However, upon looking at bulbapedia, I found out she only gets Draining Kiss and Giga Drain as a TM/Tutor, which both I have no Idea if they are in the game, and if they are, where they even are located. So, my Calm Mind + Recovery move setup set was a no-go. So, instead, I looked at Togekiss moveset on bulbapedia. Turns out it gets Nasty Plot via breeding with either Honchkrow/Decidueye. And guess which starter I picked? Exactly, the little owl. If egg moves mechanincs are the same as gen 8 here (since this game has pokemon up to gen 8 in it), I can pass NP to it. The big thing, however, is the mon itself. LOOK AT THOSE IVS, NATURE AND EGG MOVE. Since there's no roost yet, Morning sun is better than Wish since it takes just 1 turn to heal. Perfect nature, 3 freaking perfect IVs and almost perfect speed IV, and decent HP Ivs. Now all I need is an ability capsule for Serene Grace. I thought it was set to have 3 perfect IVs, so I reloaded a previous save just to make sure I wasnt getting hyped for nothing. I chose the Hatterene egg and the Ivs were all Mid. Guess I just got really really lucky huh. This thing is gonna carry me the whole rest of the game lmao.

I was wondering if I'm missing something with the quest "The Specialists", I have all 7 requirements to complete the quest but the 5th one "Search for a Special Defense specialist", isn't Angela the specialist ? Or it's an entirely different character that I haven't found yet?

Lord Chespin Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 This might be a silly question, but are there any repeatable ways to get Trash Cloak Burmy before the second Gym? I'm doing a Bug Monotype run, and I really don't want to go into that gym without a Flying-type resist.
