Nova Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Somehow the jellicent looks like the pringles man. Well that was Ame's intention, even added the bowtie Frillish- Match Jellicent- Male is Pringles, female is acceptable as is but maybe change some aspects to match male better
Helia Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Perhaps this for Gigalith? This does look very nice!
Monochrome_Complex Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 (edited) Looks like those crystal dudes from BL2 lol. But I actually like it. Though a lighter palette for shiny gigalith would sort differentiate him more from the original I think. Not sure what colors would work though. So far gold rush gigalith gets my vote. EDIT: haha next post thought the same thing. Edited April 1, 2015 by Monochrome_Complex
LeMasterJP Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Perhaps this for Gigalith? It looks like the borderlands 2 crystalisk http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Crystalisk
Nova Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Perhaps this for Gigalith? I love the gold color, but Roggenrola and Boldore were already accepted as purple. They should all be the same color, not purple then evolving into gold, so if we get this full evo line in gold, it should be fine.

Nova Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 BRB Doing the others ROGGENROLA BOLDORE Great! Can you do the backsprites too?
Veterans Azeria Posted April 1, 2015 Veterans Posted April 1, 2015 Sure,a bit later since i've got things going on atm though.
Meruem Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 do you mind if i try a gigalith with the four reborn gems' colors? and also a diamond one actually, diamond is practically the old gigalith shiny color, so just the red/green/blue/amethyst one XD
Veterans Azeria Posted April 1, 2015 Veterans Posted April 1, 2015 Sure,go ahead, but at this point,i think that the 4 colour Reborn thing's been a bit overused lol XD
Meruem Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 yea, i realize that too lol. im just curious on how it'll look like. plus, it's more appropriate than on certain mons, because gigalith is a rock-type, at least. edit: done, here i prefer the gold one you did better, so i wont complete the remaining line or back sprites unless im requested to do so.
Gaunt Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I like them both but the gold one wins for me (cause Borderlands)

It looks like it's made out of those shards you get from mining. As others said, both are good, but the gold one is better IMO.
TheGoat Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Both are indeed good, but i prefer the gem colors one
Deleted User Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 I know it's a theme of the game, but maybe change the black to something else every now and then for that theme.
Meruem Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 I know it's a theme of the game, but maybe change the black to something else every now and then for that theme. its not that i dont want to, but nothing else fits well with sapphire, emerald, ruby and amethyst, besides maybe white or some shade of grey. red/blue/green/pink/orange are out of question for looking too similar to at least one of the four gems. the only relevant remaining colors are yellow and maybe cyan, and even then, those look somewhat similar to them or just dont contrast too well with those colors.
Pixl Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 If you can, try a white marble texture. That way, it wouldn't be just one solid weird white color (imagining it white in my head just looks strange), and it fits in with the colors of the Citae Arc-d'Astrae Aerie

I agree with the fact that there aren't many colour that fits the situation, but... Honestly, we won't know how bad it is until we see it. You guys are already doing an amazing work, but it wouldn't be bad to see a change every once in a while. but oh well... 4 generations done what am i going to do, complain now? pfft.Do what you gotta do i guess c:
Fumble Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Ooh, these shinies are really nice. Can't wait to see them ingame! If I had any clue how to sprite, I'd help out. But... I kinda like the gem one, it's so pretty...
Bazaro Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Oooooooh boy, finally found this thread. Tried my hand at a Golurk. Added some shading to make the bronze bits and armor shinier, and to make the blue symbols and the crack to appear to glow from within. (Sorry for the half-sized sprite, I couldn't figure out an easy way to double the size without blurring everything together) I'll do a Golett after some feedback.
