Pokemon like Sand Rash Excadrill. Shadow Tag Chandelure. Jirachi. And this would pokemon in ubers chance like. Manaphy. Sky-Form Shaymin. Darkrai. The lists could go on and on. Now a name for this tier i have not a clue. I don't want to just name it Borderline 2. Or something like that. So name i'll let you come up with. Shadow Tag Chandelure just allows for dumb derpy set ups. Darkrai is bad. End of discussion. Well people who spam void with it are bad. Manaphy gets Rest and can reach +6 SpA effortlessly as well as in rain Rest gets washed away? Lol okay. I'm not to sure about Skymin though. renowner Posted October 31, 2012 Share Posted October 31, 2012 I think that could be an interesting idea, there are some pokemon in ubers with little to no chance, manaphy is definitely one of them, can't stand its own in ubers. I don't agree with excadrill, but I may agree with the jirachi part. I think rayquaza could also go into it, it doesn't have the same sheer ability as kyogre and groudon do, too slow to be a great mixed attacker without setup. I think you're basing this too much off HOW and WHO you're facing the pokemon with, rotom, rather than the sort of strategic pokemon you use against them. Every team has it's nightmares, and just because you had hell with some, doesn't mean "oh hey this guy's too tough make another tier pls". Please, actually test out the pokemon yourself before whipping out the ban hammer. On a side note, Sunkern is too strong. It needs it's own tier above ubers. Edit: Oh, and you're not even suggesting enough pokemon to fit a whole tier. You could, at best, only salvage around six of them. That's laughable for a whole new "tier". Just a testing tier to see what's too stronk for OU or to weak for Ubers. Regardless a tier like that practically bans the Pokemon from the game, as barely anyone would use a tier that has so few pokemon in it. This is the reason that Borderline battles don't exist, or are of the utmost rarity. Technically here we could do a borderline battle because it's a lot bigger but the borderline is Smogon has like.. 6. He's proposing an entirely new tier between OU and ubers, he isn't asking for Darkrai or Skymin to be moved down into OU, or for Excadrill and Swift swim to be banned to ubers, he's referring to them being moved to a completely new tier, based between OU and Ubers.. Anyway, the auth aren't about to do anything about it, especially mixing Pokemon like Excadrill and Garchomp in with guys like Shaymin-S. Those guys are way more broken, and we don't need standard Pokemon meshing with legendaries, as the tiers the way they stand now are what make Reborn what it is, and thus do not warrant overhaul. Besides, this would be baffling for newcomers. If we're going to make a new tier, we might as well make it towards the lower tiers (like something between UU and LU).
