  1. For Typhlosion, you should replace Quick Attack with either Hidden Power (for coverage purposes) or re-learn Swift. Typholsion is more about being a special attacker than anything else.
  2. There is an second sidequest to get the other fossil. Then, if you want multiples, you can trade the Helix Fossil for either one. (As of ep. 11)
  3. "My human wants to know if you want to ride around in his Pokeball. I don't know, maybe you'd find it more comfortable? They just seem cramped to me." Nivia looked at the human that Amarantha referred to. The human boy was giving her a look of pity (or perhaps it was actual concern?) and holding out a Great Ball. Then she looked towards her trio of companions. Blaze is sticking close by to Theo and herself; the Pangoro just as loyal. As for Umbra... Nivia quickly looked back down at the Togepi, a twinge of guilt and shame rushing over her as she struggled not to recall the memory of the dragon's mother. How could she be so selfish and consider joining one of those murderous humans for the sake of her own comfort? And what would happen to Theo and Blaze while she was inside the Great Ball? She wouldn't be able to help them as freely as she could now. But that concerned look on that boy's face did give her some hope that he may be repenting... Once she cleared out her thoughts, Nivia lowered her head to reach the Togepi's level. "Unfortunately for your human, Kenny is correct. I may be tired, but I cannot leave dear Theo, Blaze and... Umbra behind for my sake, especially after what he did to H-Hydreigon," Nivia said softly, trying not to choke up on her guilt. "However, you can tell him that I appreciate the offer. Perhaps there is some chance, just a slight one though." Nivia looked at the boy, the Gardevoir, and then back at the Togepi. "May I ask, Amarantha, why you chose to stay with this human? He did just murder one of our kind, after all." She then turned to Theo, who is reluctant to follow Deoxys to its master's lair. The others, especially Sark, seems all for arms about the plan though. Nivia could still feel a tremor or two underneath her white body. "Theo, dear, while I do agree with you on the fact that this is suspicious, I believe it may be our only option at this point. I can feel the earth shaking as we walk, or slide in my case. If what Deoxys says is true, it can cause us more damage while we stay here, especially to poor Umbra. We cannot protect ourselves and Umbra at the same time if we are confronting such a calamity. We are not gods, after all. I have also heard some rumors about Deoxys back in my hometown. Legend has it that this legendary is supposed to reside in a secluded island in the sea that is far away from humans. I do not believe that such a Pokemon would want to cause harm to its own kind, would he?"
  4. I'm here too. I was waiting for Amarantha's response before I respond to Theo.
  5. Nivia was not used to traveling such long distances on land, let alone hiking on a mountain. The journey would have been better if she was able to plop herself on the icy staircase that she kept on making for herself (and the others if they want), but those rockfalls kept smashing them apart almost every time Nivia tried to climb up further. As a result, by the time she got up to the peak, Nivia was physically and mentally exhausted. So, even when a legendary Pokemon such as Deoxys showed up, Nivia let the rest of the group do the talking as she tried to catch her breath. She was so tempted to use Rest as she was lying on the floor listening to the conversations that are taking place. However, the mention of Mewtwo and the plates of the great Arceus kept her awake. Then, of course, she felt the earth beneath her rocked ever so slightly, causing them to move out immediately. Nivia wished to herself that a decent human could just throw a Pokeball at her so that she won't have to travel any more. She was so not made for this, as evidenced by her lack of legs. Nivia sighed, lifted her head wearily, and made herself another icy path to follow Deoxys to safety. "At least there won't be rocks in my way this time..." Nivia thought as she slid on the said path.
