Mt. Ruin... (SPOILERS)
vampirevulpix replied to TFSAlucard's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
Off-topic, but: how/where did you manage to get updated to Admin? -
I NEED to scream about this - have y'all seen the Silvally/Type:Null??? THE LORE. It's the little things except this one right here is NOT LITTLE: - the original trainer is VITUS - and the evolved shiny Silvally looks like the archetype (white/cream with gold, plus pale green gems) - Silvally evolves by friendship (SCREAMING) - Silvally without a memory is normal type So yeah, in short: the devs were NOT playing around on this one aND I LOVE IT SO MUCH /edit: - Zetta's signature pokemon is a Silvally too, go figure.

I have the same issue - I've been playing for a few hours today and the in-game time is stuck. The password for unrealtime is activated, I re-started the game several times, to no avail. The in-game day stays the same and the time goes from 00:00 (midnight) to 00:45 at most, and then if I enter a house or a battle, it sometimes/randomly ticks back to 00:00. Game is on the most current update. /edit: WHAT. So I just entered Terajuma Excavation Site and...in-game time switched to another time altogether and seems to work now? Even when leaving the Site??? Uh....okay? I guess?? Not sure if that's a permanent thing, but it sure is funky and rather surprising. It happened when entering the Site.

vampirevulpix replied to Honey's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
This does not work. I am a Death Wing already but when I talk to Katsu, she just says that I "am not where I am supposed to be" and that's it, no card updating -

So I'm really stuck at this Cathedral in Deux Finalis (after fight against Nym and Vitus) and have no idea how to proceed, so any tip/idea would be very much appreciated! Proceeding might have something to do with these sealed off side entrances?? Not sure. If so, how? I think I did free all fallen inceptors, around...five pairs or so?? Didn't count, tbqh, but did check everywhere. I also read all (?) the leaking data spots where Nym and Vitus' voices can be heard. The middle of the cathedral, which looks to be the more logical place to continue, just...has nothing? Except for that fuck-off sized sunray thing, but stepping in the middle circle doesn't do anything either. There's also no one there anymore to ask and tbqh I have no idea what to do.

Hi everyone! Does anybody know how to enter Xenpurgis? I've taken care of of these four smaller towers and I also recruited everybody (yay!), but I still cannot enter Xenpurgis, there's still that repelling protection thingy blocking off the entrance. If anybody knows how to get that thing open to finally kick Xen ass, I'd appreciate it! :)

ashen frost Pokémon Ashen Frost [Case 20 + Revamp]
vampirevulpix replied to Michael_'s topic in Fan-game Exposé
How is the game doing behind the scenes? I do not want to stress anyone out - life happens and fangames are a hobby not a job -, rather I want to just...idk, pop up because Ashen Frost is still on my mind and I really enjoyed playing it and would love to see more of it, if that could be an option.- 138 replies

