  1. Dobby, I can't help but laugh every time you make a post. Claude is just so funny!
  2. Avis puffed out her chest with pride at Lana's complement. "Mur krow krow~" Avis thanked their companion. "Oh, thank goodness. Avis can be quite a handful when she runs off on her own. I'm surprised she even comes back to me after her excursions." Danielle chuckled while poking Avis' chest with a finger. "Oh, breeding, huh? I never even had the chance to be at a breeding center back home..." Avis gave Danielle a warning glance at that statement. "Mostly because Avis doesn't want to approach one," Danielle rolled her eyes in amusement. "It looks like you hatched an awesome Rhyhorn then. That and you trained him well~" Then, she considered her trip over to Ymora before replying. "Yes, it quite far. I had to leave a day early to catch a boat ride to get here. Despite that though, I love it there. There is so much diversity and styles than I could even imagine. There is always some new~ Be it with people or clothing~" Danielle sighed dreamily. "The only thing that it is missing is a contest hall. Not that I don't like battling, but it's something about making Pokemon moves look unique that gets me... As you can probably tell, I'm here for the contests. What about --?" Avis suddenly flew towards Rhy's direction as if she was in a hurry. A few seconds later, she came back in a flurry, flying above their heads and motioning towards the boys' dormitory. "Avis, what's wrong? Is something happening over there that we should be worried about?" Danielle asked. "Krow krow! Mur murkrow!" Avis replied before flying off back in that direction, again. Danielle looked to where Avis was headed and gasped. There appears to be smoke billowing out of the dorms. "Oh no! Claude may be in there! Lana! Look! It looks like there is a fire! Let's go and see if we could help!" With that, she ran towards the boys' dorm.
  3. "Great!" Danielle exclaimed as she picked up her key; she headed out and locked the door behind them. "By the way, I'm sorry if Avis caused you any inconvenience. She has been known for it back in my hometown because she is just so nosy. Isn't that right, Avis?" Danielle tap Avis' beak lightly as a reprimand for her reckless behavior. Avis gave her a look of indifference, but uttered a humble "Mur..." as an apology to both girls. "Apology accepted, silly. I just don't want another... incident like that one again..." The thoughts of a near fatal injury inflicted upon Avis made Danielle clench her fists in anger. Before she let her emotions get the best of her, she decided to change the topic to a lighter note. The nice weather outside certainly helped her change her attitude easier. Danielle also noticed Rhy trotting over to the boys' dorm at surprising speeds. "Sooo, I'm guessing that Rhyhorn is your's? How ever did you get it to run so quickly? I came from the Kalos region, so my parents would take me to go see Rhyhorn races when I was younger, but I don't ever recall seeing a Rhyhorn there run as quickly as Rhy did. That is pretty amazing!"
  4. "Claude! Wait! What happened?" Danielle cried as Claude ran out of the room with sparkles and rainbows trailing behind him. "Krow..." Avis shook feathers loose, aiming to be rid of the effects of the Fairy Wind that Doux left behind. She had totally forgot about Doux sitting on her head while she flew about. Danielle noticed her discomfort and quickly helped to dust off the sparkles. "Hold on a minute, Lana... Roost, Avis," Danielle said quietly. Avid nodded and closed her eyes. A bright glow enveloped the small bird; her body became still and relaxed. After a brief moment, Avis broke out of the light and let out a triumphant cry, beaming at Danielle and Lana. "Silly bird, you never know danger until it's right in front of you," Danielle said fondly, letting Avis settle on her shoulder. "Sorry for my friend's... um... Sudden departure. I think he's just a bit... uh... startled, it's not your fault. Say, do you want to go help me find him? I'm afraid that he might run off into trouble, like Avis over here," Danielle said as she pointed to her Murkrow.
  5. The loud thuds were heard once again as Danielle sat up. As she turned to face the direction of the sounds, she saw a huge boulder-looking... animal?... walking towards her! "Isn't that the boulder that I saw when we entered the dorm? " she pondered; she was more curious than scared of the huge rock that just decided to move on its own. Upon closer inspection, however, she found that it was a Rhyhorn. The said Rhyhorn then, to Danielle's amusement, fell asleep right in front of them; it didn't seem to find them interesting enough to keep its attention. "I guess that was the source of the loud noise, Claude," Danielle giggled. "And that must mean my roommate is here too! Maybe she will get your interest~" As if on cue, a black blur plopped itself onto Danielle's bed. This was shortly followed by a female voice, although it seemed far away. “Uhm… hello, I’m Lana.” "I... Uhhh... What?" Danielle stuttered at the sudden turn of events took place. "Murkrow!" Avis cried happily to her master, as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened. Danielle couldn't help but sigh out of relief as she stroked Avis' wing. The bird gave a soft cry of content and settled herself beside Danielle. "I'll deal with you later, Avis," she chided the bird. She directed her attention towards the girl at the door. "Lana, no? It's a pleasure to meet you~ I'm Danielle and you have already met Avis, my dear Murkrow. The Cottonee is Doux, who belongs to this lovely man, Claude, here~"
  6. Artemis looked at the paw in Mac's bag, then back at Mac and nodded. "Very well, I'll leave that to you. I'll go in and try to persuade Machamp if there are no other ideas." She waited for Otto's response before she took off. Artemis would rather not deal with a huge Pokemon like that alone, but considering their necessity for items and their current strength, it is better to negotiate than to start a fight right off the bat. Then again, since she is a girl, Artemis thought that fact might soften Machamp up. Males are less likely to fight a female in public, right?
