Roserade can be really useful to counter Steel Type Pokemon. Combine Technician with Hidden Power Fire and you should be able to sweep some of them when the weather is sunny. Maybe you already know that, but it's now possible to modify the type of Hidden Power at Agate Circus! I would have gladly recommend you to use Ludicolo to defend yourself against Fire Types, but since your strategy seems to mainly rely on Sunny Day, maybe you could opt for Hidden Power Rock/Ground or Earthquake instead (If you're patient enough to achieve the starter egg quest of course). Sceptile could be a good candidate for moves like these since it's the fastest Grass Pokemon available once mega-evolved and don't need to have Chlorophyll as an ability to outspeed its opponents! If you like taking risks, you can possibly replace Venusaur with Torterra and teach Exeggutor Trick Room, so you can take care of Fire/Steel types Pokemon with Earthquake while dealing with Fairy Types by using Iron Head. I hope this helps PS: During weather conditions, Weather Ball's power doubles from 50 to 100, which is indeed more interesting than HP Fire, but still very situational. Since some field effect will prevent weather and Field Effects from being generated (Wink at you New World Field (╹◡╹)凸), HP Fire remains a flexible option to consider for Roserade.

My heart is really softened by your arts! Blake's tent rocks! I'm not gonna lie. Even though I'm not a fan of his personaIity, he has pretty good taste in terms of haircut! SpoilerIt could be highly possible that Sirius was in Devon Corp during the raid organized by Ame since it's been stipulated in Labradorra that he was the one who tore out the eye of Solaris (or Taka if you chose the Zekrom Route). That makes me wonder if what happened to Arclight could be Sirius' doing too. After all, he suffered the same fate himself as a response from Corey when he killed his wife in the past, so Sirius could well have reproduced this same practice on his new victims, Arclight included.

Hello everyone! I've been a little off these last few weeks and I'm clearly amazed to notice that the community release of Pokemon Reborn is now available! I can't do much but thank all the people involved in this vast and amazing project! It's almost been like 5 years since I discovered this game and its community and I'm proud to be a part of it! However, I admit that I have some difficulty to refrain my creative urge and I don't even know if I'm on the appropriate part of the forum to discuss it but I had something to ask. Since I like to lose myself in everyting that is related to sandbox and customization, I wanted to know if there already were a possibility to add or edit teams for NPCs in the game. It was something I loved to do back in episode 18 by using PBS files and RPG Maker XP, so I wanted to keep up this type of practice while playing the episode 19 of Reborn. The thing is, I realized that there was a change affecting the scripts and the way the code has been organized. It looks like everything now depends on Ruby files stored in the "Scripts" folder and I didn't find the one that covers trainer teams. I just want to know if there will be a possibility in the future to add new trainers with new classes and assign them teams of our personal composition. If so, it would be very appealing and it would strengthen my interest for Reborn even more! Does anybody know how to do it for the moment or is it just impossible and not planned for future updates. Any advice is welcome! Thank you in advance for your replies!

Hey, I just noticed that the community release of Pokemon Reborn episode 19 was available since Saturday! This is great news
I can't wait to give it a try and discover what's new and different by playing it myself, even if there might be some bugs to report here and there!
Amethyst, Andracass and all the others must have done a titanic job! All of you deserve to be praised, because regardless of how the story unfolds, I'll always remember one thing that Ame has written long ago and that is still relevant today: "If you suffered, don't forget that I suffered first!".
Thank you a lot for this, you've brighten the start of my week!

SpoilerThis might be a silly question but will there be a way for players and modders to add custom battles in the future by using PBS files? I've noticed that the game now depends on scripts that are directly implemented in Ruby. Also, will there be PBS files available for the final episode of Pokemon Reborn on the forum shortly after the official release or an indication about how to add or edit trainer teams with the new files in the "Scripts" folder? I had some roleplay ideas in mind, so if I could keep them compatible with the updated version of the game, it would be fantastic!

