"Beautiful~" Danielle complemented Jacob's Pokemon. "The Unova region, no? Isn't that where Skyla holds her Flying gym? My Murkrow is quite a fan of her's." --------------- Avis crowed a greeting as Lana rushed over to Danielle. Something was clearly wrong so she and Corona went to Danielle's side. Avis heard her whisper something about Alvin and trouble and flew above their heads to figure out what happened. ----------------- "Lana! Good morning! And... Are you okay? What happened?" Danielle questioned her roommate. Lana was shy but never worried before. Corona also happened to crawl up to Danielle's shoulder, crying as if something happened. "I... I'm guessing this is related?" She looked at the two. "Murkrow! Murkrow!" Avis answered her master as she perched on Danielle's remaining free shoulder. Avis then gave a series of cries and gestures to indicate that Lana saw Alvin and Evan were about to fight, and it was not a Pokemon battle either. "WHAT?" Danielle almost screeched. "Lana! Lead the way there! I'll follow you. Avis, go over there and stall them out or something. Corona, umm... You are staying here since I need a protector just in case." She turned to Jacob to explain the situation. "Jacob, do you mind coming with us? One of my friends is trying to start a fight and I doubt we can handle them by ourselves..." Without waiting for a reply, she ran after Lana.

My goodness Chim, you are giving Danielle way too much fun lol! Oh the birds and the bees (Since, you know, Alvin has a Combee and Danielle has a Murkrow. Right, right? Okay, no)

Woah, I thought Colin was in the last arena waiting for an opponent. That's why I waited with Jory. I haven't watched the anime fully since Dawn showed up (I didn't like her, sorry!) so the Zorua not talking is beyond my knowledge. ^^;

K_H is right on the Zorua talking to Ash and co. If I remember correctly, he was speaking to them telepathically.

((Typing from an IPod is a pain...)) Danielle looked at the arenas before giving her reply. She found Shiro engaged in a battle with Shun raring to go. She smiled knowing that the Butn Heal was a success. Perhaps she will go by and say hello later. "Why not? The arenas looked like they are filled up, so it will be a perfect chance to know each other more! Plus, you still haven't introduced me to your partners yet either~" Danielle then put Corona down on the ground to give her some time with Avis and Jacob's Pokemon. The sooner they get comfortable with one another, the better their teamwork will be. The girl then giggled at Jacob's comment. "That is correct, Monsieur. The guy in pink who was winking at you before, my dear friend Claude, is also from Kalos..." She paused at the mention of Helioptile, another Electric type she wasn't too fond of. She fiddled around with her glove straps as Jacob was blushing at his words. "Kalos... Does have some interesting types, Helioptile being one of them, but I'm more interested in the ones from other regions. Buuut, that's probably because I had never been out of Kalos before," Danielle said as she quickly recovered from her thoughts. "What about you? Judging by your words, I highly doubt you are from Kalos," she teased lightly.

"Chalchi..." Danielle pondered on it for a minute, stroking her Larvesta as Avis flew around them, chatting with her new friend. "That's a pretty name for such a Pokemon~ But it's better to make sure your Lapras will like it first. Some Pokemon have different tastes than our's~" Danielle replied. "And merci for the complement. I'm sure she will fit into it soon~" The duo arrived at the 3 battle arenas. Before they were able to get a chance to find an empty arena, a hyper Shinx ran up to the boy before it was picked up by its trainer. Danielle watched silently as the little apology took place, she took note of her companion's name while she thought about how to deal with a Lapras. While Danielle was lost in thought, Avis watched the Shinx warily and relaxed when it was safe in his trainer's arms. The Murkrow observed the trainer silently then and was confused to see him give a wink and a thumbs up to Jacob. What does that mean? Avis will have to ask her master later. After a quick look around, Danielle realized that Alvin was nowhere to be seen. With that, she turns to Jacob. "So, Jacob is it?, want to head over to an arena or do you want to watch your friends battle? It doesn't matter to me~" Danielle asked politely.

