I was gone for half of the day and I found myself typing a guilt trip for Nivia. Those feels!! Murdoc, what have you done?? In all seriousness, though, great spin on the first boss. I am a sucker for sad stories and such.- 603 replies

Nivia, the Dewgong, awoke to the sounds of the two gunshots, which immediately set her on edge. "What?! Another Hydreigon or something?" She quickly spun around, trying to locate the threat, only to hear small, pitiful squeaks that belonged to... A female Deino? She saw the young dragon scrambling blindly towards Theo, eager to get away from that gun. Nivia stretched herself out and slid on the watery grass so that she is besides her companion and the dragonling. "A Deino in the middle of the woods? Did she just appear while I was asleep?" Nivia questioned herself when her eyes fell upon the dead body of the Hydreigon. A sudden chill swept through her as Kenny, the Dewott, was yelling at the human boy. "An orphaned Deino...? Does that mean that we... Were MURDERERS? NO NO NO NO NO!!" Nivia was paralyzed at the thought. The Dewgong only wanted to go home, how could all of this happen? She didn't even react when Gale threw the Oran berries towards them in an attempt to repair his mistake. "This can't be happening, it's all a dream right? This is all a dream... This is all a dream..." Nivia thought as she sat there, shell-shocked at the blatant truth that is before her eyes. The sight of the Deino trying to reach the berries, however, forced Nivia to accept the truth. As reality slowly sinks in, Nivia began to cry as Kenny approached them to give the Oran berries to the little Deino. "I-I didn't w-want t-this to h-happen... I r-really didn't... I'm s-sorry H-Hydreigon... I... I..." Nivia cried, feeling ashamed of her own actions. Although she wasn't the one to pull the trigger, the Dewgong still felt responsible for its demise. She was the one who slowed it down, after all.
-
"Y-Yes, dear Theo... It... seems like it," Nivia responded hesitantly. Although she was relieved that everyone survived the terrible assault, the Dewgong has mixed feelings about the way it ended. The gun shot had brought back bad memories of the time when she was one of the hunted. She didn't think that the guy would actually fire at a Pokemon, much less to kill them. That fact combined with the smell of blood makes her want to puke with disgust and anger. However, it would not seem lady-like, so she held it in and examined the battlefield, avoiding contact with the lifeless body of the Hydreigon and the two humans. Panting from the fight, she found little Blaze near the forest, appearing to be less injured than the rest. Nivia sighed with relief at that; at least the innocent ones are still intact. "Blaze, thank goodness you're safe! Thank you for covering for us!" she called out to the little fire type. Then, she took a good look at her friend, all bloody and messed up no thanks to that meteor shower. Nivia flinched as Theo coughed up some blood, feeling disgusted but helpless. She doesn't know how to Wish for someone to feel better and Dewgongs can't really transfer an Aqua Ring or a Rest's effects towards another Pokemon. "Wait, what about that bag Theo had? It should have berries inside..." As soon as she located it, which was a few yards away, Nivia flopped towards it and carried it back with her. "Theo, appearances can be dealt with later. I don't think anybody looks like a model after what we went through, including myself," she laughed weakly. "The most important thing now is to rest up and recover from our injuries. I'm sure you have some berries in there so I'll leave you and Blaze with that for a few moments." With that, Nivia closed her eyes as her body glowed softly against the sun's rays. Her head slowly lowered to the ground and appeared to have fallen asleep. As she slept, the ring of water slowly dissipated into the earth around her and Theo. Her body seemed to have less and less wounds as the seconds pass by.

As Nivia was trying to charge up an Ice Beam while Theo threw the dark dragon to the side, she began feeling small, little ice balls sliding down her now-dirty white coat. Then, a blast of chilled air swept through the area, effectively breaking Nivia's concentration. "Another Ice type? What perfect timing." Nivia thought as she looked around. However, her admiration was quickly replaced by fear as she noticed that the sky began to rain meteors. Theo was covering for her, but even he could only take so much. "Theo, try staying down! Blaze, get over here and hide under my tail or something! I'll see if I can expand my Aqua Ring to reduce the damage." Nivia called out to her companions as her veil of water began to expand. Her blue eyes glowed as the Aqua Ring was enlarged to cover the trio, circling ever more vigorously to try and deflect anything hoping to get past it. "After that Blizzard, I doubt it can survive another Ice or Fighting attack. That could be our chance once those meteors are down." Nivia could only hope for the best as the rocks came tumbling down towards the group.

