Beth is remembering a previous iteration of the world. Because the different versions are all canon. In this iteration Beth was part of the Xen infiltration team and they all got cooked. That version of the world was destroyed and it and its habitants turned into those black prisms. That version of Beth's body is the chunk of prism she touches. While she has those memories, she also explains she isn't that Beth. That Beth became Ben (wonder if he ever felt some gender confusion). That forbidden knowledge fucks her and reality in general up because it wasn't supposed to happen. And so she turns into black prism.

The Red Chain at least seemingly could only be created through the Renegade path. So there was at least that. It's also noted that Zenos kept M2 alive because they needed her Archetype, and the way it's talked about, there is something special about it so Melia could be after it. And it's only through Renegade that it could become what she needed. Btw does anyone know if the credit song Up in flames is an original song or if it's taken from somewhere else? Cause it's an absolute banger and I want to find the original if possible.

Just got done with both Renegade and Paragon and holy fucking crap what a ride. Best pokemon game ever and one of my all time favorite for sure. I find myself most fascinated by our playable character being their own person and RenegadeMC giving themselves a name (that might also be Paragon's considering how Melia didn't like them taking it) and how they seem to hate this whole thing as much as everyone else is. They didn't want to do renegade and Melia forced their hand. There were some hints prior to that they weren't as malicious as they appeared. I counted three moments in V14 myself. Them showing concern over Mosley, Clo and Ver noting that rather than hatred it was bottomless sadness that inhabited them and it's why they chose to heal the Interceptor, and finally taking offense to Vitus dissing Amber. It recontextualize why they are so short with people too. This whole affair is likely miserable for them and they just want for it to end as soon as possible. I'm also happy that I wasn't that far off with a previous theory of mine, that both MC were the same and that Melia had created the Renegade world through the Zeight to get something in it they couldn't in paragon. I was wrong about the MC but considering Renegade MC is a copy of Paragon MC I still wasn't that far off. I feel super sorry for Zenos, if they are a copy it's likely they hold memories of Paragon MC and thus the emotional connection to their friends. And they were forced to inflict pain beyond compare to those friends. No wonder they were so furious with M2, girl's counterpart fucked them over so bad. Add the emotional devastation of being a copy that Paragon Melia seem to find undeserving of compassion and you get that. The wait for V15 will be long but for now, thank you Jan and co, I'm full now.

So I noted after giving three heartscales to the move relearner that there doesn't seem to be a way to actually access the moves in question. Learn only let you teach tms. And doing remember all actually locks you out of actually being able to relearn anything because the move relearner. I wondered if it was intentional or not. Or if there is an hidden menu to do it. Edit: Found it, you just need to press the left/right arrows on the learn menu.

But for some reasons some encouters like the M6 and comfey one bug my game and I'm not sure if it's normal. Here's the message error that appeared at the Evergreen Forest encounter. The only mod I have installed is the ost battle pack.

I'll wait for this game till I'm 60 and beyond if I have to so even if Renegade takes a year or two I'll be there eagerly waiting to see what you've all been cooking. Always happy to see you update.

I think we don't have to worry too much about that. Pretty much everything that happened in 13.5 has an in universe explanation that doesn't require breaking the 4th wall. Even Eizen's ramblings have an explanation with the game acknowledging the Interceptor hit the reset button on the universe already.

It kinda just hit me but is Allen a reference to the Evillious Chronicles? Blonde twin and servant to a tyranical queen and being the one to kill the ones displeasing his sister (in the beginning) sharing the same name as the Servant of Evil. Alice herself kinda makes me think of a mix between the one from Alice in Wonderland and Riliane. Riliane was also possessed by a demon, leading to her becoming evil. Alice became evil because of Vitus influence and was in fact possessed at one point like Angie was. Could be a coincidence but it'd be cool if that was the case. Although... I hope this Allen won't share the same fate as the one from the Evillious Chronicles. Considering the Renegade route I wouldn't be surprised if he died to protect Alice.

I guess going from knowing everything to a limited human body could be considered "worse than death" if you assumed Rune enjoyed being near omniscient and it was something she really wanted to keep, otherwise yeah can't see how it's a fate worse than death. Pretty sure the siblings would be happy to be reunited.

I'm kinda hoping they'll clarify the relationship between Maria and Melia next update. I dunno it just bugs me. Something more than "she's just her but amnesiac/split in two" is going on. I wonder if rather than being her she could be a random child that was given Maria's power after her fight with Indris. And it's why she is the only one of the siblings to have Genesis Syndrome. Alice, Allen and Erina are all fragments of the Archetype and exhibit no signs of degradation because they are the Archetype. Melia instead of being a part has it infused in her regular human body. I want to see how deep the Paragon-Renegade rabbit hole is. We can infer quite a bit. But confirmation would be nice. I like M2, I want to see more of her. I want to see if she'll ally herself with the crew to take the Interceptor down. I want to have more moments where the Interceptor talks. Their accusation of M2 was bone chilling. More than anything I want it clarified if the tidbits implying time travel in NG+ are canons or just meta stuff. It seem there is too much for it to be merely meta but you never know. I love those kind of stories and the implications are far reaching.

Some quest get bugged cause of the conversion. If she ain't right outside the hospital and she should be odds are that it happened. My old save got bugged on the legendary bird quest and Zapdos became unavailable. With a new save it worked perfectly. My advice? Download the mod pack use shared PC move everything to a 13.5 new save and go wild. It's not that long.

Like bro it ain't that hard, just use a multi hit move blud. You can't hope to get into high tier competitive showdown by spamming legendaries. You gotta think Madame X! Think!

I feel 0 shame nor regrets. If Madame X was a better trainer she'd be able to beat FEAR strats. But her skill issues keep her in mid tier and as such doesn't know how to ball. Her own endeavors having stopped dead cold in their tracks

Honestly those little adds on just make it abundantly obvious this game is super special. Like who even does something like that? It would have been so easy to leave it as is. Just a "you won but actually you lost" and never acknowledge it ever again. But no. Suddenly everyone treats you as a much bigger threat than before. The admins comment on it. Crescent does it, everyone has a word to say about that. I love this game so much, probably my favorite Pokemon game ever.

Suffered the first time around, tried to get Palkia's speed down with A.Ampharos, PP stalled her with Shedinja and Suicune till she broke the mold and blowing my Metagoss up over and over to keep her from stealing. Took me like 35 tries Then on my second Paragon run, I invested in a Freeze Dry Articuno but made sure the first mon she stole was my Ampharos. Since she liked to spam Surf she kept slowing herself down. Used a ???Sylvally Parting shot to defang her and then went to town with Articuno. First tried it that time. I think my issue was that I carried the bad habit of over relying on Prankster Meowstic to set up walls from Reborn. Wasting a valuable team slot.
