  1. I had a feeling you would say that...@Commander: He may or may not have broken his ankle. That hurts too!
  2. And now he gets a bus ride with his favorite person in the world too. This is just not Ryan's day.
  3. "Danielle, whenever you're ready we should go find that Salamence." Danielle turned around to find Jacob walking in a certain direction; he looked so serious about this mission. 'And from what we first started.' Her expression became somber, dreading the awkward confrontation again. She gave one last pat to a nearby, eating Haxorus before she heard a sad chirp by her feet. Danielle looked down to find a nervous Corona looking up at her with her small, blue eyes. The coordinator knelt down and gave her a reassuring smile as she took out her Larvesta's Pokeball. "Don't worry about me, Corona, I can handle it. I'll let you back out soon, okay?" The bug Pokemon gave a look towards Avis and nodded before she was absorbed into the spherical ball. Danielle then stood up and began walking towards Jacob, holding out her Dusk Ball to Avis. "Avis...?" The Murkrow shook her head; Teo is around, why can't she? Avis gave her a friendly peck on her ear before she fluffed herself up and closed her eyes; her mind was made up. Danielle pat her and put away her Dusk Ball. "Thank you, Avis," she whispered to her overly-curious bird before turning to Jacob. "Let's go Salamence hunting then!"
  4. How do you know if the scores are real? RoG could just be making it up to trick Evan into joining them.
  5. "That's n-not how it looks! I-I'm sorry sir!" Danielle quickly got up and bowed, her cheeks flushed red from embarrassment. Avis also gave a sort of bow as she went back on her master's shoulder. Normally, she would come to Danielle's defense (Corona did help with the String Shot), but Devin's stern gaze made the curious bird think otherwise. As Devin, Slade and Ryan left her and Jacob, alone, Danielle sighed before turning to the Haxorus, who were still standing there with them. She chuckled, pulled out three Oran Berries and walked over to them with her hands outstretched. "I have to apologize to you, too. I didn't mean to hurt any of you. So, want some berries before we go find Salamence?" Avis followed suit and crowed them an apology as well. --------------- On the ground, Corona was making a sort of giggling sound before she made her way over to Danielle's side. Oh, she did see what had happened, but she kept her mouth shut to avoid breaking the moment.
  6. As Slade fell back into the grass, Avis quickly flew to the ground and landed next to his face, chuckling at his humor. Avis resisted the urge to remove his fedora; Slade's retracting steps and his hints are good enough to say he's not ready to reveal it yet. So, she settled with giving Danielle a warning glance to say, "Don't push it." --------- Danielle nodded towards Avis and laughed at Slade's antics. She knelt down besides Avis and poked his arm. "Monsieur, are you sure you don't need me to check up on you? I have been known to treat some ailments, you know~" she replied with humor laced in her words.
  7. What have I just started? Lol! At least I didn't Raichu a love song or something xP
  8. Avis looked at Slade in the eyes gave him a look that says "You wanna find out?" She then gave what seems to be a laugh. Danielle chuckled, "Well, I had the pleasant opportunity to tell you that her talons are sharp and strong. That's how I got the scar on my right eye, after all~" Her pleasant demeanor, however, was replaced by one with shock when she processed Slade's first statement. "Wait... She hit you... with a Wing Attack?!" Danielle almost screamed. "Avis!" The said Murkrow crowed indignantly and gestured to the headphones and the Haxorus. "You silly bird! You saw that the Haxorus didn't harm anyone, you don't have to hit anyone in the face then! Slade, I'm so sorry, s-she didn't hit you that badly right?" Danielle stammered before getting closer to him, trying to examine his face for any signs of a mark.
  9. The hype is real. I was only playing around when I said "chill out" because, you know, ice types are naturally chilly and all. Right? Right? Okay, I'll stop...
  10. Danielle put the headphones on and closed her eyes, focusing on the instrumentals. The beat was, as Slade described, fast-paced, but still understandable. Before she even realized it, the song had ended, much to her disappointment. She smiled and took off the headphones, handing them back to their rightful owner. "Thank you for letting me into your world~ No wonder you were so lost in it. That was a really catchy tune, although it made me want to dance a little," she chuckled, scratching her head in embarrassment. Danielle then noticed that Avis was sitting on Slade's shoulder, which was a sight to behold. That Murkrow only sat on people that Avis trusted; so far, only she and Jacob had gotten the honor. "Oh, Slade, looks like you are the third person to gain Avis' praise. See, she only sits on the people she cares about. What did you do?"
