It sort of fits with what's been predicted, since we thought Ren was the one that turned evil for real but that was obviously not true. Melanie is still a part of Melia's personality, as shown in that weird dream sequence. She's just sitting there. She's going to be incredibly evil, have no moral compass about her, yet somehow I can redeem her because she's going to have a British accent. :D

I think Rorrim B definitely has a chance of being an Elite 8 member. Another thing I read somewhere (might've been in a previous version status thread) is that you don't fight them all at once. You fight the initial four and they are the only people who know where the league actually is. Then you go to the league and fight the second four. My theory is that Karen belongs to the first category and Tesla to the second. I also think Jan could be the champion.

Thought of two random-ish things: (1) what if Erick is connected to the Timesurfers in some manner? His hair sort of looks like Freya’s hair. Also, we know that he became the leader after both Saki and Volta gave up their positions, and that Saki’s disappearance is connected to Freya. There’s not much, but it could relate to something. The way he talks is also similar to Kieran. Specifically, we could be dealing with part of the plan stated by Robot Amanda. OK, this isn't a fully formed theory but... is Nim actually a demon? I remember this based on what Damien said about Nim being a multi-dimensional abomination who takes this form. But the question is, can we actually believe him? I mean, I seriously thought Nim was on our side and the next thing we know she's turning people into stone left and right. Is this because of Crescent's influence? What's her genuine role? The problem is how many different sides there are in this conflict.

I think Saki's Twitter has been hijacked by Freya. Here's my theory, what if Freya has banished Saki to the shadow realm Puppet Master's House of Fun and either we fight her there or (since we've had a storyline like that before) we go in, get her back, and then fight her.

That is some quality art right there. In the latest Twitter entry it implies that Saki has been ‘erased’. But what does that mean? Could it mean potentially that she is not only gone, but It’s happened before. I wouldn’t be surprised if Freya has powers to this extent given what she was capable of in Where Love Lies. Of course since we’re the Interceptor, we don’t forget. Valerie and Adam on the other hand...

I do like the theory that Crescent is part of the Elite 8. I think it will sort of work like in Insurgence: not based on types but on strategies (maybe on specific field effects that you don't otherwise see). Besides that we know Karen, Tesla and Jolene. I keep on thinking that Rorrim B could also be part of the Elite 8. There's also a thread somewhere on this forum where Jan explains how the Elite 8 works: four of them know where the League is located, and the other four actually live there. So four of them are like 'gatekeepers'. Karen is probably one of those.

I agree. The only way we can really explain Crescent’s behaviour is that some of the characters we thought were on our side may turn out to be evil. It’s anyone’s guess who those actually are.

I would say the difficulty of Casual is somewhere in between the canon games and Insurgence, if you’ve ever played that.

If I had to guess for the mystery egg, maybe Toxel or Falinks would work? As for G-Darumaka it’s the biggest competitive monster since Talonflame. I would probably expect to be available when we get to Neverwinter (possibly this chapter but maybe not).

The Wailord was a sidequest. I hope there is no comparison. I would argue that the hardest battles in the main story so far have been: 1) Angie. 2) Rift Aelita. 3) Rift Gardevoir. 4) Nim/Lorna at Zone Zero. Also I'm suspecting Freya's involvement. Risa disappears and in the next scene she reappears behind the noticeboard. (???)

Risa is a celebrity who gets the respect of basically all of GDC, she’s so popular she’s basically allowed to commit crimes there. As for side quests, I’m fairly sure the Legend of Goomy one was a one-off. Ana’s quest will definitely continue. I’m really looking forward to finding out what her origin story is and how it connects to the Interceptor.

Saki is very different to Titania. They will probably nerf Fire by making it constantly rain during the battle (like the Grass leaders). It is mentioned when we encountered Saki in that cave that she was visited by a red-haired woman.

At the core of it he is an entertainer. Part of the fun is watching him fail to understand simple things.

I wonder if the Saki account will be used as a means of delivering news about the game. After all, it was within a tweet that basically confirmed she has a Duraludon.

Are they going to reuse mons? I seem to recall Adam having a Probopass. Duraludon, Klinklang and Scizor all seem like easy picks. Aegislash I'm not so certain about. This is Saki, not Titania after all. (I haven't played Reborn to such an extent, but I do understand that Titania's personality and theme is very different from Saki's). Magnezone might also work. Either with an Air Balloon or seed. (What does the seed do in Factory Field? Is it Focus Energy) She'd need to explain to us why she has a legendary.

So Saki is confirmed to have a Duraludon. I think it will be her ace with the Gigantamax implemented as a custom mega. We will probably fight her on a Factory Field. On one hand, I'm thinking 'This will be easy, I'll get a Fire type and sweep her', but especially on my Normal mode save, this definitely won't be the case. Each gym leader that was weak to Fire had some kind of defense. With Angie it was the field. With Crawli and Florin it was the constant rain plus having mons that don't even take SE damage. What will Saki do? Her gym could be in one of two places:

Here's what seems evident to me so far: -The cave in Sashila is probably used by Adam and Ryland. -Cosmia and Comet are quite likely to be the gym leaders. I've also thought of Kelvin (for Dark) and Risa (for Fairy). Kelvin fits mainly since there is an abandoned gym in Oblitus Town. -As for more speculation about Cosmia and Comet, they're working with Xen for... something. Also, Comet is stuck looking like us.
