@MVr I'll just give you some advice: yelling out against it is talking into the void. These changes happen once every few months so it's very unlikely it's going to be changed.

Yeah...no we already have to be prepared for a nuke to be dropped on this place. Let's not give them more motivation to drop it. The coding is pretty cut and dry so it's probably just better to start off using Reborn's engine when the game is done. The materials are easy to access already. Well I guess there's some things missing from the dev copy (which is the version we get to playtest in the beta). If you want tutorials though, that might be something more worth asking.

Even Shane called them out (He's a snowflake) for how over the line they went threatening to call CPS over a guy making a comic based on his 5 year old daughter's story she made up. IStandWithVic has its share of problem people but it is nothing compared to these KickVic people and if you actually get into convos these people are quite honestly the scum of the earth. I tried to be reasonable and understanding but I have only found ONE person there who is reasonable. Dear Lord you better hope Vic is innocent or RT and Funimation are going to be infected with something you don't want. He's the only barrier for things going South very fast and very quickly. I wish I was exaggerating.

Toei likely isn't going to do anything since it would be better not to renew then to pull. They aren't happy for sure. I know people are a bit passive aggressive in the comments since this a very controversial topic and for good reason. I'm curios to see what you think should have happened to Vic in the poll. Basically it's asking how you think it should have been approached. I will clarify then here just in case: These companies did an investigation before making the decision but do you agree this was the right way to go is the first part. The second part is based on what we've seen. Do you think it's concrete enough that he should be unable to attend anything or have any VA roles? Or do you think he should just be fired from the studios but still be able to find work? Or maybe you might think he be put on probation until a lawsuit settles it. So I finished the OP a while back and I have some news. -Ron Toye filed an ethics complaint to Ty Beard and it is the funniest thing to ever hit this saga. This man literally amazes me each time: Name: Mr/Ms Ron Toye City: Dallas County: Smith He also apparently watched 50 hours of underaged girls looking for "evidence" And when you don't think it can get better Rekieta pulled up Texas Law on sexual assault which in a nutshell is this: rape. That's it. So basically anyone who accused Vic of sexual assault made a defamatory statement. They did not think this through. Also Lawsuits should appear on Apr 15th so fun times ahead. Oh yeah Vic got invited to more cons including Bubba Fest which the con owner said he never seen Vic do anything that these allegations claimed and worked with him for 7 years watching thousands of fans greet him. This does contradict the narrative that everybody knows about it. Also a fan lied about her friend who Rial kicked out of a con. I really think it was her friend from the way she acted but yeah she's not happy with him.

@Waynolt I guess one option is to make an array for money to set each TM to a certain price. There are ways to approach this but they all require tedious work.

I would also recommend that instead of doing all TMs to pick 10-20 and divide them into groups of 4 with the price being shards for each group. Start with the most desired moves the sprinkle your way down to group 4. That'll save you a lot of time when making this tutor. Or you can do unorthodoxed methods for payments. It's not really a big deal bit a suggestion since moves like charge beam are near worthless due to how early you get it. I only know how to do this the manual way. Wouldn't surprise me if someone cooks up a program to make a tutor event easier to make.

I'll assess obstacles then your goals. 1. In order to edit a game you need two things. The first is an rxproj file which is how you open and edit most if the game. The other is PBS file if you want to edit some of the data files like trainer teams. You probably are looking more for the former which can be created by starting a new project and copy and dragging all the files from Reborn to replace them. PBS can be found in faq 2. See PBS file above. You don't need to run debug/playtesting mode unless you do PBS file changes. It is better to open the game as you normally would to play it. But just drag and drop the PBS folder into the games folder and it should work. 3. It depends on what you did. Something like Redux contains so many edits it's better to just upload the full game. Most people would just want to compress and upload the data folder. Though maybe asking @Waynolt about how SWM works wouldn't be a bad idea. If you want to upload to site only we will have to talk. Now for goals. 1. I guess the best approach would be for this would be massive edits to the tutor text file in the PBS then a massive amount of eventing for this. Maybe someone has an alternative method to cut it down but it sounds like you'll have to manually add all TMs into tutor moves. 2. I do this all the time. Enter and space bar are great shortcuts to reduce the time needed to get this done. Just ping me if you can't find something specific and I can tell you where it is in the map. They are found on boxes within the map unless you are talking victory or last mon quotes. 3. There was a system like the legendary dogs for a couple event mon Pokemon but it turned out to be broken and was replaced. I'm not even sure if it's possible as that's probably an Ame or Marc question. I will support the endeavor but I feel like you are biting off more than you can chew being a greenhorn.

I'm pretty sure the grand hall map needs replaced and maybe and Agate Circus NPC was added though I don't remember. Just FYI for instructions at the start no idea though as I've never used Sandbox. And if there is a custom trainer battle that unfortunately would be lost and the best I could do is try to replicate it by eyeballing it. I'd rather that be an E19 thing but if it keeps getting asked about it's really a no big deal for me. However like Waynolt I have no plans to add content but merely preserve anything from it.

