As it is now, Karrablast would probably be more suited to the battling portion, which is an option for you to exploit. Claude's objective with Lance, then, would be to take out the opponent before the timer runs out (it doesn't matter if the moves are unappealing then). The only thing I could think of right now is Lance using Energy Ball (TM move) to counter an attack; it could give Lance a way to create a sparkly green display over the field.

Looks like it, not that it is a bad thing. I was so afraid that I will get four pages to catch up on like you did, Stratos. Yeah, that makes sense. Btw, you and Murdoc did a great job with RyanxKage. I was smiling the whole time while I was reading both of your posts. Since the weekend is here, I'm sure it will more likely to happen. Then again, this is up to Jory and ExLink, so I can't say much about it.

"I guess that is one way to put it," Danielle said quietly as Henry excused himself away from them. "But it only gives a better reason for the both of you to learn from one another..." Avis crowed, agreeing with her master as Henry walked, no it was more like limped, away from the group with Tal, the Snorunt. The Murkrow didn't say a word, however. Jacob's outrage at Slade's tactic brought Danielle and Avis' attention back to the battlefield. Teo and TX were nowhere to be seen. However, Danielle and Avis were surprised at how angry Jacob is. They could hear him yelling about Slade's "dishonest, underhanded, and overall deceitful tactic," and about how TX had attacked itself into fainting. Both of them looked at Corona for confirmation. The tiny Larvesta only chirped to them and nodded sadly. Avis blinked and looked at Slade with a strange look that seems to be a mixture of respect and disgust. 'There has to be a reason... right?' Danielle thought, refusing to believe it. The coordinator looked at Jacob as he sent out Chalchi with the beautiful snowflakes surrounding her. "It's really scary to see him this mad... I can see why, if this is true, but it's not going to help out in a battle... I hope he get it under control soon; otherwise, this will be another one of my meltdown battles." -
You just have to make me post at least once before I have my fun at comic con... Oh, you guys and your ships and bitterness. Anyways, last post from me until tonight. Feel free go bunny if necessary.

Danielle giggled before she gave a look to Avis says "See? I'm not the only one." Things, however, started to go sour when a fellow coordinator, Henry, spotted Kenny. Then, Doux, in his embarrassment, released a Fairy Wind in order to shrink himself back to his normal size. "Avis, blow it up!" she quickly commanded, leaving them unscathed by the sparkles. "Phew," Danielle sighed before addressing Henry and Kenny. "Hey, you two. I could tell that you're not on good terms with one another, but that doesn't mean one is in the right and the other in the wrong. I'm sure everyone has a reason for what they did. How about we try to listen?" Danielle then turned to Claude. "Maybe Doux is going through a phase?" -

The three girls gasped in surprise as Zorro took on Danielle's form before Kenny made him switch back. This made Avis even more curious about the Zorua and she began walk/hopping around him. "No no, it's fine. I just never thought I would get to see your Zorua's Illusion this close. It was actually quite fascinating!" Danielle replied in awe. Before she could go on, Danielle heard a bang from the battlefield. A cloud of dust was covering Slade's side before it revealed a fainted TX. It was no surprise to her, but she felt a little sad when she saw Slade's disappointed look. "Come on, Slade! Jacob is right! Are you really going to give up so easily?" she managed to tease. -

"Correct~" Danielle replied, putting the tissue back in her pocket. "Stun Spore, you said. Umm..." she looked at the floating Cottonee that is passing everyone. "That would probably explain it. Haha... Doux, dear, I think you are releasing a little too much Stun Spore~" Corona and Avis went over to Kenny and his team to give their hellos. Avis was particularly interested in the Zorua, being another Dark type and all. -

"Oh, you're Kenny right?" Danielle asked. She remembered seeing him in class. Although they never really had a conversation, having a Zorua that loves to transform into his master is pretty unique here. She decided to follow his example and pulled out a tissue to cover her nose. By the time she reached her Pokemon, they seemed to have stopped sneezing and are now catching their breath. "Are you okay, girls?" Danielle asked. The gave small cries of confirmation before they looked at Kenny, Ryu and Zorro. "That's good. I can't have my partners tired out right before an expedition, you know~" Danielle turned her attention to Kenny. "So, you were saying that you, or rather we, were affected by...?" -