  11. Chalchi and Glacien were the two that came to my mind when I made that post lol! Turbo, 'chill out' with that joke. I'm sure there are more opportunities for that~
  12. Danielle pretended to sigh and shake her head in disbelief. She respected him for minding his own business, but she didn't expect him to take it that far. Heck, Ryan was there eavesdropping on the whole conversation after all. "Well, I can't really blame you. We never expected a Haxorus meeting after all." Danielle admitted before pointing to his headphones. "Just what were you listening to that turned you into a such daydreamer?" ------- The Murkrow only looked on at the conversation as a silent audience. Considering Slade's explanation, maybe she overreacted back there. Not listening in on things that he shouldn't be is a quality to be admired. With that in mind, Avis flew over to Slade and sat on his shoulder, making herself comfortable by fluffing out her feathers and settling her head in them.
  13. Hmm... We do have ice type pokemon with "us." We could consider that.
  14. Since we are in chapter 2 now, she would probably react the same way she did to the Cleffa: Cautious but respectful. Once she gets used to it, she's fine.
  15. Avis is not amused by your shenanigans, Slade. Avis flew over to Danielle and perched on her shoulder, dumbfounded at how Slade didn't hear the struggle between the three in the field. As she pondered on how that could have happened, Avis heard faint sounds of music coming from... the headphones. The Murkrow rolled her eyes at his nonchalance. She'll let her master will explain it, somehow. "Uh... You could say that..." Danielle said meekly, looking over at the damage done to that part of the forest. "We thought they were trying to attack us so we ran for our lives..." she paused for a second; something didn't quite fit into the equation. "Talking about that, didn't you hear anything when Jacob was calling you? Actually, did you hear anything at all? Ryan got injured while we were trying to get away. And I sent Avis to rescue you until we found out that they were harmless." At that, Avis huffed before falling silent again.
  16. Danielle blinked and face palmed as she realized something. They are all in Devin's backyard, and those Haxorus are his dragons. He said he told them to act like wild ones... "Of course, Haxorus are known to be territorial, that's why the snuck up on us like that!" As if confirming her suspicions, Danielle saw Professor Cadmus coming out of nowhere to explain the situation. "Crap," she turned to the hole with the Haxorus, who are being slowly lifted up with Teo's Sand Tomb. "Corona, melt the ice as well as the String Shot. Be careful not to hurt them." She then addressed the dragon master, her head hung low in shame. "I'm sorry Professor. They caught us by surprise so we thought they wanted to attack us..." --------- Corona nodded and crawled over to the three struggling dragons. She chirped to them a few times before she melted the ice and the threads with Ember. Corona then chirped again, but her voice seemed more quiet, as if she was issuing an apology. --------- In the meantime, Avis, in her frustration (as well as Robert's), sent a Wing Attack to Slade's face to get his attention. It wasn't enough to injure him... Much.
  17. I'm going to give ExLink a chance to respond first before I make a post again. Maybe he will be the one to notice that the Haxorus aren't attacking them.
  18. You know, now that I think about it, Chimchain did give us a hint here: We are in DEVIN's garden... I doubt he would pleased if his dragons killed his students...
  19. Danielle scrambled to pick up Corona before running alongside Jacob and Ryan. "You did your best, little one. But save the rest for one that is running after us, okay?" she told her bug Pokemon. Corona squeaked with glee and proceeded to keep watch from Danielle's shoulder. Seeing that Corona is content, Danielle addressed Ryan's question. "Believe me, Ryan, I would love to help the others out, but we need to get ourselves to safety first if we ever want that to happen. And I'm sure those students have the same idea as us, although I don't know if they are compassionate enough to care for the others as much as you."
  20. I recommend you save that 12% Chim. @Murdoc: Oh, where Danielle when Kage said that? She could have used that advice (and still does). Lol
  21. "Nice idea!" Danielle waved Avis to Slade's direction before she turned to run back towards the forest. However, Danielle saw that Ryan was falling behind. He seems to be limping. 'Those Haxorus can get him for sure at this rate.' She turned her head towards the forest and yelled, "Corona, I need you! Use String Shot to bind Ryan's leg up! Avis, take Corona's place and help out Slade! Jacob! We have a wounded warrior here!" ----------------- Corona heard her master calling and Flame Charged her way to Danielle as Avis flew by her. The Larvesta looked at Ryan's injured ankle and quickly let out her silk threads to bind the injury firmly. Although it would still hurt Ryan, it will do until they get proper medical treatment back at Devin's house. Corona looked at the two draogns struggling to climb out of the slippery hole with their hands and tusks. Without a command from Danielle, she fired out more String Shots towards them to wrap their bodies in order to buy them some time.