  7. "Of course~" Danielle curtsied before she turning to the door. She was just about to swipe her card key when she heard a very loud noise coming from another room, effectively making her drop her key. "Er- Madame, I don't suppose you know if your room-mate and her partner has arrived already?" "I-I definitely do not." Danielle replied as she swiftly picked up her key lying near her feet. "I just hope Avis isn't the one causing it, her curiosity can get the best of her... Let's go inside and drop off my things quickly before we search for them." After a few quick motions, Danielle opened the door, revealing wide room that is similar to what Avis saw in Lana's room. The breathtaking view and open space made her feel like a 5 year old again. "Whoo! What an awesome space! And I get it all to myself!" Danielle exclaimed with glee before throwing her bags to an empty space in the corner and jumping onto the bed. She never had a bedroom this big back in her hometown. Although her room back at home was comfortable, it just wasn't enough for her to have everything she wanted in there. "Come on, Claude! Isn't this neat? I wonder if your room is like this?" She hugged a pillow before righting herself back up. ---------------------------------- Like Lana's Rhyhorn, Avis was also alerted to the sounds coming right outside the door. Unlike her present company, though, Avis recognized the voices as her master's and Claude's. Without a moment of hesitation, she flew over to the door and tried to pry the doorknob open. "Krow krow, Murkrow!" Avis called to Lana.
  8. "Welll, if you are that curious, I could always find out for you," Danielle laughed. "I'm sure Avis wouldn't mind an adventure with that objective. Since you're sooo obstinate to keep it a secret, I'll drop the subject. I will find out eventually~" Despite her cheerfulness, Danielle couldn't help but wonder why Claude would want to keep that a secret. Perhaps his tastes are "peculiar," like those in 50 Shades of Grey? "Maybe he is just reserved... Just as well. I wouldn't tell my love life to a complete stranger, too." They arrived at the entrance to the girls' dorm. Luckily, the doors are still unlocked, so anybody could go inside. "Shall we, mon ami? I'm sure Avis and Doux are nearby. And, don't worry about your little friend. If she thought he was a hassle, she would have come crying to me by now." -------------------- "Krow krow!" Avis greeted Lana. With that, she flew around the room, curious about her surroundings. After a quick round, Avis finally decided to settle herself on the bed, although she occasionally looked towards the door. Avis didn't even know that her Cottonee friend was sleeping in her head feathers. ((Fixed in my previous post))
  9. "Wha--? N-No! I didn't mean it t-that way!" Danielle laughed, although she did appear flustered from the unintentional flirting. "But really? I'm not your type? I'm hurt," Danielle pouted, although she was clearly not upset if one judged from her behavior. "Now I'm curious. What does suit your fancy tastes, hmmm? You can tell all about it, we have time before we meet up with Avis and Doux after all~" ----------------------- Avis (along with Doux) arrived at a window that gave a view of the living room of the girls' dorm. Avis peered inside, she saw a Rhyhorn, sleeping peacefully. The Murkrow then flew over several other windows, hoping for someone to be awake. At last, she arrived at a room where a girl was unpacking her belongings. The room looked vast with a huge bed, huge closets and, oh, a huge kitchen to boot! Curiosity got the best of the Murkrow; she began pecking at the window, hoping that the female would respond. Unbeknownst to Avis, that girl happened to be her roommate during her stay here at the academy.
  10. "Haha, thank you~ Just make sure you watch your step if you happen to take a midnight stroll. She might pop out of nowhere just to scare you." Danielle teased, attempting to make scary faces. Avis gave a mischievous grin towards Claude before flying off to what appears to be the girls' dormitories, taking Doux with her. "Ah! Avis! You forgot about-- Nevermind... I apologize for my bird. She doesn't mean any harm; I sometimes suspect Avis has ADHD or something." Danielle said meekly. "And I didn't even get to pet your fluffy Cottonee."