The water surrounding her should be Aqua Ring. The move she used to cripple Hydreigon was Icy Wind. And she is now charging up for an Ice Beam@K_H: Yeah, the mobile version needs some work on that aspect.- 603 replies

Nivia cried out in pain as Hydreigon's Superpower crashed right into her. It sent her flying a couple of yards back, effectively separating her from the rest of the group. She wished Theo and Blaze would come soon. "Ugh," Nivia growled, "If only I accepted the horn." Despite her condition, she was a bit pleased to find the Hyrdreigon floating awkwardly thanks to her icy attack. "I need to heal before Hydreigon gets another attack in..." With that, Nivia's eyes glowed as a ring of water began to surround her. Thanks to its healing abilites, she felt a little less pain than she did a few seconds ago. It isn't as great as a Rest, but Nivia can't afford to close her eyes to this danger. "Let's see you try this one then!" the Dewgong taunted as she channeled a frozen aura to the tip of her horn. A small, bluish-white force began to form, crackling with chilling, icy energy threatening to let loose at her foe.
-
As Nivia was swimming along, she suddenly felt the water recede from the bank. Before she could even shout out a warning, especially to Blaze, she was carried away from her two friends and landed, ungracefully, straight onto land, with water dripping everywhere. Struggling to get a grip of herself, Nivia looked around and found herself right behind the Hydreigon with an injured party of Pokemon. The Dewott (since she still refused to call him by his name) appeared unconscious, while the others appeared to be injured, except for the tiny Togepi. Losing her field advantage made her panic; Nivia began dragging herself on all of her flippers and tail to get back into the river, or what was left of it. As she neared it, however, she looked back at the Hydreigon, then at the water, then back again at the dragon, a little confused. She found it odd that a sudden wave of water crashed down on the party. "Was it a coincidence or did that dragon make a Surf?" Nivia thought. "If that is the case, my going back is going to be useless..." With that, Nivia fired off an Icy Wind towards the Hydreigon, hoping to slow down the dragon. She knew she was not the fastest Pokemon around, so any advantage now will help. "Hey, big boy! Chill out, why don't you?"
-
Nivia dove straight into the water to try and avoid the painful cries of the Hyper Voice. The force of that move was so powerful that it sent massive vibrations through the water. By the sound of it, the dual Water/Ice Pokemon could tell it was a Hydreigon; it was a Pokemon she could have a good advantage of, especially since those dragons cannot swim. With that in mind, she came back to the surface to meet with Theo and Blaze again. "No offense, my dear friends, but I really doubt anybody could ignore that Hydreigon after that annoying cry," Nivia said, shaking her head to try and clear out the effects of the Hyper Voice. She then heard the said dragon causing more commotion as it flew over a particular area quite close to the trio. The sounds of pain and moves clashing with one another could be heard. Nobody needs to question what is going on: There is clearly a battle. Nivia began to swim towards the beast, voicing her opinion as she moved along. "Look, I may not trust some of them in the group but, as of right now, that predator is our common enemy. If they cannot handle it, that Hydreigon will probably come after us next. We might as well take it down now while we still have this many of us still standing. And besides," Nivia added, "I have an advantage here with being in the water so it cannot touch me and I know Ice type moves. What is the worst that can happen?"
-
"Tch," Nivia gave a glance behind her, considering whether or not they should go back or not. The cry she heard did sound threatening, which set her on edge. Her instincts tell her to run far away from here. However, she felt something was holding her back from saying that thought; Nivia could not quite pinpoint it, but she felt that she couldn't just leave the others behind, even if it includes a human, as much as it annoys her to admit it. "Maybe it has to do with what Blaze called it: An unknown reason." With a sigh of defeat at her own conflicted feelings, Nivia changed course and began swimming cautiously back downstream. "Let us go help them. However, I think we should also keep our eyes open while we go back. We, technically, don't know in which direction that cry is coming from. And I doubt the others know either."
-
Nivia slowed down as she considered what Blaze said as Theo answered the question. She didn't really give much thought about the mountain until the whole fiasco happened. When Blaze mentioned how they were being led there, however, she couldn't help but shiver at that thought. The blue-eyed Dewgong swam closer to the edge, closing the distance between her and her two friends. "Something tells me, little Blaze, that you may be correct on us being led to the mountain. Whether it is some other force that has that wind do its bidding, or it is the wind itself, I'm not sure. Whatever it may be, however, I know what I want to find. I want to find out where we are and what we can do to get us all back home or, in some cases, find out about our pasts." Nivia said, adamantly. Noticing that she might have came off as rude, she quickly added, "W-Well, those are only my priorities. Whatever else there is, for reasons known and unknown, can also be considered."