  6. Miki's Jolteon was a bit dazed after the whole light display from Maple and Absolution. And then he was wet thanks to Kyte. At least the drones in the room were destroyed, giving Raito some time to recover from the assaults. He quickly shook off the water as well as those bright lights he is seeing before his eyes before he turned his attention towards the door. As the yellow Eeveelution walked, or rather slid, towards the door, Raito heard an acolyte screaming for backup. The Jolteon sighed at the acolyte's foolishness and went back towards the hole. He then awaited for his partner's decision on what to do. ----------------------------------------- "I-Is everyone in one piece?" Miki asked as soon as the explosion of drones settled down. Debris was, literally, everywhere: There were burnt parts littered on the floor around them, electric wires hung loosely on the remaining bodies of some drones, water was pooling over by where Raito was; it was a huge mess. She then looked over at Alina, who seemed to have sustained an injury on her arm. Miki rummaged through her bag and managed pulled out a small handkerchief. She walked over to the only other female in the team and bandaged her arm. "S-Sorry for not being a-anymore helpful... This is all I c-could do for now..." "WE NEED BACKUP ASAP! THERE IS A BREACH UP ON THE SECOND FLOOR! I REPEAT: THERE IS A BREACH UP ON THE SECOND FLOOR!" "So much for listening..." Miki grumbled under her breath. She then saw Raito hovering over the hole and looking down at someone (or something) with a look of disappointment on his face. As she walked over towards the hole, the Japanese trainer heard quiet whispers of "Be quiet!" or "You'll get us killed!" and the like. The acolytes looked up fearfully as Miki sat on the edge of the hole, except for that same gutsy one who is giving her a look that said "Now whatcha gonna do?" "Hey everyone! I n-need your o-opinion on this!" Miki started, not taking her eyes off of the loud girl. "S-Since this one decided b-be a loud mouth, should I-I have Raito send her into a coma? O-Or do you have other ideas?" Raito now came over to her side and let a few sparks fly around his fur.
  7. Oops, I totally misunderstood that. I read that as my dragon being Dark type without a doubt. It's good to know it's still around~
  8. Can we play as a Dark dragon? If it doesn't work out, I wouldn't mind playing as that instead of Faerie as long as she is still has her mischievous personality.
  9. Please feel free to let me know if anything looks funny~ Name: Freyja Species: Faerie/Mirage hybrid. Breathes in bursts of light. Age: Just turned Young. Ancestry: Her mother is a purple fairy dragon, while her father is a light-orange Mirage dragon. Appearance: Freyja's body is mostly purple and orange with hints of whites here and there. She also gained bird-like feathers running down her long tail and on her head. Unlike those of her fairy brethren, who usually have butterfly wings, her purple and orange veined wings are more similar to those of elemental dragons. Under direct sunlight, her wings reflect the purples, oranges and some white patterns that she has inherited from her lineage. Otherwise, many usually only see plain purple and orange. She has orange spikes running down from her chin to her belly with a purple, leathery mane down the back of her neck. Backstory: Freyja has lived a very comfortable life so far. Since her family lived deep in the woods with other types of fairies, mirage dragons, and forest nymphs, her life has all been about fun and games. True to her faerie side, this little dragon loves playing tricks on others, especially on humans, who always seemed to have some sort of trinket that she would be interested in. While she makes sure that her trickery doesn't get her victims into trouble, Freyja would always try and bring back a souvenir to her cave that she made for herself that is near her parents' hollow. Most of these mementos happen to be gold, which she loves dearly. As a result, the purple and orange dragon would try and abuse her teleportation powers to steal what she desires. However, as she is still a baby, Freyja has yet to master this power fully. She sometimes gets caught in her stealing and is forced to give her goodies back to their rightful owners. Her breath of light, however, is almost fully developed. EDIT: Backstory is done. I couldn't think of anything else.
  10. "Raito, you know what to do!" Miki commanded her Jolteon. "Everyone else, grab something to shield yourself!" She immediately knelt down behind a bed. Raito quickly leaped over the hole and landed right in front of the drones. As the drones tried to direct their aim at the yellow Pokemon, Raito let out a Thunderbolt and fried one of the drones. The Jolteon then leaped out of the vicinity of the other two drones in order to prepare for his next Thunderbolt. Unfortunately, this led the two drones to try and refocus their attention on the rest of the Covert Ops.
  11. Nivia watched as Kenny, Blaze and Theo began walking in the direction of the mountain. She was surprised that Kenny would shut the human boy down just like that. "Well, I definitely didn't see that coming. Good for him; he is finally thinking more clearly and not rushing into things." With that thought, Nivia decided to abandon her already-made ice slide and flopped towards the river. She might as well get a good swim while she still can before the river comes to a dead end somewhere. "And it gives me an opportunity to clean my coat before Arceus-knows-what..."
