Roswell Posted August 11, 2018 Author Share Posted August 11, 2018 Day 4 With the dawn of another day, the remaining members of the group came together, expecting to find another body, courtesy of the Noble agent. However, to their surprise and (mostly) delight, every member left of the group had shown up alive and well. No dead bodies to be found (aside from the ones yet to be cleaned up). Perhaps someone had found the agent and prevented them from murdering? Or they found an innocent, and managed to protect them from said agent. Either way, the remaining 6 members came together and began discussions on who the Noble agent was, and who was responsible for protecting them from that agent. And so, another day begins. Will it be the last? Only time will tell. ~~ There were no deaths last night! ~~ Day Four ends at 1:00am August 13th BST (~48h hours from now). As per usual, 2 posts and a vote are required. Ms. Cass quickly announced that she had kept Mr. L'Belle locked up during 2 different nights, and the lack of bodies afterwards were her proof of Mr. L'Belle's guilt. With no-one attempting to counterclaim the actions of Ms. Cass, and nothing to lose, considering their remaining numbers compared to those of the Nobles, the group quickly and unanimously agreed to lynch Mr. L'Belle, who offered no resistance to this (perhaps seeing that his fate was inevitable, and wanting it to hurry up). And so, using the ladder she claimed to have been using to knock out her targets so she could jail them (hey, no-one could say she wasn't resourceful), Ms. Cass made quick, messy work of Mr. L'Belle's execution. The frantic search for the evidence of Mr. L'Belle's Noble attachments began in earnest and, after some time, a letter requesting his services from one of the more powerful Nobles was found. Given how recently the letter was dated, there was no doubt that Mr. L'Belle was the last agent they had been looking for. ~~ And with that, the survivng members breathed a digh of relief. Their survival was no longer in doubt, and they could refocus their efforts on getting what they wanted from the Nobles, especially with the bodies of their dead agents to hand. ...and, several weeks later, the Nobles, seeing that any more action against the workers would be more effort (and loss of life for themselves) than it was worth at this point, capitulated to all the Workers' demands. And so our tale ends, with the survivors, now with much healthier and happier lives, going back to work... for now. Will they be able to live their lives in peace, now? Or will another uprising be required? Only time will tell... ~~ L'Belle was lynched! They were a Noble (Mafia Goon)! ~~ Walpurgis survived! They were The Trusted (Innocent Child)! Andracass survived! They were the Keeper (Jailer)! Jason Grace survived! They were a Labourer (Vanilla Townie)! Digital Amber survived! They were a Labourer (Vanilla Townie)! Alistair survived! They were a Labourer (Vanilla Townie)! ~~ Congratulations to the victorious Workers for their victory over the Nobles!
