Eh. While I don't disagree with the advice, I don't necessarily agree with it. If you get so worked up in trying to perfect your cards or playstyle, you'll be missing out on a whole different world. Generally, I try to have a bit of fun and all that other stuff usually just clicks for me after a while. In reality, I'm pretty sure my PC is going to be more remembered by her personality than her battling skills which again makes me question why I picked protagonist.

That's a completely valid point but ehi, nothing forbids you do both (the battling skills and the personality I mean). I mean, while I agree that character development comes before everything else, I also think that improving one's dueling skills cannot hurt, and won't necessarily cause you to miss out on character development either.

With this being said, I was the one who wrote in the OP that this roleplay is about characterization first and foremost, and only subsequentially about dueling, so of course I won't be forcing you to improve at dueling if you don't want to: as long as your character is developed well, that's all that matters!

And of course, if the development is what makes the character, then it logically follows that dueling skills aren't strictly necessary to be a major character/Arcana Number Holder, so don't question your choice. I'd rather have the great character of an unskilled duelist in the spot, than the dull character of the best duelist around...

How to XYZ

Step 1: Have 2 monsters with the same level on the field.

Step 2: Hover your cursor over your monster and click overlay if you have only 2 monsters on the field then it should automaticly do it. If not, put the circle thingy over the monster you want to overlay.

Step 3: Click View on your extra deck and hover your cursor over the monster you want to xyz summon. Click OL ATK/OL DEF (depending on the mode you want to summon it in) and boom. you have your XYZ. If you have more the 2 monsters, you will have to put the circle thingy over the monsters you want to overlay.

How to Syncro

Step 1: Have 1 tunner on your side of the field, and 1 non-tunner.

Step 2: Hover your cursor over them and click "To grave."

Step 3: Go into your Extra Deck and summon the syncro monster, whos level is your syncro materials combined. I have 2 level fours in this example, so I must xyz summon a level 8 syncro. Click SS ATK/SS DEF (depending on the mode) you want to SS your syncro and boom. there you go.

Hope it helped

^^You might want to write more. Remember, this will read sort of like a book so it would help to elaborate a bit more than simply throwing in a single line of dialogue.

Also, for anyone who wants to interact with Setsuna, she's right at the door about to leave. If you don't catch her before then, she will be at the garden fairly quickly.

I'mma post as soon as I get off work (ten hour shift hooray).

Cyaloom, if you're still game for having Monika and Sidus be friends, would you mind being the one to strike up a conversation? Due to his initially shy reserved personality, Sidus is more inclined to sit at a table and go through his cards like a loner.

Sending this to Cyaloom as private message to make sure he doesn't miss it :)
