So general consensus is that the entire game is great, but which episode do you sort of like a little less than the others? Personally for me it's the one where Luna gets kidnapped and you have to fight her at the end(either 10 or 11 I think). While 7th Street is hilarious the whole stealth segment remains my most hated moment of the game and Iolia Valley is probably one of my most disliked areas due to the rather annoying crystal mechanics and generally being overly tedious. Then it finishes off with one of the easier gym leaders in the game whose fight is somewhat lackluster compared to some of the ones before. Plus dark cave is a bit of a boring field.

I came here at E14, so I didn't really get to analyze any individual episodes. But the E13 content (between Samson and Charlotte) felt really tedious to me. It felt like having to do a lot of hard manual labor but not only do you have extremely thin muscles, you're tired from getting only 3-4 hours of sleep.

Iolia Valley is relatively okay for me, what i was having hard time with was the rock jumping and Crustle luring and putting to sleep, once or twice is okay, but several repetition of the same actions is very dull to me, i dont know which episode it belongs to as i started playing in episode 15~

^That's the one ice cream is talking about I think. Or maybe he means the part with Aya/cain/hardy trekking through the mountains since the crustle puzzles are pre Samson. I know a lot of people don't like the part you're talking about because if the LAG and puzzles but it reminds me a LOT of Golden Sun so it's not so bad for me.

E15 was really short imo

idk it just feels as if there wasn't that much content to me. if it felt long it was probably because of the Water Treatment Plant puzzle, which was extremely tedious.

I actually forgot about doing those before battling Samson. I meant the Crustle puzzles, going through all the different caves, the Aster & Eclipse battle (it took me around 20-25 tries) and the atmosphere itself just feeling like that. I'm a she, btw.

Probably the Wasteland episode... it was just so infuriating when I entered that place the first time.

They reinstalled elekid only to be traded for electrizer in the end, elekid is no good without electrizer(unless we collect all the department stickers :( , which is itself a longhauling process)~

Heliolisk is much better anyway.

My vote goes to E15, not for the new content, but for the nerfed level curve, which promotes more grinding, since keeping up with the cap is harder with less exp available. Just add more trainers and pokes to the trainers instead of sinking everything...

I actually found the level curve to be okay in terms of getting pokemon close to the levels of ciel. I do see the issue with it though, especially if you haven't got any electric types well levelled at this point of the game (rock and steel are okay, but they do have shortcomings in the big top arena). I ended up spending ages grinding a lanturn for the sole purpose of preventing parahax spam from togekiss and grinding was not pleasant.

More trainers before samson is certainly required, as indra is really quite difficult to face upon first entering the circus, as its rare to be above level 65 at that point, let alone the lack of experience before samson. The water treatment centre also needs to be harder, as its far too easy to let Titania do all the work with aegislash.

Nonononono. I meant the new level curve from Serra to Charlotte. If you play the game in E15, everything from Noel to Luna is SIGNIFICANTLY weaker, and with much less exp. After Luna it's still lowered, but not as bad. Examples: the Aventurine bugs went from lvl 55 to 49, the Route 1 bulls from 52 to 47, the Subseven cultists from 56 to 51.

Oh that. I didn't find that too much of a problem until getting to Samson (Though bennet is a pest...pun intended).

Whichever episode introduced Route 2.

I think route 2 was easily the most annoying thing in the game. The excessive amount of rock-hopping, combined with the lag, makes going through there a pain every time. While there are other annoying areas in Reborn, most don't require you to go through them at least 6 times per playthrough, like Route 2.

You do realize that the pokecenter trainers are infinitely battla-able sicne episode 15, right? It makes grinding a lot easier actually, and the circus even moreso with the color wheel game.

And Bouffalant being lowered is a good thing since it still has mega horn unlike before where you had to use a heart scale.

I can't really think of an episode that left me disappointed...though if anything episode 14 was the first update I was a part of and left me wanting more so badly.

After doing that hardcore mod, I can attest to this. Less experience plus adjusted level =/= better difficulty. That whole section alone is a pain after Aya which is why I made Jamak implement an earlier lucky egg and a second Exp Share along with Chansey grinding. Route 1 is the bane of my existence as balancing that out is nigh impossible as 6-8 levels have to be gained for Radomus and Luna combined.

Speaking of Route 1, it's my least favorite place in the game. It's really spread out and tedious. So tedious when you want to do side quests without that quick travel Tarous. I probably KO'd at least 150 of those things before the quick travel was implemented. It's also kind of painful exploring the first time because you have to wait on those bugs and have a lot of honey ready.

Whichever episode it was that let us fully explore the mountains. I just...don't like those areas at all, they're a pain to travel through IMO.

Also, shoutout to the Chrysolia Forest puzzle for getting me stuck for ages.

The episode that introduced Route 1, which I believe was Episode 10. I really like Reborn, but Route 1 is by far my least favorite area in any Pokemon game I've ever played.