Even if the final version of the game must take six months or more before to be officially out, I’ll still be waiting, precisely because the developers are putting a lot of energy and passion into their work. Maybe I shouldn’t write this type of thing in this topic, but I once used to invest a lot of time in a Minecraft map which was a personal project of mine. That was part of my hobbies before I join and discover the Reborn community. Sadly, I had severe difficulty to keep up the motivation to achieve my project because I ended up realizing that I was alone in my goals with almost no support, which can make you renounce from dropping further sweat into a work you’re not even paid for, let alone the fact that I had to keep track of all the updates, Minecraft being a game that never stop evolving as time passes. I think the same principle can be applied for Pokemon Reborn and the team behind it. Today, I’m exhausted and I’m currently meditating on a way to get satisfaction and enjoyment by doing something that doesn’t involve emptying my energy supplies too quickly. Ame, Andracass and all the other people who are contributing to the creation of this game clearly deserve to be praised. Patience is a way to show them our gratitude in my opinion. By the way, I can’t do much but take my hat off to them for keeping alive and improving this 10-years-old project even now! Respect for that!

Hello, Reborn folks! How have you been?
It's been quite a while since I didn't share any good news on the forum, so I wanted to share some with you! After 130 hours of gameplay on Emerald Plus, it's finally done! I'm very cheerful of what I did yesterday which was getting every silver symbol in every battle frontier facility!Spoiler
I know it's not a big deal since I didn't get any gold symbol yet, but I'm already very satisfied of it, especially since I didn't use any true "meta" Pokemon in the game and exclusively built my team with Pokemon I love, which can make things harder at times. The only annoyance with Emerald Plus is, I felt a little limited with the Pokemon available in the three first generations, so I did a special mix with Dark Pokemon and other Pokemon I love who are not necessarily Dark-types. The final result was surprisingly effective and it made me love Sableye more than ever! I couldn't believe that I managed to sweep Anabel, Tucker and Brandon teams thanks to this little guy

Honestly, it was a pretty amusing experience, as well as a little bit stressful during some specific fights, and I don't remember making it that far when I first played the end game content of Pokemon Emerald on my Gameboy Advance. If the devs didn't include so many hax strategies, it could have been even more enjoyable in my opinion. In any case, wish me luck for the gold rush

In fact, Emerald Plus is a rom hack. Its goal consists in providing the ultimate enhanced Emerald experience to the player. Although there's no change that affects the main plot or the map, it contains a lot of improvements that the original version lacks such as the availability of all the Pokemon from the first three generations through normal gameplay. For example, some Pokemon that are supposed to evolve via trades can evolve through levelup or friendship instead. There are other quality of life improvements added such as a day-and-night system, the possibility to choose among the starters of the previous generations, reusable TMs, event-locked Pokemon that become available the further the player progresses in the game, EV and IV showers and the list goes on. Given the fact that I'm French and that Emerald Plus is a French rom hack, I couldn't resist to give it a try. Having that said, if I had to mention two similar English rom hacks to compare, these would be Emerald Final and Sigma Emerald. Anyway, I'm very happy of my progress because back in 2006 I could barely do anything after getting two silver symbols (The Luck Symbol in the Battle Pike and the Brave Symbol in the Battle Pyramid). And don't worry for Flannery, I gave her a Fire Stone shortly after writing this post. I just wanted to beat the League as well as enjoying some endgame content with her as a Vulpix because I found her more cute on her unevolved form. But it's ancient story now. Since the beginning of the week, she plays with the big boys as a big girl
PS: The Gold Knowledge Symbol is too damn upsetting to get (The one from the Battle Factory)! Even if you're aware of the IV glitch and you're familiar with the moveset of the Pokemon used by your adversaries, there are so many steps to make without failing and the Murphy's law can be in full effect at every corner in this facility!

By the way, if I got to choose an already existing character to recreate in Reborn, I'd say she could be in a good position to be the next target for my spriting projects since her physical appearence is not that complex to adjust for this type of job technically speaking ^^

This compliment goes straight to my heart, thank you! Also, I'm happy to announce that I'm back with more stuff to show! Earlier this year, I've been contacted by @Rei1lin who asked me for a fully playable avatar of himself in Reborn! It took me a while, but it's finally done in due and proper form! This is the achieved version of a spriteset originally made by someone on fiverr, but the overworld sheets were lacking, so the character was not 100% functional with all the animations and all. Fortunately, I successfully managed to rectify this issue! @Rei1lin, I hope you'll enjoy the final result