"That is indeed troubling," Danielle admitted. She learned that Karrablasts, like Murkrows, are well known for battling. In fact, she doubt she has ever seen it or its evolved form in a contest before... "It's moves are more about attacking Pokemon, especially that Fury Attack... Perhaps you can use those pink disks as target practice to make him shine. I have seen some Pokemon on TV that used that technique and it was quite effective with the crowd. But, uh... That's just an idea, y-you don't have to follow it," Danielle stopped herself, realizing that she was rambling at the end. "I'm sure you can figure out a better way though; you're a smart cookie after all~" She then heard her Pokemon sneeze very loudly. They didn't sound normal... "Avis, Corona, are you two alright? Don't tell me you caught the cold all of a sudden." Avis was busy sneezing and trying to blow away the powder away from her while Corona was releasing embers as she sneezed, burning out the powder as result. Due to her body constantly shaking, little sparks are also seen around her body. Somehow, Corona managed to let out a few squeaks to indicate that something was in the air where Doux was floating by them. "Claude, is it just me or is there something in the air that is making my Pokemon have sneezing fits?" Danielle said, trying to contain her laughter at the amusing sight as well. -

"Well, my jovial friend, unfortunately, I didn't hear get to hear who initiated this friendly battle. By the time I found out about this, the battle was already initiated. I was busy trying to perfect those fire rings and Avis' aerial dive." Danielle responded as she continued watching Jacob and Slade's battle. "Are you sure you're alright, Claude? You know I don't mind hearing you out. I mean, it's the least I could do after you helped me with my fear." Avis flew around Doux, puzzled by this sudden playfulness. Normally, Doux would just settle himself on her head or come down and talk to her and Corona. Avis glanced at Corona, inviting her to join the speculation. Danielle's Larvesta crawled to Avis and Doux, glancing at the battle every once in a while. She is not worried about leaving Danielle there; Danielle has her friends with her now so nothing bad could happen. -

Danielle perked up at the words "Glass Castle" before Claude greeted them with his glorious entrance, as usual. "Bonjour, mes amis! Glad to have you join us watch this spectacular battle!" she chimed. "How are you?" Avis broke out of her thoughts and crowed her two friends. Her feathers immediately flattened out as she flew over to Doux, eager to see him again. Corona also chirped happily, but stayed in place. The Larvesta wanted to see how a Magnemite could get out of the Glass Castle that caused her so much trouble the first time she faced it. Danielle and her team were impressed as TX shot out of the castle unscathed. Since that battle with Jacob, Danielle has been allowing Corona to practice getting out of the castle with the use of her Flame Charge and String Shot, but it was still a difficult feat. She was curious to see how this can really play out for Slade, since he is still at a huge type disadvantage. -
Yo, Azery, get back to the RP section! Giving their abilities and where you are in the game also helps. From what I see though: Absol should have a physical attack over Flamethrower since its Sp. Atk isn't great. Maybe Psycho Cut for coverage? Nidoking looks good to me if it is has Sheer Force. Gardevoir could have Calm Mind instead of Rain Dance (unless you're planning for Charlotte now, then I can see why it's there). And that Honchkrow should be named Avis

Basically, Ash tried to catch something else. However, everytime he throws a Pokeball, a Tauros ran in front of it. ^That coordinator with the Dragonair is me xP I'm not going for Dragonite (as least as far as my plans go) and there is no species clause so...

Danielle smiled meekly, still not moving away from Lana. She was glad that Colin decided to change the subject, even if it is only a little less relevant. "Merci, the work is done by those two, mostly. And yes, I will have to. My team is way to weak to Rock types and I still don't have a good option to deal with Fairy types... So, I am going for that Steel type that can deal with both those weakness and my fear. Go figure, right?" She chuckled a little at the irony. "Cel and Kyte are looking well too. Any plans for your new member?" -

Danielle got her act back together when Colin arrived to join the party of spectators. "Hi, Colin! Just finished training and---" "Cleffa!" Danielle jumped as the peppy little fairy was sitting on Evan's head. Yes, it's not going to kill her and Cleffa was the savior of Evan's match with Alvin, but the coordinator was still nervous around it, nonetheless. She unconsciously inched closer to Lana while giving it a wave. Seeing Danielle's less dramatic outburst at the innocent Fairy-type gave Avis and Corona a sigh of relief. During the past six weeks in school, Avis, Corona and the rest of Danielle's friends (mostly Jacob, Slade and, to a lesser extent, Lana and Claude) have been trying to stop Danielle from freaking out about Electric and Fairy types. The first battle with an Electric Pokemon the two fought didn't go over too well: Corona was left to fend for herself while Danielle almost cried. This was shortly followed by a battle with a Flabébé where Danielle hid behind Jacob. It took approximately two weeks of exposure to such Pokemon until Danielle was finally showing more notable signs of improvement. Not only did her fear began to dwindle down, her BP also began to rack up more quickly. Then again, it was probably because Danielle bet more on those trainers that preyed on her to get back her fair share. -
I won't be around the whole day tomorrow (comic con) so I'll decline the match with James to avoid holding up the RP. Btw, where is Claude? I purposely set up the fire rings so that he would notice and come running over with a rainbow trailing behind him.

