    "Oh so thats why you came to the forest, anyways how was the ralts, and did you make it to the assembly on time?" Slade asked a little curious about what happened during his endeavor. "Mhm," Danielle nodded, taking a bite of her hot dog before responding. "The Ralts had a nasty burn on his hand, but I gave it a Burn Heal so that Shiro, that's the Ralts' trainer, can take him to a healing station. So, he should be a-okay by now, I hope... I sort of lost them after going inside the Contest Hall..." She took a sip of water to clear her throat. "And nope, I apparently arrived right at the end of it. However, I did find two guys who are kind enough to tell me what happened." Danielle took a look at Slade. "Since you are the one who took those Trevenants and Phantumps, I'm guessing you didn't make it to the meeting. So, want to trade stories?"

    "Perfect!" Danielle ran over to the table and separated her food with Avis'. As soon as that was complete, Avis went over to her food and began tearing her steak apart with relish. "And yes, I am. It's all thanks to my little bird here; she flew off into the woods so I had to go find her with the other two." Danielle laughed. "My name is Danielle and the Murkrow is Avis, the troublemaker." Avis gave a muffled cry as a greeting, no thanks to the food in her mouth. "A pleasure to meet you both, Slade and Flare~ Why don't you sit down so we can chat while we eat, non?"

    **Shortly after Danielle asked Evan about the details** A guy with sky blue hair with a Mudkip on his shoulder approached them. "Eeeh, yeah, you did miss quite a lot of stuff." He said, stepping nearer the duo. "But hey, no worries, we can go to the barbecue and explain those to you in the way!" The suggestion was followed by an approving "kip" from the Mudkip, whose name happens to be Kyte. Danielle smiled happily. Now she has two guys willing to help her out. "I would love that!" She had held out her hand as a greeting. "My name is Danielle. This Murkrow is my partner, Avis. Pleasure to meet you, good sir. May I have your name?" ------------------------------------------- **Back at the barbecue** "Hmm... I wonder where Colin and Kyte went afterwards. Maybe I should have waited for him..." Danielle thought, still not finding a familiar face in the horde of students. "Excuse me, girl with the murkrow can I steal you for a moment and ask you a couple of questions?" Danielle turned to face a guy with a fedora and a Growlithe chewing on a bone. Didn't she hear about someone asking where he was before? "Why, sure thing~" Danielle smiled politely. "But first, can we find a seat? This tray is getting so heavy and I'm so tired from that trek of mine in the forest." ((Since Colin met with Danielle, I am assuming they know each other's names.))

    "Ugh," Artemis growled. "I hate helping out those Kecleon brothers, but we are not going to get anywhere like this." Without another second, she flew above the heads of the Pokemon and landed in front of the brothers. "STOP! JUST WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING? Do you all really think you are in the right by hurting them?!" Artermis shouted towards the crowd. "I agree that they have cheated you; they are crooks! But if you decided to hurt them out of spite, you just determined that you are no better than they are! Think about it, would Officer Magnezone and his crew thank you for hurting another Pokemon? No, he would say that YOU also had a hand in violence. YOU are breaking the law by inflicting pain on others." Artemis stepped to the side, allowing the brothers and the crowd to see each other. "Why don't we calm down and settle this like reasonable Pokemon? For example, the brothers can offer up all of their supplies or your money back and you won't have to pay a Poke for it. Otherwise," she flapped her wings, "I will go and get Officer Magnezone down here to settle it once and for all."