2 questions: Citae Arc-D'Astrae and 10th badge
DarkLight replied to Zzylard's question in On the Hunt
Citae Arc-D'Astrae is where you had that whole event with Elias and his Ditto-Arceus. There are those patches of grass before you go into that huge building with them inside. And no, you didn't miss one. We are supposed to have 9 in total. I have 8 so far because I didn't get up to Luna's gym battle yet. -
Once Flux climbed inside, Miki quickly hopped back into the tunnel and gestured her Jolteon to follow. However, once again, her Jolteon whined his displeasure. "Raito, get down here!" Miki called. Still, her Jolteon shook his head and whined more. "I can't put in your ball right now. We might need you!" Miki said, exasperated. She was nervous enough now that the alarms are going off; she doesn't need her companion to add more drama to the scene. "Raito! I'll hold you until we run out, what do you think?" Miki asked, holding out her arms. The Jolteon looked at her, then at Alina, Maple and Jon as they took their positions. He didn't want to get caught up in the Leaf Storm and he knew Miki is not going to put him in his Pokeball now. With a sigh of defeat, he jumped down and clung tightly to his long time friend, shivering with fright as the lights begin to dim.
-
"So the boy is Gale, huh? Judging by his composure, he doesn't look like the poacher-type," Nivia thought to herself as Amarantha and Theo make small talk. Despite her uneasiness with the humans around here, Nivia decided to hold her tongue on her impressions of Gale. After all, the boy didn't seem to have any weapon that can harm her, at least from what Nivia is seeing so far. "Let's get going then, before we are swallowed up by this disgusting wind." Nivia said. "We can continue chatting as we make our way to the mountain." With that, Nivia began following the current that seems to lead into the valley, looking back once in a while to see if the others are following.
-
Miki was a bit nervous at the ambush part, seeing as she was the only one with no particular combat skills. Her Jolteon, however, seemed confident and nodded reassuringly to his Japanese trainer. "Considering how Raito can deal long-range attacks, I should be fine." "Since both of you are in, I-I'll try to help out as well." Miki replied. "T-The more people we have, the better it is to cover each hallway to prevent a s-sneak attack on us. J-Just give me a moment to change out of this uniform." With that, she hopped back into the tunnel to quickly change back into her more comfortable and simple clothing.
-
Miki covered her ears at Jon's reaction to Sarcus' statement. "I don't know, maybe Arceus?" Jon asked after he calmed down. "You c-could try that. It's seems too obvious but, s-sometimes, the obvious is the least expected... A-And even if it we c-couldn't figure it out, we shouldn't panic. We could always bluff our way through since we are mostly in u-uniforms. Like... maybe we can convince the a-acolytes that Jon, Alina and I found Flux and Sarcus trying to h-hack into the computer system. T-They may buy that a-and take us somewhere we can ambush them safely... Or m-maybe even a central computer room..." Raito called out to the group and pointed to the door, hoping for someone to let him out to check the surroundings. Miki walked towards him and gave him a pat on the head before she opened the said entrance. With that, Raito disappeared and reappeared after a few seconds. Unlike the last round, however, the Jolteon appeared a little nervous. "What wrong, boy? Is someone coming?" Miki knelt down beside him once she shut the door. Raito gave a short bark as his comfirmation. "Where are they? Is it far from here?" Raito twitched his left ear, he then looked at the hole and pointed to it and the door. "So, they are at the stairs? Were they in a rush or something?" The Jolteon nodded at the first question, but shook his head at the second question. Then, he let out a few sparks and pointed towards the door once again. Miki nodded and turned towards the others. "There are acolytes coming down the stairs from a floor above us. Even though they didn't seem to notice us, Raito is concerned that they will be suspicious once they see the inactive drones that he short-circuited..."

Nivia still saw it in her hand. She doesn't take too kindly to any human since she became the hunted when she was thrown into this world. The Dewgong will probably open up again, eventually.- 603 replies