"Oh Claude! Now I see why you were upset about Alvin. However, you know there is more to it than that~" Danielle piped. "So, we had to find Alvin who ran away and---" Another guy walked towards her, only he seemed really nervous, unlike her groupmates here. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Henry backed off. "Excuse me, I don't know anything about what happened earlier, but your Murkrow looks really strong. I've never seen one in person before." "Aww, thank you, monsieur~ But, trust me, my Murkrow is more of a troublemaker than a fighter," Danielle giggled. "So, how should I address you? You were admiring Avis, and I'm her unfortunate trainer, Danielle. Nice to meet you!" Danielle had to grin when Claude was flirting with her Murkrow's admirer. "So Claude is gay or bisexual. No wonder he was acting weird around Alvin yesterday." Before she had the chance to continue the conversation, Professor Redwood came in with two others rolling tables with --- Pokeballs! After he finished his explanation on how to choose the Pokemon, her group (almost) raced towards the tables. Danielle laughed and called Avis to her side. Unlike her friends, she stayed behind, fiddling with her Pokedex, waiting for Alvin to --finally!-- pick up his Pokemon and run off. "Sorry for that, it looks like we have to finish this later--" It looks like her Murkrow admirer was already gone, too. Within a few minutes, he was back, challenging her to a battle. "Of course you can~ If things do not go according to plan, of course we can battle~" With that, she walked briskly towards the Bug type table and searched for an "L." "Bingo~" Danielle picked up the Bug/Fire type and walked off to a more secluded spot to release her second partner. "Alright, Avis, behave yourself." Danielle stroked Avis' wing. She could feel Avis' excitement; she was shuddering with anticipation. Danielle grinned and pressed the button. With a flash of light, a small, caterpillar-like bug appeared in front of her. It has red horns on its white head with small, blue eyes and tiny little feet at the bottom. As Danielle searched its data on the Pokedex, the Larvesta shook herself loose, making her look even more fluffy than before. Upon looking at Danielle and Avis, however, the Larvesta curled up, emitting little sparks of fire around her. "Aww, don't be afraid, little cutie," Danielle said softly, kneeling down to the Larvesta. "We don't bite~ My name is Danielle and this is Avis. We want to compete in contests and we would really like for you to join us. What do you say?" Danielle smiled as she held out her hand to the shy Pokemon. Avis flew down and gave her new partner a greeting; she was being careful not to spook out the Larvesta. The Bug/Fire type slowly uncurled herself and looked up at Danielle and then at Avis. The fiery sparks also seemed have to disappear. The Larvesta nodded shyly and crawled into Danielle's hand, giving a small cry of approval. Danielle brought her arm to her body and cradled the little bug. "Nice to meet you, too, little girl~" Danielle cooed, petting the Larvesta. Now, I need to give you a name... Since you're a female... How about Corona? After the Sun's crown? The Larvesta didn't respond for a few seconds before Danielle saw her nod. Corona looked up at her and chirped a little more loudly; she seemed happy with that. "Great!" Danielle beamed. She turned to the new guy and motioned the battlefield with her head. "Now, let's go!"

Danielle doesn't care who she faces, but I think when Alvin sees her Larvesta...

Danielle smiled at Slade's comment. At least her friends here know how to take a joke, unlike some bug-type trainer. "Well, since we all waiting here for Professor Redwood to come and give us our second Pokemon, does anybody want me to share the interesting story between Alvin and me? Claude and Henry can help out since they were there with me!" Danielle called to the crowd around her.