    Danielle's jaw almost dropped as Professor Redwood finished up with his last words. Since when did Professors actually tell important stuff on the first day of arrival? Certainty not back at her hometown. The crowd of students began dispersing to the cafeteria as Danielle pondered on those words. "Last free meal...? Battle Point system...? And tournaments?" It looks like she going to need more than just a summary of today's speech. She turned towards Evan with a smile. "Good sir, my name is Danielle and this is my partner, Avis. If you be so kind as to spare a few minutes of your time to tell me the details of those four things... No, three things, the second Pokemon is self-explanatory... You just listed, I will be your best friend forever~" ((Chim, I'm just going to skip the conversation and let Evan go his way. Hope that is okay with you.)) ------------------------------ "Merci beaucoup, Evan!" Danielle thanked Evan by giving him a quick hug. "I'll make sure to repay you someday. Just let me or Avis know if you need anything!" She and Avis waved goodbye to Evan and his Eevee as the two girls left the Contest Hall. "Well, Avis, it looks like we are left behind. Let's go get some food before we head back to our room, okay? We still need to sort out our stuff for class tomorrow." Avis let out a cry of approval and let her master carry her to the barbecue. ----------------------------- Once the duo arrived, they went their separate ways to grab their respective food. Danielle got herself some wings, two hot dogs, a half-done steak (Tauros steak, she assumed) and a cup of water. Avis cried for her help to carry a small bowl of seeds, specifically reserved for bird type Pokemon that can't really dine on most meats, and a piece of raw, tender steak. Once Danielle got them all on a huge tray, she looked around to see if she could find any familiar faces.

    So many posts in such short time @.@ Oh, yeah, in regards to Commander's post about Alvin and Bennett: I'm not going to lie, I forgot about Bennett completely. .-. Ah! Wait for me!! I'm still at the contest hall lol!

    "Oh dear, someone just can't take a joke~" Danielle teased, giving Alvin space for him to leave. "Either that or he is a homophobe..." "Please, Danielle, my lovely, PLEASE do not suggest such a rank thing again," Danielle heard Claude said while trembling with fear behind Lana. Danielle gave a thumbs up to indicate she understood as Claude walked through the doors of the Contest Hall. She wondered, however, what had gotten into him. Either he is a homophobe as well... Or Claude is gay and is disgusted by the fact that Alvin was trying to hit on him? Her concentration was broken by Shiro's high-pitched squeak and Henry walking around the entrance. She found Shiro introducing himself to Lana, so nothing seems out of the ordinary. With that, Danielle decided to follow Claude through the doors. They have stalled long enough as is. "Lana, Henry, Shiro, and corresponding Pokes, let's go listen to the honorable Professor! We can talk later~ Avis, come back and behave. The authorities are inside." Danielle called before entering the Contest Hall. -------------------------- Avis zoomed right past the doors that Danielle was holding back to land on her shoulder. However, Avis' eyes landed on Evan, who was eyeing at them from a distance. Avis poked Danielle and pointed to Evan. Danielle looked at Evan for a brief second before she looked for a seat. Seeing that the hall is filled, she took her place besides the guy. "So," she whispered, "Did I miss anything important?"

    "Oh, good! You're okay! Yaaay~" Danielle clapped as if she was entertaining a child. She gave Claude a quick look that says "You're right," before addressing the now alert Alvin. "What I was doing was an examination on whether or not your alive, duh~ Dead people don't sneeze," she rolled her eyes as she put her black feather in the bag. "Since I got your attention now, why aren't you walking by yourself? It doesn't look like you're bleeding or anything unless..." Danielle gasped before continuing, "Unless, of course, this is your excuse to try and get close to Claude and Henry! Is that it? I didn't know you are gay! Not like I mind, of course. They are so fun to be around with! Did you find anything interesting while you were ignoring us? You just have to spill it out now. I mean, like, we are trying to get to know one another and..." Danielle continued rambling the same nonsense, jumping around Henry, Claude, Shiro and Lana before returning to Alvin; she was having too much fun teasing the poor boy to notice that the Contest Hall was looming right over them. -------- Avis was chuckling at Danielle's attempt to include Alvin into their group. He was, clearly, annoyed at her feather antic, but that didn't stop her master. Avis decided to take flight once more to reach their destination; walking is just not her strong suit. While circling around, she noticed a strange patch of green on Shiro's shirt. That was odd; grass doesn't stain that much. Avis propped herself on his shoulder and looked at the stain and back at Shiro. She repeated the same actions until he noticed it.