  12. "U-um... I don't think it's very safe to stay here anymore... Especially for Umbra's sake. She... she shouldn't be anywhere near this wind... It feels like it comes from something very powerful and scary..." Nivia had nodded in agreement at her companion's remark on the dark wind. "Little Blaze was probably traumatized by that death, judging by his tears. We should really be off and get to our respective homes, for Umbra's sake and our's." She then felt a chilly presence as a Frolass named Yuki drifted over to join them on their way to the mountain. "Ah, you must be Yuki that Sark mentioned," the Dewgong remarked. "My name is Nivia. It's nice to see a fellow Ice-type besides myself." She then listened to what the human boy ("that murderer," Nivia thought, hostilely) had to say before he took out one Pokeball. From what Nivia could gather, he was trying to persuade one of them to join his party. Nivia noticed how Kenny wanted to accept the invitation, which worried her. "Kenny, are you sure you want to join this guy? What if he is going to turn on us next? Can you really trust him not to kill us?"
  13. Luckily, since Dewgongs are part Ice, I could always use that ice path to travel around even without water. I admit, I decided to take on Dewgong instead of the other choices offered because of this challenge and to make Murdoc's life miserable.
  14. Nivia took a long look at the Bidoof. Up until now, she still didn't know his name, which irked her somewhat. However, she could also tell that he was competitive, which could help them in various situations. She did see him raring to go at the Hydreigon when she was unceremoniously tossed over by her Surf. The white coloring also intrigued her interest. "Surely, he is a different kind of Bidoof. Perhaps a stronger kind...?" Nivia thought. "I don't mind having you tag along with us. The more the merrier, or safer in this case." Nivia held out a front flipper for him to shake. "My name is Nivia and this is dear Theo. May I ask for your name?"
  15. As soon as Alina climbed up, Miki gave a nod to her Jolteon, signaling for him to come up. Raito gave one last look at the tied-up acolytes, then ran up Ogre's back to rejoin his trainer. "I-I wouldn't want to call out i-if I were you!" Miki issued a warning as she saw a gutsy acolyte trying to scream. "We still have an A-Aggron here waiting to destroy some things. Believe me, he would not be as lenient as my J-Jolteon here. I-Isn't that right, my friend?" The Japanese trainer proceeded gave Ogre a pat on the head.
  16. Miki followed Jon and made her way up to the second floor by climbing on Ogre's back. "Thanks Ogre," Miki whispered and gave a pat on his head as she made herself comfortable on the edge of the hole. She then waited for the others, including her Jolteon, to climb up before they all made their way to the third floor.
  17. "Well, it's good to know my techniques have not lost their touch," Nivia thought proudly as Kenny and the Houndoom were practicing their moves. The ice poles that the Dewott is using were beautifully shaped bluish-white cylinders that were sparkling in the sun. "If only those judges could see them. They would love me so much for such a display... Credits given to the Dewott, too, for the Water Gun, of course," she sighed. Nivia then saw the group beginning to depart towards the mountain. "It looks like our time is up. Everyone is ready to leave after they got their bearings after that... death. That is... everyone except me..." Nivia shifted uneasily at that thought. She looked up at Theo who was cuddling baby Umbra, who is now in comfortable (and very safe) harness; Kenny, the human boy, the Togepi, the Gardevoir, even the girl with the gun and her two companions seem be ready to go. "I guess it's my turn to say goodbye then." Nivia gulped as she turned her head to face the lifeless body of the mother dragon. She then made an ice path with an Ice Beam and slid her way to the body; Nivia was careful not to place her body onto the pool of blood that had formed around the Hydreigon. Nivia tried not breathe in too much; the Ice/Water Pokemon didn't want to risk throwing up on the body, it would not only be disgusting, but also plain rude. She came here to pay her respects, not to deface the poor mother. "Hydreigon, I... I sincerely apologize for misunderstanding your actions. If I had known that you were only trying to protect your child, I would have not have attacked you and, essentially, lead you to your d-death. For that, I am truly, truly sorry." Nivia apologized, trying her best to look at the dark body of the dragon as she said her monologue. "I am sure the others are also sorry for their actions, in their own way, but all of us cannot pay their proper respects to you. That dark wind is about to overtake us, including your child, so we need to leave as soon as possible..." Nivia looked towards the sky; the dark clouds were rolling in once more, threatening the whole crew in its subtle, ominous way. "Hydreigon, I will help and take care of little Umbra. I already made a wrong by causing your death, I will not make another by taking another innocent life. Please accept this as my way of saying sorry." Nivia bowed, took once last look at the Hydreigon, and proceeded to slide her way back to Theo. "Dear friend, let us continue. It will do us all no good if we stay here and let the wind take our lives. We will all help protect Umbra together." With that, Nivia made another icy path for her to slide on. This time, the slippery path is heading in the direction of the mountain.