A small smiled appeared on Artemis' face as Rodrick and Cage reassured her that she was no trouble. Nevertheless, Artemis felt grateful for Team Trust and their amazing work. As Torrent proudly exclaimed that the team was also from Seacrest, Artemis even felt proud to be a part of this exploration castle, despite their harsh restrictions. "You there, Swablu," Michael, the Alakazam said suddenly, looking at Artemis. "Repeat that proposition you made to everyone just before you were taken hostage." "M-Me?" Artemis stammered, astonished that she was addressed by such a amazing Pokemon. "Um... I-I suggested that the townspeople can take whatever the supplies they need without needing to pay, or they can get their Poke back as well... It only seemed fair after what the con-men did d-during these past few months..."

"N-No, Rodrick, sir, you don't need to apologize at all! You saved my life, which I will be forever grateful for. And... I should be the one apologizing. I-I shouldn't have gotten in the way when I don't even know the whole story. Because of that, you and your team had more trouble to deal with..." Artemis replied despondently. Their teamwork and power awed her even while she had a Silver Spike held to her throat. The way the Alakazam, the Gengar and the Machamp dispatched the two Zoroarks with such ease made her skin crawl with excitement. However, she was also ashamed for being caught so easily. How could she have let her guard down just to play hero? She was, clearly, not up to stuff yet to boast such bravado.

You just had to say that Claude! I was dying in my chair when I read that! Oh, more ships are coming... But it looks like this is more subtle? xD

((Yo, dawg, if you knew how many times I got ninja'd, you won't be saying nothin.' ...Wow, such fail. Very embarrassing.)) "Hey Danielle, mind if I join this conversation?" A Growlithe yipped just as Slade's sentence ended. "Slade! Good morning to you too!" Danielle greeted the boy in the red fedora. "Oh, I wouldn't mind if you do but, if you want to preserve your sanity, I suggest you sit this one out." Then, she whispered, "I can tell you what happened later. Some of us hadn't caught up with it yet, so it will give me a good opportunity to let everyone catch up. You need to explain the Phantump Bowling though." “YOU’RE ALL NUTS!” Danielle looked on amusement as Alvin was pointing to everyone. All she said simply was, "Yeah, I'm the honey mustard one." before Alvin stormed into the gym. As the others began a more, light-hearted conversation once more, Danielle leaned herself against the wall. Like the others, she was also wondering what she would want as a partner. James did bring up a point with Avis' weaknesses to Fairy and Electric attacks, but Rock and Ice also presents a challenge. Ice can freeze her Pokemon cold, immobilizing them completely unless she has a Fire type. She could always train Avis to dodge those other types of attacks, so those 3 types can take a back seat for now. But what fire type can also be elegant in contests and not contribute more to her weaknesses already? She recalled what Alvin said earlier and, in a few minutes, she smirked. "Avis, may I bring a suggestion for our new teammate?" Her Murkrow flew over and allowed Danielle to whisper in her ear. A smirk also appeared on her bird face and nodded before flying back to rejoin Doux. She also invited Flare to join their little chat. "Well then," Danielle thought, "It may not help with all of my weaknesses, but that Pokemon is a start. Plus, it can cause so much more fun~"

"Y-You're right, J-James! Haha! I forgot about Fairy and... Electric types..." Danielle was finally able to calm down when she realized what James said. Electric types certainly didn't sit well with Danielle, recalling those Dedenne the elders had at Laverre City. She shook her head, clearing the dark thoughts that haunted her. "A Ferroseed? Hmm... That is quite an interesting type. I believe it's one weakness is Fire, no? It's a good choice if you ask me," Danielle smiled towards James. "And I'll will make sure to inform you and Evan of my glorious story--" “No, I’m not gay! I’m normal! Stop laughing!” Alvin yelled, furious at her amusement. "I'll tell you later when he's not around," Danielle whispered to James and Evan, with a wink. "My, my ma cherie, you seem to be enjoying yourself." "Claude, my dear! Oh, I'm just having the time of my life recalling our glorious adventure with Alvin yesterday to my two new friends here~ How are you, monsieur?" Danielle greeted her pink-clothed friend. -------------------------- Avis saw something flapping out of the corner of her eye. It turns out the flapping was her traveling companion, Doux! Avis greeted the Cottonee ecstatically and tried reassuring him that she was fine. The Murkrow then gave a quick summary of what had just transpired. ------------------------- The sudden bang on the wall instantly jolted Danielle out of her carefree mood. She found Evan in a rage, having Alvin pinned against a wall. Luckily, James got in between the duo to avoid a confrontation. She put a hand on Evan's shoulder, hoping to talk some sense. "Monsieur, James is right. We can't just let him ruin our moment of getting a second partner here. Just laugh it off, like I did! Come on, what do you say?" Danielle grinned.