    lol! I will get Avis to do it. Actually, I was planning on having us arrive at the Contest Hall in my next post. I think we are late enough ^^

    Danielle giggled. "Ah, I'm not worried. We will wow Professor Redwood and make it up! By the way, wasn't there a guy with a Scyther before? Does anybody know his name? I didn't quite catch it." She turned to Claude, trying to gauge his reaction to that question. She was trying hard not to smirk at him. Avis decided to try her luck with Zuko, the Vulpix, so she flew down to walk-hop beside him.

    "Well, make that 3 coordinators then," Danielle piped out with a grin. "Glad to see that I am not surrounded by trainers~" Returning to Claude's comment on Alvin, she replied, "Oh, Claude, maybe we are approaching him the wrong way~ Avis, darling, can you drop a feather?" Avis landed on her shoulder after a second and pulled out a small feather. Instead of flying back up to observe the view, however, she stayed at her perch, curious about what Danielle wants to do. Danielle stroked Avis a little before tickling Alvin's nose with the feather. "Time to wake up~"

    As the group walked towards the Contest Hall, Avis was flying above their heads. The black bird was enjoying the slight updraft, which allows her to sail by without flapping her wings so much. She kept a eye out on the group in case her master needed her while she enjoyed the sun setting from above. ------------ On the ground, Danielle managed to fall in line with Henry and Claude, who were hoisting up Alvin. She found it strange that the two guys had to carry Alvin around, since he didn't seem injured. He's probably tired, but not injured, right? With that in mind, she decided to poke some fun. "Hey, guy in the middle, I know you bumped your head an all, but considering how much time has passed since then, you should be fine by now. If not, I can give you a quick examination~" she said with a wink.

    Lol! I always found Laverre to be more traditional than the other cities, so it may have stemmed from that. You got a curse in there though. That makes up for it.

    "No problème~ It does take a while to get used to doing this." Danielle smiled, taking the bandage back into her own hands. After checking out the trainer's work, she swifty tied it up and admired their handiwork as the group are holding conversations. Danielle noticed how Claude seemed... more quiet than normal? around that guy he was talking to. How odd, but funny... Then, she turned towards Shiro and handed Shun back to him. "Well then, since Claude introduced me already to everyone, all I can say is: Nice to meet you all!" Danielle greeted, waving to everyone with a free hand. In a split second after, she heard Lana gasped in shock. “Uhm… We’re already too late for Redwood’s speech. It’s 6.05.” "Already? Mon Dieu, how time flies!" Danielle cried. She quickly stuffed the bandages and the empty bottle back in her bag, zipped it up and got up with swift gusto. "Hey, everyone, why don't we walk and talk then?"

    Danielle nodded. "Avis...?" The girl was about to ask her if she found the bandages yet, but it was unnecessary. Avis held it up with her beak inside the bandage roll. "Don't lose it now, girl." Danielle grinned before turning to Shun once more. "Okay, Shun. On the count of three... One... two... three." Danielle sprayed the green bottle onto the burn. Most of the liquid was able to hit the target, effectively trenching the burn. Danielle quickly put down the empty bottle and took the bandage roll from Avis and proceeded to wrap the delicate hand in the white cloth, leaving a small part of the bandage hanging loose. Once the bandage was wrapped a few rounds around Shun's hand, Danielle gave the bandage roll to Shiro. "Here, the bandage won't fall off now, but I do not know how tight or loose Shun wanted it. I think it would best if you take over. Just roll it around a few more times like I did before. Once you think it's enough, hold out the roll so Avis can cut the bandage with her talon and you can tie that up with that loose piece here." Danielle pointed to the white, fluttering bandage. "I still recommend you take Shun to a healing center but it's all I can do for now." ((You can bunny Avis with the cutting.))