I generally treat Redux (original name was Hardcore) as simply a second playthrough of the game to kind of relive the original experience plus a bunch of random added on content - In my eyes, a new game plus is a little bit different as I feel like it'd be great to start out with a team of level 100s and fight though a game adjusted for that going up to 120-150 - though if you wanted to keep all your mons while exploring a different path that's an easy thing to implement but I uhh don't know how to do that off the top of my head

A new game plus is definitely possible to make but I feel like it should be handed off to a separate team instead of the main dev group to add in stuff to do with New Game plus instead of just OP stuff to breeze through the game which I find boring I think the best option to approach this is to copy the new game options and have a common event that removes any story progression items such as the keystones - There's not much else that I can really say on the matter beyond that

The party system is finding them in the overworld and you can switch to them using the party system in the menu. Teaming up with them only happens for two fights.

I want to make something clear: REDUX IS HARDCORE, BUT EXPANDED Everything from Hardcore is in Redux to my knowledge give or take one or two minor things. There were just a lot of updates and changes and all that jazz. The reason I closed Hardcore down was that the sheer amount of work for Gen VII was demotivating as I had to edit every single fight to incorporate Gen VII. That's a lot of content and that content needs to be tested for quality. I'm only one guy. And then there's something else I do need to talk about. Look, I get it if you don't like me or don't like Redux. That's fine. It's not hurting me at all. Heck, it might be making the mod more popular. I'm only doing this because there are people who absolutely love the work I put in to this mod and want to play it. I don't care if I'm the best or better than xxx (in fact it makes me relieved to have that pressure off my back), but this "Memeborn is better" stuff has to stop. All it's doing is hurting Memeborn and setting their expectations to do everything I do, but better. Let's just come to terms and separate these two mods, not for me, but for Memeborn. Azery does a great job on fights and I will give credit when credit is due. If you love Memeborn or Redux simply share them and explain why you like them. Making these mods especially big ones that take a lot of work can put a lot of pressure on people because there's a small niche of people interested in them. These things take work and it's so easy to be fatigued. It might be fun and games now but once a year passes it gets rough and so easy to not want to do it. I can't say there will be an E19 Memeborn and heck I can't even promise an E19 Redux. So I want you to just think about what you're saying when talking about any mod. You can criticize any mods you want. I have my personal dislikes of SWM because I really dislike hacking and cheating when it comes to playing games. There are some absolutely phenomenal mods and features in there that blow anything I do out of the water which are a part of it. There's good work done by all kinds of people. And while being the only one doing modding would most benefit me, I'd rather there be too many mods than too little. So can we all cut this "Better than" crap out and just focus on supporting stuff we like and give feedback to make them better. I know it's only a couple people but it only takes 1 to push someone enough not to want to do this anymore. And no, I don't want sympathy as I said, this doesn't affect me at all. I find it amusing if anything at all. Well that was bizarre. I found two errors which was the following 1. The trainer didn't exist in the PBS (I think. Ame changes the names due to Patreons and it gets confusing 2. There's no trainer 5 for this battle so I assume it was supposed to be a 4...oh dear I guess we'll be seeing the infamous Mega Ray surprise glitch for that trainer. Some days I think Ame is brilliant, but sometimes she does stuff that give me headaches to figure out. I really dislike those rematch grand hall trainers.

There is no final update. It's more like I take feedback into consideration and when there's enough, I make a number of edits and release a new version. 18.5 most likely will be the last version update in a long while unless a collab randomly happens or something. Nothing's in the works so don't assume anything.

They're called master fights for a reason XD. As for the Duoblade name, I guess Gladius. It's the name used for Roman soldier swords. There's definitely a lot in the game I need to update (mostly dialogue) or fix but one is coming...soon...ish. Probably some time next week but you won't really miss anything Pre-Serra so don't worry about it.

CORRECTION: The ones responsible for this were in fact all minors in which the con decided not to pursue legal action. In no way is this connected to hate against Vic that we know of. The con also does not want anyone to donate and assist in funds to replace broken or stolen equipment and would rather the support go to Vic instead. In other news, Twitter is getting tired of this shit and banning people harassing and spreading hate on Twitter. We're likely going to seeing the extremes start dropping and things quiet down. Alright, alright, I think we kind of need to drop the crest topic if you are persisting on what you put out is chosen. The decision more or less probably has been made and we need to kind of accept that and move on. Not every Pokemon who should get a crest will get one. It is ultimately just a fun little addition to mess with more Pokemon and something someone absolutely needs. Nobody is really saying much but I really don't want to see the V12 discussion board end up being about potential crests. Now watch me as I don't listen to my own advice. Hey @not Azery I don't care how terrible it is. Make a Delcatty Crest just so that I can use it just to spite this guy. Do it. I know you want to and see my suffering over and over again trying to make it useful.