I'm really glad you guys are still working on Deso!! Not sure if this is the right place, but I hope you still see it, so idk, just wanted to tell you. I like the characters a lot - they are all so distinct and have each their own motivation/goals and they feel so human and REAL as the player meets them, befriends them...and like, the relationships feel so realistic too! At first they're friendly but just the way one is to strangers. But over the plot, we grow closer!! Like, it's a team against the Bad Guys. Which are another thing altogether - sometimes I struggle keeping track of who's good, who's bad, who's a double spy, and like, the further the plot progresses, the less it's a clean black-and-white and more of a lot of greyscales. I really enjoy it, because it feels like the more I learn, the less I understand, like one answer leads to easily yet another dozen questions. On a meta level: the graphics/looks (like, the way everything looks) is just so *chefs kiss* - I LOVE THE COLOURS. Love, love, love it. There's so much contrast in everything, bright jewel colours (me? liking Cellia 5eva? who could've known??) - versus the Dreamscape being all desaturated, a huge contrast to reality (...I HOPE it is reality. pls.). I also really enjoy the plot, even if I do feel like...I don't understand and am confused because it feels v complicated. But I enjoy the way it...spirals, in a way, as it progresses? Like it returns to former points/knowledge, but now with new and additional facts, providing yet another step closer to unravelling and understanding everything. Really pulls you in, like you can't escape at all as you dive deeper and deeper. I also LOVELOVELOVE the side quests - not just are there a lot and they're all great fun, they also tie SO WELL with the main plot, I'm lowkey sobbing. Like, of course the main plot/quest is all fine and dandy on its own, but fuuuuuckdamn, is it even better when doing all the side stuff too!! It's so satisfying too, tbh. The most random thing I enjoyed (which even surprised me, if I'm honest): owning the Manor. Like, that is SO cool and I love the fact that Garret (sadly only temporarily) moved in - man, a perpetual sleepover would've been cool, lol. But yeah. It's just so dang neat to just...have the vendors? And the jinx guild, all neatly tied up in the manor?? Like the main player just gets the casual opportunity to...give them all space they need, just like that? Feels good (and more realistic than owning property in rl, too). I could probably gush more for ages, but I'll leave it at that for now. Your work is awesome and I really appreciate that you're keeping at it! Thank you for what all of you are doing!!!!

Oh, this is really fascinating to see, thank you for this post!! I don't know anything about what exactly is the work that is done for a game to work, so reading posts like this? Awesome to learn about it all!!!

Also if the chess field annoys you: just send your pawn in with the move stomping tantrum, iirc Nidoking/Nidoqueen both learn it. Stomping tantrum destroys the field and basically nerfs his team's shenanigans. I always do this lol and it always works like a charm. Re: your team - Radomus doesn't have a psychic only team but rather one that works with the chessboard field. Your team is very dark-heavy, which means Radomus' Gardevoir (which is hella fast) and Escavalier (very slow) will fuck you up either way, depending on whether Radomus managed to set up Trick room or not. If I may suggest: send out a mon that knows Stoming tantrum and to make sure Radomus can't knock it out, either give it a Quick claw (and get lucky with it) or send out a second mon out that's ultra fast and can pull the attention (via Rage powder or something like that)(that would also free Skuntank to hold Dark glasses to further boost its dark attacks). After that, Skuntank can basically deal with his team all alone if it has good support on its side, because it doesn't have a Psychic weakness, can learn Dark attacks, plus it can pull off a Sucker punch too to get knockouts faster. It can ALSO learn Flamethrower to deal with Escavalier and Metagross. Plus, destroying the field doesn't impact the relationship points in any way, so yeah, stomping tantrum goes brrrr. I've found that the best way to deal with major battles (which include gym leader battles) is not to plan agains the opponent's typings but rather around the field in use. That can and quite often does make all the difference - because the fields can buff certain moves/mons so much that really, it doesn't matter if it's not super effective simply because it's just ultra strong on the field and working like a charm.

NEED HELP!! Can't beat Solaris's Garchomp for Ending!
vampirevulpix replied to GodlySilence's topic in Online Play
Focus Sash goes brrr. Can't remember exactly where you'd get it, but there is def one before this particular match. Other options: using Toxic, Curse, etc. - alternatively, get a team full of Sudowoodos, Bastiodons, etc, and just go ham. At some point even that Garchomp must fall. I don't think you can outspeed it, because it's almost riduclously overlevelled compared to your level cap at that point in the game. -
I downloaded this and begun a New Game. How will I know I'm actually playing the swapped version instead of the "original"?

Tooting a similar horn: using the fields is vital, especial for major battles. Read up on the field effects (...preferably in the wiki, it's more descriptive than the in-game field nots imo), read up on what gets buffed and what gets debuffed. There's ALWAYS something that can be turned against your opponents and/or support your team. You can also change the field, which usually nerfs your opponents. There is literally no field that SOLELY benefits your opponent without benefitting you. It's always possible to benefit from the field!! So yeah, it's totally possible to do the game without any meta mons. I do gotta admit I did put in easier settings by...iirc Elite 4 or so, but before that it's super manageable.