Upon seeing Evan in pain, Danielle rushed over to the two boys. "Evan, are you okay? Maybe we could sit down inside or something..." "Oh, yeah it wasn't a big deal of a test for me neither... Wait, what? Is that guy gay?" Colin asked Danielle innocently. Avis, the Murkrow immediately bursted into laughter. She fell off of Danielle's shoulder and rolled around on the floor, evidently entertained by this spectacle. This was one the reasons why she decided to stay with Danielle; her master gets way too much fun. Danielle tried to suppress her laughter as she tried explaining to Colin. "W-Well, the thing is... That... Haha... I don't know. Y-You see... Hehe... I thought Alvin w-was knocked out yesterday, s-since he was being carried by t-two guys. But he wasn't! Pfftt... Um, So... I wanted to see w-why he was still being carried by two guys since he could walk and talk and... And... It was just so much fun to tease him! Ididn'tthinkhewouldtakeitsoseriously!" Danielle rushed off the last part of her story as she bursted out into laughter as well.

She gets around a lot Dobby is going to come up with something dirty with that, I know it.

"Oh, hello there, James," Danielle said abruptly, half startled by James' voice. "My name's Danielle. My partner here is Avis. Forgive me for sounding aloof just now. I was considering what Pokemon I would want considering Avis' weaknesses towards Rock and Ice types. How are you?" “AAH! The brute from yesterday!” Alvin yelled pointing at her. “I see you’re rather late, maybe you should study some more instead of bullying people! I bet you struggled with the bug type questions since such a delicate type is too much for you to understand!” Danielle turned around to face a comical Alvin and Evan (that's a better face to look at). She saw Evan's seething rage from behind Alvin's back; she wonders why. On the contrary to Danielle's nonchalant behavior, Avis was glaring Alvin for calling her master a brute. All of Danielle's friends that she met up with yesterday suddenly came around, thanks to Alvin's yelling. "Heeeyyy everyone! What did you think of the exam? And don't worry, Colin, we have more chances to talk after all, like right now!" Since Colin asked about the exam as well, she decided to hit two birds with one stone. "Well, I admit that the exam was challenging on some parts. Unfortunately for you, Alvin, I had no problems with the Bug type questions, thank you~ I mean, I do have a Murkrow you know. And, and, aaaannnddd did you just call me a brute and a bully? How ungraceful. I was only asking if you were gay. I wasn't suggesting anything else. Unless," she inched closer to Alvin with a smirk, "Unless you're a homophobe?"

Yesh please! Dat Larvesta so that I can torment Alvin with fire moves? :3

((I can see Danielle going over towards Evan and Alvin now just to make fun of Alvin.)) "Well, that was harder than expected," Danielle told Avis as she walked towards the gym. While taking the exam, Avis was doing some sightseeing from above the students' heads, leaving Danielle to type on the keyboard in peace. Danielle could hear the coordinators shuffling out towards the gym, eager to get their second Pokemon, but she paid them no mind. She would rather take her time to get the answers correct. After all, slow and steady wins the race. Avis looked at Danielle, allowing her to continue her thoughts. "Well, Avis, I felt confident in the types of berries and types of moves and such since we will be competing in contests. But I struggled with habitats and some dual type Pokemon that I never really hear about. I guess that is what I get for never traveling outside of Kalos, huh?" Her Murkrow gave a reassuring pat with her wing, followed by a happy "krow." Danielle gave a grin and stroked her wing. "You're right, it's not like the exam counted. We have 3 years here to work on that! Plus, we can get another partner! Isn't it neat?" Avis nodded. She wouldn't mind having a friend to talk with while Danielle was preoccupied with studies or other things. The bird was usually bored back at home when Danielle was busy with school work. "The question is, then, what Pokemon do we want? Will it be random? Can we choose? Hmmm..." Danielle pondered as she walked into the gym. She didn't notice that her friends were nearby.

