Dimitri walks forward and behind him, a cloak of metal unfurls. Plating shifts and churns allowing cylindrical capacitors to rise from the curved surface as exoskeletal limbs extend as to support the extra weight. Angular armor, modular and camouflaged locks into place over the man at its controls. And from behind, a swarm of machines scream into the air, thrusters flaring around their spherical shells, energy relays and the particle cannons within shifting and locking into position as to cover every conceivable angle as they blanket the skies.

 

He couldn't power them all. No way, no chance in hell. He simply didn't have the power to run all of their weapons. Not even half of them. Maybe 10%, tops.

 

But that was enough. He didn't need to fire them, not all at once. Just the ones that were relevant. And which ones those were, his foe could not know, just like the gaze of a  panopticon.

 

Favor Boost. Double Intelligence.

Leon suddenly appears beside Kracko Jr., slashing at it and dealing 7 damage


Tesla unleashes a furious storm on Kracko Jr., which uses its cloudy puffs in a futile attempt to guard its eye from the overwhelming electrical force. It takes 19 damage

~Kracko Jr. falls back into the cloudy ground~
~The ground begins to shake violently, much like Kracko Jr. had when it first appeared. The eye opens up within the ground. It floats into the air again, a much larger amount of cloud stuff going with it. The cloudy substance swirls around it rapidly before suddenly stopping to form a fluffy cloud shape. A ring of golden spikes pops out, completing Kracko's transformation into its true form~

~All attacks that would have been directed at Kracko Jr. are redirected to Kracko~
~Tesla's attack is powerful enough that the excess electricity is still around when Kracko appears (Check: 19 vs. 24) but Kracko's cloudy nature allows it to absorb the latent electricity harmlessly~
~Tesla is spent from that attack and will be unable to attack next turn~


Kracko shakes a bit and a Waddle Doo drops out of it with an initiative of 20 (Note: only Kracko has to be defeated to win the fight)


Victoria uses her Draining Shot on Kracko, lowering its damage


Hiroki charges forward and attacks Kracko, which instinctively closes it's eye at her approach. She deals 2 damage to it
~(Check: 25 vs. 5) Hiroki's attack is so powerful it immobilizes Kracko momentarily (melee stun)~


Atton uses the Favor boost on himself, boosting his health by 20% and multiplying his Intelligence by two.


Prei begins Charging [Unerring Judgment of the Dragon Maiden: <<Myriad Execution>>]


Kracko shudders and floats a little higher, recovering from Hiroki's stun


Dimitri uses his Favor Boost. Doubling his Intelligence.

It was moments after Atton had received his mech that he realized that he had absolutely no idea how to activate the majority of the systems that were on board. 90% of it was written in Latin for some odd reason, and he wondered why the system periodically superimposed an image of a frowning cyborg in Priest's robes over his mech's legs.

And so after floundering and generally failing to do anything of note with his giant mecha, he decided that it would probably be a better idea to try and help the more experienced pilot along.

 

Which is why Hiroki would see a hunchbacked knight with a cathedral on his back and a disappointingly impotent array of weaponry raise its gauntleted hand to point vaguely at her direction and say in a tone that someone else would find to be inspirational "Look, I won't lie to you, today has been weird. Right now I am facing off against a one eyed cloud in a weaponized cathedral that has its controls written in Latin.

All of this makes about as much sense as the fact that the prayer I am going to make immediately after saying this to you will somehow make you go faster. So yeah, let's just kill that thing and go somewhere less LSD inspired.".

 

Atton made a rather long prayer immediately afterwards, and it went a bit like this

 

"Thou o Lord, art just and powerful: defend our cause against the face of the enemy.

    O God, thou art a strong tower of defence to all that flee unto thee: 0 save us from the violence of the enemy.
    0 Lord of hosts, fight for us, that we may glorify thee. 0 suffer us not to sink under the weight of our sins, or the violence of the enemy.
    0 Lord, arise, help us, and deliver us for thy Name's sake."

 

Richard uses Forward March! On Hiroki.

Somewhere, concealed within the swarm, four drones appear. They were small quadcopters, each built around a pair of rails and sensors, each readying to cover their master. And within Panopticon's own capacitors, power begins to build...

Atton uses Battle Plans on Prei to boost her main attacking stat (Stat used by their weapon to add to basic attack damage) by Atton's Int (16) for two rounds.

Dimitri jumps forward and uses Assist on Hiroki, buffing her SYN for the turn


Hiroki Unleashes Hell on Kracko, engulfing the cloudy creature in plasma and dealing 56 damage. Kracko barely manages to shield its eye from the assault


Tesla begins charging Rail-Fire


Kracko flies to the edge of the battlefield and shakes violently, a storm of lightning explodes underneath it and it moves across the field. Tesla, Victoria, and Leon are fast enough to dive aside. Dimitri takes 17 damage, Hiroki takes 25 damage (Ouch! Hiroki loses the buff Forward March!), Atton takes 28 damage,  Eon takes 27 damage, and Prei takes 26 damage
~The shock of the attack stuns Dimitri, Atton, and Eon~

~Kracko appears to calm down, returning to it's normal white color~


Victoria quickly fires a couple shots off, dealing 3 and 3 damage to Kracko.


Waddle Doo1 waddles into Atton for 2 damage


Leon basic attacks Kracko for three damage, Kracko uses some of its few remaining clouds to defend it's eye against the attack


Atton recovers from his massive shock


Kracko's clouds spin around rapidly for a moment and some more clouds float up from the ground, healing it for 21 HP

Eon returns to his normal majestic form after his massive shock


Prei unleashes her Judgement on Waddle Doo1, dealing a massive 59 damage

Hiroki gritted her teeth. It didn't actually hurt - the mech and by extension her Favor warded off the pain - but that wasn't a situation that looked like it was going to last for much longer. Warning lights flared all across her HUD; armor compromised in multiple places, plasma containment near breach, several thrusters disabled or blown clean off. Still, it was operational, and that was going to have to be enough. She brought her main cannon up and around once again.

Prei readied her lance again, swinging it to the side after having rushed and impaled the smaller creature. She set her sights on the remaining opponent, then dashed off towards it.

block the opponent attack and reduce damage to self 50% and damage them equal to 1d12+STR. cooldown 4 turn. Fail if no one attack him
