  1. What about slack off and rest? Would they make sense at night? My move: Grapple Normal Priority:-1 Power:??? Accuracy: 100 Effect:Applies any effect that was applied to the user to the opponent (Status, stat changes, mean look, throat chop etc). Power is based on the power of the move that the user was hit by.
  2. One of the many mods included in this pack does what you want, make sure to read the description first tho!
  3. Some of the pokes i have I got in a trade, so its a little ambiguous to me...
  4. Hi, as the title suggests, I want a way to find out which moves are illegal online as i normally reckon my team is fine before I try to go online.
  5. In chess there is a factor of randomness of how your opponent is going to play (well at least when I play). Sure sometimes the moves your opponent is going to make become predictable but that occurs in online too. I get your point however that things its a matter of taste (had to search up what de gustibus meant). Its just that to the wide audience uncertainty brings excitement. And whoever makes the pokemon games wants to appeal to the widest audience. However in private games (like you are suggesting) you can do whatever floats your boat.
  6. I kinda like the front one from nintendo better - the posture looks more majestic. On the side i could probably also edit the back, but I'm no pro.
  7. I'm trying to make a mega one rn as a side project, what colour do you want the glow? For example here is a true abomination: Just saying the sprite was taken from a guy online. And this is work in progress. I may also need some help with turning it transparent
  8. Randomness is the spice of life! Being serious, there will always be some sort of uncertainty (and thus randomness) in a game. Games without RNG are generally more strategy based and can often get boring quickly, as everything is clear cut. Uncertainty also brings a sense of accomplishment, and it models real life behaviour! So i would reckon keep it. Of course being too random is another problem...
  9. I like the second one better. Maybe add a hint of purple?
  10. Hey there! Has anyone ever played Torchlight 2 and if so what was your build? Right now I'm going with passive boosted auto attack Beserker.
  11. Favourite Playable races for me are: 3. Dunmer/Breton -Theoretically the best 2 classes. 2. Khajit - In Skyrim I used this for my unarmed build. It was fun. 1. Orc - Battlerage or Bloodlust or whatever it was, was really good. Also since they are fugly I was less inclined to spend time trying to make it look good and more likely to spend time in game.
  12. I'm only gonna think about team RWBY because otherwise it will take for ever. Ruby - I would lead off with Absol but that seems more for Qrow. Swaddle Grovyle - Starter Binnacle (Only 3 because she is young) Weiss - The Ice queen Frosslass Kirlia - She's still growing as a character. - Starter (cause she's rich) Petilil - Same reason Clafairy - She received this in a trade for her Sneasal at the end of Season 1 Blake - Hard, she mainly is around dodging - dodging in Pokemon would be OP (look up the old evasion strat). Roselia Bisharp Banette A.Marowak Yang Blaziken Primeape - angerpoint (These two focus on how she normally relies on her sembalance) Her combat style seems to be revolved around her anger - nothing like how she was in the trailer, where she was cool and collected and biding her time. That's why the rest of her pokemon aren't as high leveled. Buneary - (maybe better suited to Velvet?) Stufful I find that apart from Weiss' transformation in season 1 nothing really happens to the main team that makes them grow. RWBY and pokemon isn't really that great of a combination as in RWBY close combat is used more frequently meaning that its heavily tilted towards Physical pokemon. also pokemon fails to capture some combat elements such as dodging (example being Blake). Finally in RWBY the characters are based around their colours (I'm Australian, sue me) meaning that if you literally look up online what the colour has a stereotypical reference to (you know like how they do in Shakepeare - red is passion, white is pure (in the modern day people seem to like darker or more chaotic characters so some times white also means order, boring or cold), black is dark (read edgy)). I find that while a decent idea, they really aren't anything more than their colour, especially as they don;t really change much over the five seasons so far. Weiss had a small change in the first season, Blake still runs away etc. If you really want to imagine it write a Fanfiction on it. People generally give them a bad name with their crappy porn stories and stories with poor plot.
  13. Well torchlight 2 is gonna keep me occupied for a while.
  14. I'm the kinda guy who can't choose so there may be quite a few more than 10. (BTW no starters was a good call). I'm also limiting my self to 1 legendary.\ 10 Confragigus, Honchkrow - Confragigus 9. Slakoth, Lilligant, Cincinno, Wobbufet - Wobbufet 8. Lucario, Gallade, Gardevoir, Gengar,Alakazam - Gengar 7. Scrafty, Sableye, Electivire - Electivire 6. Arcanine, Scizor - Arcanine 5. Zoroark 4. Magnezone + co. 3. Breloom 2. Garchomp, Dragonite, Kommo-o, Metagross - didn't want to turn this into a list of psudoes so I put the ones I really like together. Favourite out of the psudoes overall (excluding viability) is ma boi Tyranitar. I am also gonna tie Aegislash in with this group cause it's basically psuedo anyway. 1. Mewtwo - loved him without the megas. Fav mega would probably be Y.
