I just looked through your save file, and the game should be functioning normally. Just start the scene in the area you are at. Unless something else is not supposed to be happening?

So, you don't actually have to use the elevator to progress. You can continue the plot from within the room.

For the sidequest, the other person is in the apartment where you can go up several floors. For the plot, what was the last thing you did?

Which person did you find for the sidequest? Could you show a few pictures? This will help me better understand what is happening.