  11. Avis glanced up at Doux in shock. Wasn't it supposed to be the other way around? She turned towards Claude and Danielle with a confused look. Unfortunately for her, both trainers were deep in conversation to notice. She gave the Cottonee a playful glare. At least Doux isn't heavy; Avis will get him back for it, someday. "Oh, right! Yes, we should, I do want to drop these bags off; they are getting kind of heavy. I think the dorms are in the same direction, no?" Danielle looked at her key, labeled 008. With that, she began to walk off, waiting for Claude to catch up.
  12. Danielle giggled, amused at Claude's overly polite behavior. "Well, of course you can, Claude the Extraordinaire. I am Danielle Chastain, hailing from Laverre City. And this here is my overly curious bird, Avis... Hang on on second." She pulled out the room key from her Murkrow's claws, eliciting an stunned look from the bird. "We have company, little one. Say hi~" With that, Avis looked towards Claude and the Cottonee and gave a "Krow! Krow!" as a greeting. He then flew over to examine them. "As you can see, overly curious." Danielle said, grinning. "Sorry about that, she will stop getting in your face soon enough. So, it looks we are both from Kalos. This is a pleasure! There doesn't appear to be many from Kalos here, so I'm really glad to have found a neighbor! Or, rather, you found me~ Oh, and hello there, Doux~ Comment allez-vous?"
  13. Yeah, sorry for the lack of response on my end. I am usually busy during the day @.@
  14. "Merci~ And, uh... Good luck with the crowd..." Danielle replied as she took the papers. She just decided to slip a few good words before she took her leave; her attendant did seem a little out of it. Her Murkrow decided to keep the key though; she was always fascinated by unknown objects. Once she folded her papers neatly, Danielle went off to find that boy with the Cottonee. She grinned as he took his key from an annoyed attendant at his desk. She recalled that he also knew some French. "All set to go this time, monsieur?" Danielle greeted her fellow student.
  15. My bad~ So, we both are from Kalos, have Prankster Pokes and are Coordinators... Wow o.o
  16. Once it was Danielle's turn in line, a Murkrow handed the sign up sheet to the attendant. The little bird then went back to her perch on Danielle's shoulder, surveying the crowds. "Well, Avis, this is it. You won't have to hide anymore." Danielle said to the Murkrow, giving her a pat.
  17. "Otto! Wait for us! It could be dangerous!" Artemis shouted as Otto ran into the crowd. She flew over the crowds to see if she could get a better view of the situation. As far as she could tell, the Machamp didn't seem to be in a good mood to negotiate with the Kecleon brothers and is ready to pummel them over. With that, she landed next to her teammates again. "Look, I don't mind breaking up the fight, but it's dangerous. That Machamp looks tough... Maybe would could try and break it up before we take any moves?"
  18. Oh, I get it now. I interpreted your post as Otto talking to all of us and Torrent as if we were together. Sorry for the confusion!
  19. True, but I don't think our ICs know that at this point in time.
  20. Hmm... Gen 1: Bulbasaur. I never really cared for Charizard unlike my childhood peers. Gen 2: Cyndaquil because of Quilava's design ^^ Gen 3: Torchic (And this is before it got Speed Boost!) Gen 4: I chose Turtwig because I hated Piplup no thanks to the anime and Chimchar didn't appeal to me. Gen 5: Snivy~ Gen 6: Froakie. Originally, I wanted Fennekin, but I didn't like Delphox's design so... Random Facts: --> I always have a flying type in my playthroughs. --> I don't like a lot of Water type Pokemon (as you can probably see from my signature). So, it's hard for me to use one when necessary; Pokemon Sapphire with it's abundance of water really made me scream... --> That being said, I choose Pokemon based on their designs rather than their stats or usefulness. Not saying that stats, movepools, and such are not of concern to me, they are just not as important. --> Generation 4 is the most forgettable Pokemon generation to me (and hence, my least favorite). Like, if you ask me something that came from Platinum, Diamond, or Pearl, I probably would not be able to answer you. --> Despite that, Giratina and the Distortion World is what made me buy a gen. 4 game in the first place. --> I rarely use items in-game. I'm patient enough to make the trip back to the Pokemon Center to save on money. --> Never used x-items. I sold them prior to 3rd gen when there is a separate slot for them. --> Patrat is my least favorite of the starter "rats." --> When I first played Pokemon Yellow (when I was 6 or 7), I was actually stuck on Agatha. Hence, I never actually completed the game until I picked up again when I was in my teens... --> I do not own a 2nd gen game. I finally played it on a rom.
  21. Wait, Torrent is still with us? I thought we lost him when we went ahead into town...