  15. Oh boy, the closest thing to a Signature pokemon i have is a literal group of pokemon that I use to always use (and obsess over for a short while), i had to restrict myself to not using the same pokemon twice to actually get enjoyment out games. I always try to keep legendaries out of it so the one I am partial to is Tyranitar.
  16. Thanks didn't know those existed. Edit: It worked :D, i'm so happy!
  17. Nah man, I'm dead sure its a problem with the sound card. I literally did everything including factory reset it and no cigar. I attached a pic of the icon from the windows tray.
  18. Gen 1: Charmander - Although in my first Kanto game I actually chose Bulbasaur because I wanted a decent grass type... Gen 2: Freaking love Cyndaquil (cutest starter imo), but i have to choose Totodile. It would be a tie but Feraligator looks freaking bad ass Gen 3: I'm actually having a hard time choosing this one, this was the first game i ever played so I (stupidly) chose the starter that i saw Ash use in anime. Its a tie between Mudkip and Torchic Gen 4: Infernape Gen 5: Zorua - Shut up thats my starter, let me have my dreams.......(I hated the starters in this region but if I had to say one it would be Oshawott, the grass things not bad either) Gen 6: Greninja (I hate to admit it but I actually turned into a fan boy for a while) Gen 7: Yeah...no (Grass birds decent).
  19. Hi, I have been playing this game for over 3 years now and last year i got a new laptop. Now the laptop has pulled the old shift shifty on me and the sound card has died one month after the warranty expired. My problem is now i can't play Reborn with out a DirectX Audio error popping up. Can someone help me circumvent this? Thanks in advance Edit: I should probably mention that the laptop has a myriad of other problems so getting it fixed would probably cost as much as it does. Also I am a uni (college for you Americans) student so i have no money.
  20. Hi, thanks for the comments. Meganium, I always hated, SO I tried to turn it into a pokemon that I wouldn't mind using. Fairy seemed like a good idea to me due to the fact that Meganium's are said to be peacemakers and all that nice jazz. However if you think it doesn't make sense i would change it to a Fighting type. (honestly its a f@#%ing, horse like rapidash it should be Physical) Typhlosion, not one of my best ideas. My original plan was to make it a fighting type (honestly with that much bulk) but as it has access to excellent special moves like eruption, I didn't (totally not because then we would have 4 firefighters in a row). Typhlosion also evolves from a timid, cute thing to an arrogant powerful badger. So whilst the body might not look like a dragon's, imo it mentally is a dragon. My back up option would be to turn it into a Fire Psychic. Feraligator would be a Dark type if the rest change. Sudowoodo - Point taken, changed Politoad reminds me of one of those characters that would sit down and do nothing (if you follow Naruto think Shikamaru). I was thinking about making it fairy but as it is one of the few Drizzlers and fairy is usually complimented by Grass I thought against it. I am open to suggestions cause this one stumped me for a bit. Aipom is a rather forgetable pokemon, and honestly I like it better than Ambipom (or more specifically Ambipom's really stupid looking hair). It also reminds me of Mankey and Primeape. Heracross was a mistake, I was looking at shuckle. - FIxed Octopodes are amongst the smartest animals in the world. That is why Octillery is now Psychic. I was thinking Donphan would have a thing with its tusks. About Blissey and chansey - yeah you're right. - Fixed Sceptile reminds me more of a ninja than anything. I also changed to be a physical attacker. Also Steel gives it a lot of resistances. Maybe too many? Nuzleaf - fixed Nincada - changed back Gulpin line - Yeah had no clue what I was on at the time. Tho I did want to give it a buff. Any suggestions? Vibrava - You got a point - Reverted Anorith - I actually never thought of that - Fixed Bagon line- Hahaha nah steel isn't my favourite type, yeah Salamence sure looks like a dragon but I really hated how when it arrived everyone forgot about Dragonite. I also wanted to make Pseudos not primarily Dragon. It really sucks and in my opinion lacks originality and creativity. So whilst thinking about it I wondered why not make it kill the bane of all Dragons. Also its stats are really good. My thoughts on the Bagon line is that it is more focused on the ability and desire to fly. BTW I was surprised that you weren't reviewing slaking. I thought I might have made him too OP. Also please note that most of my changes have been for the stats of the Pokemon, my second priority was the typing. Fixed
  21. Ever wanted to played with a Butterfree, but after the first gym battle (and after you get access to better pokes) decided to dump it into the storage box? Yeah I decided to try and fix that. Tell me what you think . Feel free to comment on the stats. Also please note that this is a first draft and moreover it is my opinion. I don't claim to be a pokemon expert. (quite the opposite really). Also i was sick of all the Pseudos being dragon do I changed it and I tried not to touch Mega Evos. I also added in some abilities for specific pokes. First draft up to Gen 3 done. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18HMg4P_BdJHT5Aw4wQKSLecEJi92qmAsxAkqw5RIl-g/edit?usp=sharing