As the battle between Slade and Jacob was about to begin, Avis finished off her FeatherDance dive bomb and landed, none to gracefully, besides Danielle. Corona went over to Avis and gave her a compliment; the coordinator-in-training stroked Avis' wing before placing Avis on her shoulder. "Not bad, we just need to work on your landing. But for now, girls, it looks like we have a battle to observe. Maybe Jacob and Slade can give us a few more combos to try out, oui?" Avis only eyed her master with the same grin as before. "W-What? You're still on that? Can I not be flustered over a compliment?" Danielle questioned her Murkrow. Avis only rolled her eyes and settled to preening her feathers. 'I'm just happy to see him happy, that's all. Isn't it normal to feel the same way as your friend?' Danielle thought as she walked over to the sidelines of the battlefield with Corona crawling alongside. 'Danielle is full of surprises alright. I don't get what she sees in that Murkrow wannabe, but it is interesting to see her this way.' Avis thought as she plucked out a few loose feathers, dropping them to Corona to use as a target practice for her Ember. 'If I had to choose, Jacob would be the prime choice. He's wiser and more mature than Slade; Jacob has the means to protect my master better...Then again, Slade did share a similar experience like Danielle's... But he didn't have to run away like a little kid...' She finally fluffed out her feathers and settled down, her body looking like that of a Honchkrow's again. She gave up trying to figure out the intricacies of human infatuation. This, Avis begrudgingly admitted to herself, is probably the one thing she will never understand. 'I guess humans look for more than just safety and strength. Nevertheless,' Avis glanced at Slade and Flare, 'If they dare hurt Danielle, they better not expect any mercy from me.' Unlike Avis, Corona has a more positive outlook on Slade, although it may be because she had spent more time with them when they needed her help to perfect Flare's Ember. However, she still shared the same amusement as Avis on seeing their master being as shy as herself. 'I don't see why Avis is so uptight about Slade. Slade and Flare are really nice and funny! And our master seems to find them funny too! And, if it wasn't for them, Danielle would not have made that much progress in getting over her past. So, if they are happy together, than what is the problem?' The three finally made their way to Lana and her little group. Danielle proceeded to greet Lana, Mareek and Evan. Corona chirped before looking at the two guys. 'I know Jacob likes my master and he's really helpful too, but I can't force Danielle to like someone else. It's just how some things work in life...' -

((I'll make it before Flare was able to hit Teo.)) "G-Glad I was able to help," Danielle said quietly to herself as Flare's Flame Bursts began to look, well, more like Flame Bursts. She blushed as she watched Flare's fire lit up Slade's eyes. 'He looks so happy... I'm glad I was able to make that happen.' "Krow?" Danielle snapped out of her daze and found that Avis and Corona stopped their routine to look at their red-faced master. Avis was grinning and Corona was chirping. It sounded like a giggle of sorts. "W-When did you get here?" Danielle stammered, trying to calm her racing heart. "Get b-back to those fireworks! I-I didn't say y-you were done!" Avis and Corona only glanced at one another in amusement before flying off. "And don't you dare think about making those in the sky!" Danielle shouted. She heard a disappointed cry from Avis before the loop-de-loops appeared again. -

"Okay, you two, you know the drill." Danielle turned to her Pokemon, who stood facing each other. They were both separated by a good amount of distance in between, almost like they are in a battlefield. "You can only use your recovery move once, time limit being 1 minute, and I will not be making any commands. When both of you are ready..." Her Pokemon both stiffen their muscles at her countdown. "Begin!" Corona used her String Shot to try and capture Avis. The Murkrow's immediately shone a brilliant silver as it shielded Avis' body, deflecting the silk threads. Corona countered with Flame Charge, raising her speed to try and take advantage of Avis' moment of preoccupation... ------------ After 45 seconds have passed, Avis had already used her Roost while Corona still has her's to spare. However, the fire bug was getting tired; she has to use Morning Sun as soon as she can in order to keep going. Avis was taking advantage of that and kept the pressure on her teammate. This, however, made Avis too predictable for Corona. When Avis came in for another attack, Corona fired off an Ember that streamed across the sky instead of her regular bullet-like flames. Avis crowed in surprise as she was caught in the flames; she had no time to prepare a FeatherDance to defend herself. "Time!" Danielle called as Avis landed on the grass. "Roost and Morning Sun now!" Her two Pokemon were then surrounded by the signature white light as Danielle walked over to the middle of their self-designated field. She knelt down to be at their level as the came to her to hear the results. Danielle patted both of them on the heads, clearly satisfied with their workout. "Corona, can you do that Ember again? I have an idea for an appeal..." ------------ If anybody looked up at the sky, there would appear to be rings of fire that are crackling like fireworks. Near them, a small bird carried a bug that was spitting out a stream of Ember on the black bird's back.