  18. Miki was surprised that worked out. She didn't believe she would be that influential over an enemy. It made her feel pretty good that she could help out in a situation outside of fighting. She nodded towards Jon as he stepped towards Flux and Ogre, following their footsteps. "Just make sure they stay silent until we all up there, R-- boy. You can quickly make your way up here right?" Miki questioned her Jolteon. Raito barked a confirmation and stood proudly in front of the acolytes. Miki decided not to release her Jolteon's name in front of the enemy. You never know when they can use that information against you, after all.
  19. Nivia nodded numbly as Theo put down the baby Deino beside her; she was still considering what Kenny and the white (wait, white?) Bidoof had said. As she dried her tears, the Dewgong looked back at the incoming wind that is creeping ever so slowly behind them. Her self-pity is replaced with disgust, slightly. Repulsed by the dark color, Nivia turned towards the little dark dragon. She watched the tiny Deino, Umbra is what Theo named her, lay motionless beside her, or so it seems. Her body rose up and down steadily as she breathed, seemingly at peace with the world around her. Nivia lied down so that their faces are leveled, sighing with a choked sob here and there. Seeing the Deino resting so peacefully reminded the blue-eyed Dewgong of her days as a baby Seel, swimming playfully without a care in the world. "She is so innocent to this world, the poor thing..." Nivia thought sadly. She covered little Umbra with her tail, hoping that it might give her some warmth as the Deino slept. "I-I guess that is the most I c-could do, right?" She asked the river. "It's not like I could be her mot--" Nivia gasped as she felt Umbra playing underneath her rubbery tail. The Dewgong was surprised that the little dragon didn't bound away from an Ice type like herself, which usually happens with older dragons. "A-Aren't you afraid of me?" she asked the little dragon. Umbra stopped and turned her head towards the source of her voice. The dark dragon then began stumbling towards her, sniffing around to get a scent of the seal. Nivia watched as Umbra fell onto the grass right in front of her face, although it didn't seem to bother the dragon. Umbra proceeded to sniff the Dewgong out of curiosity. "Hi there, little Umbra." Nivia spoke quietly. The said Deino jumped back in surprise, then lowered her little head so that they are at eye-level, or so it would be if Nivia could see Umbra's eyes underneath all of that hair. Umbra let out a small cry; she was curious about this strange creature she sniffed up. The creature didn't smell like a dark type and her body is colder than most Pokemon's. Yet, the Pokemon didn't harm her, so the cold one must be safe to approach, right? "That's right, Umbra. I'm one of the ones that had a hand in... the death of your mother. You should stay away from me," Nivia said despondently to the curious Umbra. Instead if taking her advice, however, Umbra somehow found her way back to Nivia's tail and crawled underneath it again, letting out a small cry of enjoyment as Nivia's tail flowed around her. The Dewgong couldn't help but smile despite her circumstances. "...Training may be disrespectful, but you felt that wind, didn't you? The thing that controls that, is more powerful than an Hydreigon. We need all the training we can get." "Maybe that white Bidoof has a point." Nivia thought as the Deino played around. "If we don't get stronger, then my guilt over killing Hydreigon would be pointless. Then we might not even be able to save little Umbra. The least I could do is to protect Umbra until she could defend herself. I can't let a baby Pokemon live on its own, especially since I was the reason as to why she is an orphan in the first place. That is the one thing I can do for Hydreigon as my way of saying sorry." With that, she looked over to find Kenny with the Umbreon, Houndoom and the girl. If making poles can help them protect the little Deino as well as themselves, she might as well help Kenny now. "Hey there! Didn't you want to make ice poles or something before? I'm ready when you are!"
