Yeah, that's more or less the same thing. I mean sure, Heatmor's situation is not as bad as it is in B/W, but it is still bad: by the time you manage to put together a team capable of consistently capturing level 40 mons, the game has already given you MUCH better Fire-type mons, including Camerupt and Pyroar. So yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing Heatmor moved to an earlier area... But that is probably just me... And thanks for clarifying the monkey thing: since we are here, why not adding the third monkey as well? I mean ok, the grass monkey is probably the worst of the bunch so nobody really misses it, but exactly because of this, there are literally no reasons for it not to be in the game while the other 2 are... It's very decent on all levels with any stab move, but the moment it learns brave bird and flare blitz it becomes a one hitting machine, nothing weak to fire or flying is safe and anything even remotely frail is shivering in fear at the sound of the mighty hawk's chwirk. So yeah I don't blame Ame for not putting it in. Gastly...sigh....well if it's to improve the difficulty i'm all for it now for the Pokemon that should be available earlier: 1) Dobby is right, some of the (weaker) fossils would be ok a little earlier 2) Definitely Wingull (as jericho said) 3) Lickitung? No one will use it anyway (i think) 4) Feebas - without the Prism Scale we won't be able to evolve it (so better hide it later in the game) 5) Audino - like really what it's doing on Route 1? 6) Furfrou 7) Paras 8) Blitzle 9) Dedenne 10) Slugma 11) Farfetch'd - (probably) no one will use it but still 12) Psyduck 13) Poliwag 14) Horsea - same as Feebas if you keep the Dragon Scale hidden it's practically useless 15) Clamperl - same as Horsea and Feebas that's all i can think of Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That and priority acrobtics at level 44 is already borderline gross. Samson might as well not exist if talonflame was availble. Didn't even think of that, but that's so true! Keep the boss battle and have another "mischief" pokemon have it. Misdreavous fits the role. I've looked at some of these other posts and there's something I'd like to request. Starters at an earlier point. Obviously not all of them, no Froakie or Chimcar or Torchic early game aw heck no. That'd be far too easy. No, I'm looking for a bit of justice for some of the inferior starters. Mons such as Squirtle and Oshawott, the sort of starters that are often replaced by more viable options later on. Here's a list of some of the "eh starters" that I feel should be available earlier game: -Squirtle -Oshawott -Chikorita (yes it's already available, but I don't feel it's good enough to justify being a post-Kiki mon. I would say replace that with Turtwig because the demand is certainly there, it has decent enough typing, and the gyms right after that are Aya and Serra, who absolutely wreck it) -Tepig. OK, let's be frank here: who the hell uses Tepig? I'm pretty sure that number is in the single digits. If this thing was available, say, post-Florina, I feel it'd be used much more. Also, I support the idea to let you obtain some of the fossils earlier game. Specifically Armaldo. Because it's just a really bad obtain in light of most other bugs. It needs a chance to shine. And because I might as well, here are some mons, as much as I may love them, that I believe should be moved until later game: -Litleo. This thing is my savior and as much as I'd hate to see it go, with Litleo as an option, I don't use any other fire type for the majority of the game. It's sad, but it should be pushed back a bit (maybe put it into one of the jungles, ya know, as if there was a zoo/safari zone that was disrupted and later the Lions broke out). -Electrike. I have no blasted idea why this thing is available sooo early. It becomes a powerhouse easily, especially with its new ORAS learnset, which allows for it spam Discharge extremely early in and it can alternatively use charge beam to become a monster in no time flat. Please, for the sake of all Electric types, move this thing into the later game. You shouldn't be able to obtain something this good by walking down the road from the Grand hall for the first time. That's my two cents on the matter. Feel free to agree or disagree as you will, but I'm just trying to let some of these lovely mons shine as they ought to. (Julia's I think it is? can't remember the name), I mean he ain't too bad a pokemon Yamask and he would probably be relatively ignored mostly for being among other ghost types that could be considered better? he could be added to that place where you first meet Scraggy or that place where you get the Ill Fated Doll, I mean ya know it could probably work. If I were to have it moved, I consider a slight chance on Apophyll Beach - the coloration matches the ashen beach to an extent, and it won't help you much against Kiki's team. The question to be asked is, could it potentially be a boon for Aya? - and not all of her team is exactly going to lie down just because Krokorok/Krookodile is a ground type. I submit this pokemon to be moved due to the fact that training it is seemingly -too- easy and it can immediately pay off by flattening most of the Meteors pre-Noel. The only major risk this poses is the Aya fight. - Part of me thinks there should be a sort of event for Pokémon like Shuppet in the city, perhaps post Julia to maintain what dignity she has. Unless Ame is content with there being no ghost types there for a while. It's okay. - ZUBAT The Bat has a CRAP ton of Potential, but it's not a crobat until it's Friendship is high enough, and there are places we can put it -post- Florinia if we need to (like the Rhindocrine caves, or the Beryl Cave) - waiting until the Wasteland for Zubat seems rather obscene to me, but there must have been a reason it was moved. Underground railnet (post rock smash) seems reasonable, although there are more than enough flying types before kiki already... but meh. Who actually bought Psyduck knowing the next gym was Florinia? Free Vulpix, but we pay for a water type?? Also recommend adding more trades to compensate this. Trades are a good way to get people to evolve Pokemon they normally wouldnt (Bibarel), with the incentive that they can trade it for something later on. Something like a new trade asking for a Butterfree or a Vigoroth for something new. (And trades are just a fun thing to do). Also, now that the Move Tutor has been moved to after defeating Aya, I think there could probably be an event Luvdisc towards the beginning of the game. This would also have the effect of moving the Darumaka trade to before facing Kiki, unless it gets switched to Alomomola (who I think should also get moved from Iolia Valley fishing to the Tanzan Cove hideout, or the cave near Spinel Town where the Mystic Water is located).
