I am at the end of ep 13. I started playing 1 year ago, so my opinion may be outdated with the changes in the gym leader's teams and all. When I faced Florinia and Corey, I found Florinia to be horrendous without Scrafty. Dobby's videos may give you a better idea on whether Corey is worse than Florinia or not nowadays. With that, she squeezed inside and found herself inside a room with many generators and machinery. Miki could hear rhythmic, vibrating hums as the generators convert their inputted energy into electricity, or whatever else the Church decided to use. In the center of the smaller generators, however, is a Mamoswine-sized generator that overshadowed everything in this space. It should have worked if you gave them a Farfetch'd already. And no, I do not believe it is gender-specific. I had a female shiny Pidgeot and they accepted it during a test run. Then I gave him a regular male Pidgeot and the same result occurred. Then again, I did this in ep 12. Are you talking to the right guy though?