As soon as the blast was gone, Nivia opened her eyes to find herself covered by a fur cape and a huge Pangoro standing guard. She was clearly shaken up by the sudden blast; her coat and blubber were not meant to shield her from physical attacks like those. "D-Dear Theo, I am fine thanks to you. I c-can't thank you enough for t-taking the hit for me," Nivia answered as she looked up at the Pangoro with the little hat. Yes, it is indeed the little Theo she met back in the woods. "A-And my, what a surprise to see you all grown up. Congratulations! My human partner had told me it was called "evolution." You will find yourself to be a lot stronger than you once were, trust me on that. Although," she gave a glare towards the running, newly-evolved Dewott, "He didn't deserve it." "We should probably get going too. I don't really feel comfortable staying here much longer..." As soon as Blaze made his statement, Nivia felt the chilling, dark wind slowly trying to envelop her. She couldn't help but feel disgusted at that; the Dewgong was already not in a happy mood no thanks to that water Pokemon and now she had to deal with that nasty wind again. "What was his problem anyway? I only asked a question and gave a fair warning in advance. There was absolutely no need to attack me or my companions." She growled, then turned herself in the water to face the mountain. "It seems I have no choice but to go towards the mountain with you, since that wind would not permit me to do anything else. Please don't take my statement the wrong way. I don't mind going since there seems to be a small river leading to our destination. As long as... What was his name?... Kenny stays away from me, I will be perfectly at peace." Her voice dripped with anger as she spoke the Dewott's name. Nivia, however, softened her voice as she addressed her two companions. "Theo, dear, unfortunately, I cannot carry you across the water anymore because of your... Increase in size. However, I will stay with you and Blaze until both of you are ready to go. Just let me know." As she waited, Nivia observed her company. Aside from Theo, Blaze and that Dewott, there is a Togepi, a Gardevoir, 2 humans - One with a gun and the other a guy - A Houndoom and an Umbreon. The Togepi seemed pretty harmless (and even helped Theo), so Nivia didn't bother suspecting her, yet. The Gardevoir didn't seem too bothered by the wind. She seemed more eager to meet it than the others were. The Houndoom and the Umbreon though, Nivia was not too comfortable about them. Although they didn't attack her, she could see that they are protective of that girl with the gun. "Hmph. Hopefully, they are not as foolish as that annoying, angry Pokemon."
-
Miki sighed as she examined the two closets more throughly from head to toe. "That's a shame. I was hoping for some berries or something that they happen to leave behind." After she picked up a medium-sized uniform, she then waited for Jon to climb back out of the tunnel before she, herself, made her way down the tunnel to change. Miki also took her bag with her to put her clothes there. "They dont look very.. flexible, but whatever" As Miki climbed, clumsily, back into the room, she couldn't help but agree with the only other female in the team. She could barely run at her full speed in this uniform that is tightly fitted around her legs. The Japanese girl dusted herself off briskly before settling herself down at the bed again, oblivious to Jon's discomfort. "A-At least this is only t-temporary... I think..."

[OOC/Signup] As Gods Sleep. . .
DarkLight replied to Chevaleresse's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Finally managed to find the time to get online and post. My Spring break was practically wasted because of my internship, so I have been playing catch up on my free time (which is like a few minutes before I fall asleep). Because of this, I will say now that if things are moving quickly, someone may bunny me to avoid slowing the rp down. As for the trust thing, I believe it should be the Pokemon trusting the trainer, as Murdoc did say in his last post.- 603 replies

"My oh my, aren't you a tough bunch?" Nivia said amusingly as she swam closer to Theo and Blaze. "How would you know that we are not strong ourselves?" With that, she let out an Icy Wind towards the air to show off. With a nod towards Theo and Blaze, she swam ahead of them to get a look at the humans and Pokemon. Upon seeing the girl with the gun, however, Nivia's eyes narrowed with anger, remembering how she was almost killed when she was dropped into the forest. She quickly went into a battle-stance, preparing to fire an Ice Beam to freeze the gun. "Hey, it's unfair to have a gun by your side! How would I know if you are just lying to us in order to draw us out? Is she one of those poachers trying to kill me? Tell me before I blast you with Ice Beam!"
-
As the others climbed up into the room, Miki stayed by the tunnel's entrance waiting for her Jolteon to take the leap down. Unfortunately for the trainer, her spiky friend wasn't complying any time soon. With an amused sigh, Miki took out her Luxury ball and called him back. "Since you are so stubborn, I'll let you stay in here until we are inside." With that, Raito disappeared in a beam of red light that went straight into the pokeball. --------------------------------------------------- Miki managed to pull herself out of the hole and found herself in the room with Flux and Sarcus working on a PC and Jon near a wardrobe closet. She decided to make herself comfortable on the bed, careful not to sit on the wardrobes Jon was laying out. Then, she let Raito out of his Luxury ball, who gave a sigh of relief. Miki saw Flux taking out a PokeGear and inserting it into the PC, although he seemed a little upset about it. Then, she headed towards the closet herself to find herself a female uniform. "I-Is there anything good in there b-besides uniforms?" Miki asked curiously. As this took place, Raito stretched himself out before he wandered around the room. He noticed Flux's PokeGear; it sparked his interest and gave a twitch with his left ear, but otherwise moved on. Since his trainer is with Jon, he decided to place himself in front of the door, just in case someone happened to burst in.

Miki watched as Kyte, the Swampert, dug swiftly down the ground beneath him. When she saw no dirt flying around the area, Miki went over and took a peek down the tunnel. She wasn't able to hear anything from down there; she assumed that Kyte must be somewhere underneath the prison by now. "So... down the Bunnelby hole we go?" Miki asked before she took the jump down into the dark, gravelly tunnel. Her Jolteon gave a yelp of surprise and peered down the hole, obviously uncomfortable with the fact that they would need to travel underground.
