@andracass Thanks for the clarification. I understand the rationale more now that you have made that clarification, although personally I wouldn't expect Dive to use the same strategy in a row like that. The only reason I voted Cataline is that Venus soft-claimed cop (which is something I am given to believe he does often). Personally I didn't really suspect her till he did that, and so far no one has done anything to counter him, though I just had a thought. @Venus Are you claiming cop or was that just a pressure vote to make Cat talk? Till we get some clarification,

Dive flipping town makes me think even more suspiciously of L'Belle. Dive's only real suspect was Belle, and he gets lynched the following night? That can't be coincidental methinks. Yes Dive is strong, but if he was going after the wrong person, why wouldn't maf keep Dive alive?

Sooo, my strongest suspects for Mafia are Belle and Cass (because she was the first one besides him to retaliate with a vote against Dive). Yes, she rationalized it but still something nags at me.

I also want to hear thoughts from ZP and Breakfast on why they jumped so quickly onto my Nicki vote with little more than an "I agree".

 

About Cat, it's not the first time Venus would have lied to stir up activity, but I don't see anyone counterclaiming "you couldn't know that" so I don't quite disbelieve him yet. Cat is an option to lynch if my mind changes about Belle.

@Cataline The only reason you were top was because I thought Venus had claimed the cop and had invested you, however upon further reflection it may have just been a pressure vote. I just really don't know what to do about Venus because he says so little. And a every little thought counts guys so keep em coming.

Firstly, I am a he. 

 

I just read over the posts and saw a post that was pretty suspicious, then I realized it was ZP voting on Nicki. I don't really want to vote myself, as I know I am town, believe it or not. I feel your assumption could be right Bok, but I also feel that maybe the mafia eliminated Dive due to his reputation or to try to convince us to mslynch. If the latter is the case, suspicion falls onto you for bringing it up. Although, then again, the maf could simply be waiti g got someone to bring it up not affiliated with them. Argh, too many assumptions. 

 

TLDR- Dive's death either signifies that the maf wanted a powerful player dead, or wanted to frame L'belle. My above theory about mslynching Bok is likely incorrect.

 

I felt like the suspicion on Cataline is a little extreme, until Knightly dropped his vote off. Three votes is a bit much for what merely appeared to be a pressure vote on a hunch. I feel like simply one vote, or maybe two would be sufficient pressure for how early the day is. Something about at least one of those votes seems off to me. Particularly Lykos, who seems to spread the idea that Venus was cop when it appears plainly to me to be a pressure vote to get Cat to RC. I also feel that if Lykos is Mafia, he is trying to push us to lynch dive's suspects to mislynch. This is all a very speculative wile hunch of course. 

 

Now, other then Zero, who I admit seemed a little suspicious, I bring Caime to light. The last comment of the day seemed pretty suspicious to me, especially the timing. I assume Caime either couldn't make time until then, or was waiting till right before Filthy posted so we would be distracted with shiny results. What rubs me wrong with Caime is that he basically said that Dive is a good player and as such I will blindly follow him. That rubbed me wrong.

I have only said that we have to read more carefully Dive's posts in my opinion, since he was town. I didn't say who we should lynch tho. Ok i got the point, probably Venus voted Cat only for pressure her. I don't suspect Cat of being mafia of course, i just followed Venus because i thought he was RCing to be the cop. But i remember that he did the same thing in one mafia game .

Anyway at this moment there only two votes on Cat, but well i will unvote her now.

@Mr. Knightly I still stand on it that Dive's accusation made zero sense. I see also very little reason for you to suspect me, besides me being not contributing much, which really is not only a problem I have. 

 

Anyway, I find that Bok Choi is playing very suspiciously. Very easy to jump on a conclusion that seems very unlikely if you think about it for 2 seconds. I also don't see any reason at all to suspect Cass. I don't even think she was directly defending me. i want to hear more from you, Bok.

Erm, what conclusion did I jump to? The whole point of my suspicions were to see what people would say and how they would defend themselves before I voted someone. Captain Breakfast's point makes sense, so based on that, the one other possible situation is that maf killed Dive to throw suspicion onto Belle and subsequently take attention off of someone else, like Bean. I gotta mull over this for a bit because I'm still not entirely sure of Belle's innocence. 

All your points have merit, which is why I'm not a hundred percent confident in my read, but your touchiness in counter-voting people who try to get you to defend your actions rubs me the wrong way. Venus also hasn't said a thing since voting for Cat, so unless he claims he has solid proof, this'll be my vote:

I know there is not much info, but you must suspect someone maybe only slightly, but the way to get more info is by talking yourselves and pressure voting those you find suspicious.

I'm not so sure about Belle since probably mafia killed Dive only for make more suspect Belle, like someone said already. So i will probably vote Bean and see what will happen.

@Mr. Knightly There's...not a lot to go off of. Most of the voting this game has been either a pressure vote or a reaction to a pressure vote, and that really doesn't offer me much in the way of information. 

I'm a little tempted to suspect Bok along with L'Belle. His posts today resemble a sort of feigned thinking before basically just picking off L'Belle as an easy target. 

Venus's voting this game resembles Bean's randomness, and I'm really not sure how I'm feeling about that. He and Caimie have both been fairly quiet, too.

As officer Magnezone returned, the guild was quite concerned. No one really had any idea who to vote for. As such, they threw up the first name they could think of: L'Belle.

 

"Now wait a minute, you've got it all wrong! I wouldn't do that!" she cried out. "I've been too busy managing Chimecho Assembly! You've all got to believe me!"

 

"ZZZT! To be honest, your guild's decision making today seemed like a mess." officer Magnezone stated. "Still, your colleagues did vote for you, and as such, we have to bring you in for questioning. ZZZT!"

It was a new day in the guild. The guild members, determined to find out who committed the crime, openly welcomed Officer Magnezone into the building. Together, they continued looked around the guild, until they found something disturbing...

 

...a Friend Torc. An item exclusive to Venus.

 

"Now wait a minute, friends. I have no clue how that got there. Heck, I don't even care for it. All I need is my Defense Globe."

 

"ZZZT! Now this is odd." exclaimed the officer. "I never thought you would commit the crime. ZZZT!"

"But wait, friends!" Venus started to cry out, on the verge of tears. "I wouldn't do that to my friendly-friends! Why would I do this?!"

"ZZZT! I know this may be a lot to take in, so I'll tell you what. Why don't you come with me, and I'll give you this..."

Out of nowhere, Magnezone pulled out the one thing that would subdue the saddened Guildmaster: a Perfect Apple.

 

"Hooray!" he cried out in glee. "I'm going to head out with my friendly-friend to clear this all up. Good luck everyone!"

 

Venus has been eliminated. He was a Macho Town Doctor, specifically Wigglytuff.

Ok, so, today I feel like our lynch victim should be someone who voted L'belle, as a decent chance of getting one maf would be in there. In my mind, it is obvious Dive's death was to make us mislynch. I feel we should find the cause of the L'belle lynch after Dive died, as it might have been a scum trying to capitalize on easy prey. Or we look into the people who easily jumped on that wagon. I will check myself when I better have time.