My oh my~ Competition! lol! Honestly, I have no idea who Danielle will go for. She likes teasing/having fun with everyone.

Maybe you can put it in a spoiler tag down on the list of PCs? I only have a rough idea of the Pokes Danielle would get. I know her second is Larvesta/Volcarona, third is Ivysaur, and her (near?) last is Dragonair. I will post later today (near my lunch time).

It's still better than me. I missed the whole magical moment until I was done with my post lol! And my post is long, so not reading it was understandable. At least you caught up with Kage and Brian now~

I couldn't resist coming here one last to see what this ship is about. All I have to say is *whistles* @Jory: I don't want to be mean, but Danielle was taken by Slade. (Not that way lol) You might need to edit your post since I'm done for the night. (They could have met up while they went to their dorms? It's up to you)

Danielle listened intently as she took some bites of her food, nodding to what Slade is saying after each pause. Once he finished, she was done with the hot dogs and was starting on the steak. "Oh my goodness, Ariados taking over your room and setting fire to them to kick them out, went "Phantump bowling" with Devin, and you said it's not an interesting story? That's way better than what I have to offer. Your story explained why Shun, the Ralts got the burn from. It also explained that fire Avis saw earlier and caused all of us to go insane," Danielle laughed. "Second, you mentioned a roommate. I believe I seen him once I left the forest. He was asking Claude, the guy wearing pink, about a guy with a red fedora and a Growlithe, and you two seem to fit the bill. Unfortunately, he left before I could catch his name. He didn't even wait for us to get to the Contest Hall." She sighed, taking a quick sip from her cup. "My story wasn't too great: It heated up when Avis decided to fly off on her own towards my roommate, Lana, who was in her room at the time, with Claude's Cottonee in tow. Both of us were still at the registration area, so we had to get over there quick. Things, luckily, turned out well; we met up with Lana and her Rhyhorn aaaannnnd Claude ran away screaming his head off towards the boys' dorm. So, Lana and I went after him to see if he's okay when Avis saw the smoke from your fire. I told Avis to find out what happened there, and she decided to chase after Devin and you without giving any sort of warning. Due to a past event, I was afraid Avis was hurt so, after finding Claude, we ran into the forest to search for this little troublemaker. Avis turned out to be with Devin, Shiro, and you. The rest is pretty much history. But, I will say, you missed us messing with Alvin, that kid Devin told us to get. He seriously cannot take a joke, which makes it so much fun to mess with him..." Danielle then proceeded to explain what Colin and Evan told her about Professor Redwood's speech. Everything about the battle system, the obtainable dragons, their second partner, and class time was given to Slade, with a little help from Avis, who remembered Danielle's missing information. The moon was fully present now and their dinner was finished. Avis was perched on Danielle's shoulder once more, her eyes glazed with sleep. "Well, that's all I have, I hope that helps," Danielle said sheepishly. "It's not much since I didn't hear it personally, but I doubt they left anything important behind. Unfortunately, while I do enjoy our conversation, I need to get back to my room. I still need to unpack and get ready for tomorrow." Danielle stood up and stretched herself out. "Oh, that felt good! Anyways, Slade and Flare, I need to bid you adieu until the next time we meet. It was such a great night spent. Good night~" With that, she waved a goodbye, picked up her huge, empty tray, and began walking towards her dorm, making sure that she threw out her tray first, of course.
