Although it does seem to use the Defense stat in the calculations, it doesn't look like the Claydol Crest factors Defense raises into the damage calculation. Using Cosmic Power didn't increase the strength of any of my moves. Is this an intentional change in behavior?

Couldn't find any info on the forums, so I'm posting this myself. So I decided to turn my MC into Crescent as a joke. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the female MC's walk sprites, and thus she just turns into Crescent while running, which is hilarious in its own way, but not what I was looking for. Any info?