  20. Miki looked up at the massive hole that is right above there heads, slightly amused. "So, another hole has been made. Well, it saves us from walking, I guess." She then turned her attention to the complaining acolytes as Sarcus and Jon were tying them up. Miki felt a little sorry for them, but she, like her team members, couldn't risk them running off to tell the supervisor about their presence. "And their whining isn't helping either..." the trainer thought. "The others might hear them..." "Raito, come with me." She told her partner as she walked over to the tied up acolytes. Miki coughed to get their attention which, luckily, worked. They immediately went quiet as their eyes went straight to her and her Electric Pokemon. "L-Look here, girls. Stop c-complaining about being captured. First off, this is nothing compared to what we have been through outside. At least y-you aren't being tortured and starved to death. Second, we are just giving you a taste of your own medicine. You and your beloved church have captured many of us and put us in dungeons just because we looked at you funny. Have you ever thought about how stupid that sounded?" Miki hissed at the group. "Considering the situation you are in, I would say that you have it lucky. So, instead of whining and moaning about, how about you do us all a favor and be quiet or..." Miki pointed to the computer, "One of you could help us disable that security system you have. If you all decide to cooperate, whether by being quiet or by helping us, we will let you go after we are done with this place. If not..." Miki then gave Raito a pat, "I can have my Jolteon here give you a Thunderbolt and send you all into a coma. So, which will it be?"
  21. "Come on, boy, you can go out. I'll toss you up," Miki spoke softly to her frightened Jolteon. In response, the yellow Eeveelution shifted himself into position and gave a nod to his trainer once he was ready. The Japanese lady tossed up her partner, allowing him to grab a hold of the edge of the hole and climbed himself out. Raito, the Jolteon, gave a sigh of relief and shook himself out as Miki got out of the dark tunnel. --------------------------------------------------- Miki took a look at the acolytes, making sure Raito didn't stray too far from her side. Many of them looked seriously frightened, especially the youngest looking acolyte. Miki, however, felt slightly uneasy at the sight of the acolyte closest to them - the one lying on the floor, bleeding. "Was this really necessary?" she thought. Unconsciously, Miki shifted closer to her Jolteon, as if she is attempting to hide herself from the world. "We may have no choice but to kill them. Or at least to tie them up somewhere after we get whatever information we can. Thoughts?" "N-No! We d-don't have to kill them! They are only kids like me! B-But, unfortunately, they were just brainwashed by the Church..." Miki exclaimed. "I think we should give them a chance to surrender. I-I mean, if we decided to kill them, it r-really wouldn't make us look better than the Church, right?" Raito, in the meantime, was looking at the Pokeball that one acolyte was trying to reach. He was ready to pounce at the said object should that trainer decided to take advantage of this discussion to throw them off.
  22. As the leaves crackle down, Miki nudged her frightened Jolteon with her face, careful to avoid his white spiky collar. "Hey Raito," she whispered. "Snap out of it, if those acolytes won't back down, you'll need to help Absolution and Kyte out. And besides, it's not so bad here. You're with us, right?" Raito, still shivering, stole a glance upwards before burrowing his head into his trainer's body again. Claustrophobia in underground tunnels was always an issue with him; he is not getting over it anytime soon.
  23. "Nivia, I'd like to try something out. When I use Water Gun, i want you use Ice Beam on the Water Gun. That should freeze it into a pole. If we do that several times, the entire group can train up on their fighting skills using the poles, and i can test out this new weapon and technique I've thought about trying." Nivia became even more upset when Kenny ask for her help. It's not that she didn't want to help, but Nivia felt that this was not the time. She was already crying when Blaze also started crying beside her. "H-How can you focus your mind on training right now?" Nivia lashed out at the poor Dewott. "We just... Just k-k-killed that Deino's m-mother! I-I mean... It's o-one thing to i-injure it s-so that w-we can move to that mountain, b-but KILLING it is just WRONG! That baby is helpless against the w-world we live in! I-I mean, just look at her! S-She can't even see! A-And now we h-have that wind coming back again! Don't y-you feel any g-guilt and shame for what we have done?!" The Dewgong sobbed as she felt the horrible, dark wind creeping up upon the group once again.
  24. In regards to the Budew, I found it when it had Sunny weather while I was playing yesterday. I don't have a screenshot of it though because I didn't know someone was looking was for it.
  25. Awesome~ I was thinking about creating ice paths with Ice Beam and having her slide around when she needs to. Otherwise, I think she'll flop around to conserve her energy (PP in gaming terms) until there is a long distance journey on land or when she is lazy or I just want to make her life miserable.
