorial for setting up macros for controllers using the program, so I'd say that's your best bet. I'd like to look into it more and give a more detailed response, but I have to get to class now. Hopefully this works though. Post a reply here or pm me or whatever if you're having trouble and I'll try to help.
  14. It's been a while, but we're updated with DanMachi OST 1 and 2! I haven't written any descriptions yet, as I'm in a rush at the moment, but I can write them in later. I suppose this is also a good time to ask, does anyone really care about the descriptions? If people read them, I'll be glad to keep writing them, but if not I'm just making extra work for myself. Anyway, the lists are up, so have a listen~
  15. Well, as someone who pretty much only draws inspiration for writing and worldbuilding, I get inspiration from varying sources. Most recently, I got inspiration for a story from an obscure piece of history I found while working on a paper last semester. The history was just the basis for a really small part of my story, but because of that, I was able to create a whole world and a bunch of characters to go with it. But that's kind of an exception case to how I usually work. Usually, I'll just draw a character from scratch and try to think of what kind of world they'd fit in or what kind of story they might be involved in, based purely on appearance and the personality I decide for them. Then I go from there. On occasion I'll be inspired by an anime or other story, some cases being Darker Than Black and Magic: The Gathering.
  16. I'm a rat. I'm not terribly sure on whether this description of the rat is the usual one for the Chinese zodiac, as I've actually seen another description that was almost the complete opposite, but regardless, I don't think I match up with this one very well. It's true that I pretty much get along well with everyone I meet, but I'm not really seeking people out. I'm also not the shrewd businessman that this describes (I procrastinate too much for that). I'm also not a very organized person, and while I do watch my spending, I'm not overly stingy about it. Though I do work hard to enough to succeed in most things I attempt, so it may be correct in part.
  17. Games: I'd have to say Super Smash Bros Melee is probably the thing that relaxes me the most or makes me happy most consistently. Tech skill is like a habit at this point and it's really fun to just sit down and practice some stuff. Other than that, I like to sit down and give Shadow of the Colossus another run every once in a while. It's definitely my favorite single player game and it's really relaxing for me to just ride around the world and look around. Anime: SAO is really good for nostalgia for me, as it was one of the first anime I ever watched. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is the same, and it's also really lighthearted in general. One Punch Man and Seitokai Yakuindomo always make me smile too.
  18. These are really good! Skittylord looks pretty awesome~ I will say that we do have an art thread here: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=145 Though there have been others who have made art showcases in the past, so you might be fine.

  20. I've actually thought about it being the teacher too (Even though I really hope it isn't because he's such a nice guy :c), but I kind of brushed it aside due to a lack of evidence at this point. (Plus the guy we do see in the present doesn't look quite the same as the teacher to me. It could be, but I don't see it.) I do like your hypothesis about the cinematic lines though. I noticed them, but never really gave them much thought. Your last line there is actually a really cool concept. Erased is my favorite anime of the season so far, so I'm really excited to see where things go.
  21. Heyo, Gator. Wait... Gator? *Flashbacks of Don Gator Wars* ...oh wait, that wasn't it... nevermind. Enjoy your stay!
  22. I'e heard that shield dropping is a lot easier in Brawl and Smash 4 than Melee, which, as a (mainly) Melee player, I can definitely say is nice. I haven't tried it in Smash 4 yet, so I can't say for sure how much easier, but it's tough for sure in Melee, almost to the point of being unusable for all but the most dedicated players. I'll have to remember to give it a try in Smash 4 though.
  23. Eyyyyy, happy birthday! Hope you have a good one!
