  1. A Frillish huh? Funny you mention that. I wanted to go back and re-experience Reborn and I noted several of these changes. For that egg, I happened to get a Clampearl. Also, for the egg in Crysolia forrest, it used to be 100% Marractus, but I got Cacnea in E17. Did anyone else experience any egg changes (as far as I'm aware, the Obsidia slums egg is still Drowsee/Ducklett and the Mystery egg is unchanged).
  2. @andracass No worries, we all love Reborn here and are all generally weird in our own way. There's no real need for you to post anything if your not comfortable, but if you have any questions about Reborn or anything else, feel free to ask. We're here to help! Alright, back to TES. It's a bit outdated, but if you do get the time, I believe you might enjoy a good play through of Oblivion. (I feel like it showcases the world of The Elder Scrolls better and has more unique quests)
  3. Hiya Cassie! Welcome to the forums of Reborn! Do feel free to stutter out more words and have fun chatting here! I gotta say, you chose the perfect way to start your journey on the forums.... Nah, I'm just teasing you. But on another note, I'm in the same boat as you. Haven't played since gen V, but would love to get USUM. Ultra Sun specifically, because "Praise the sun!" Problem is, I don't have a 3DS, so I'm not really sure if it's worth it. In other news, I'm also a big fan of Skyrim, if your up for some Elder Scrolls chat. So let me end this with a question, have you played Morrowind or Oblivion?
  4. Hiya Moxxey! Welcome to Reborn! Do enjoy your stay! Nice profile pic. Never evolve that Torracat. Its too cute to be an Incineroar.
  5. No worries. Shadowmere is fully immortal and will only be knocked unconscious upon taking normally lethal damage. Also, since there are next to no mountains compared to Skyrim, you don't have to worry about fall damage. She keeps (or previously had technically) the same perks of being the fastest horse in game and is actually strong enough to help in fights. TL;DR: Shadowmere is best horse.
  6. Considering I have several files with 100+ hours in, I should be up to at least 500 hours. My main save has almost 200, and add in a couple extra files where I just spent time testing some things, I'd say I'm at around 600-900 hours.
  7. Oh boy have you got me started on a game I love..... (Shivering Isles DLC is fun) By "barely scraping the actual base game" do you mean you still have to beat the main questline? If so, I do recommend that. You get some cool quests and get to see a certain deity beat the.crap out of another superpowered being. The prophecies aren't going to fulfill themselves you know! If you have completed the main questline, I recommend doing the Dark Brotherhood quests first. It seems like you already got that started a bit, and not that the Mage's Guild questline isn't good, but the Brotherhood's is just more fun. You get to be the agent of untimely demise for more than a few people, piss off some guards by stealing an ever percious artifact, befriend an immortal horse demon creature, lots of fun! Also, I do recommend going through the Arena in the Imperial City. It's quite a bit of fun. Be warned though, you will be introduced to one of the most (laughably) annoying NPCs you will meet. There are also quite a few side quests that are fun. You can find a number of them simply by traveling off the beaten path and exploring some old structures, or just by talking to NPCs around you. One of my favorites was going through Hackdirt south of Chorril. So whatever you choose, happy hunting!
  8. Howdy Ceri! Welcome to the forums of Reborn! Ummm.... the small text makes me think that your whispering the words so when you put exclamation marks I can't help but feel that your text is having an identity crisis. Nevertheless, do enjoy your stay here and have fun with the new episode.
  9. Hiya Starli! Welcome to the forums of Reborn! Might I recommend a good Psychic type? Meowstic is great! (at least until I get access to Gardevoir) You mean the one that evolves into the legendary Staraptor?!
  10. Howdy Fimme! Welcome to Reborn! Do enjoy your stay!
  11. JUST A SOCIAL EXPERIMENT HUH?! I've been waiting for this question whole life. Even now, I lay here, wondering if I'm ready for what's to come. Anyway, tallyho! If I say yes does that make me weird The real question is how you would deal with the cross-racial divide here, as you are in fact committing your life to a pokemon. I second @FairFamily here. While Gardevoir is very adept in understanding human emotions, it's never stated if it can actually learn and speak English, let alone understand complex thought. So that would definitely be a big real-life issue. While a big hurdle to face, I would still say that the benefits of having both a devoted and partner outweigh the negatives. Also, I want the 100K.
  12. Hiya! Welcome to Reborn! Do enjoy your stay! (and the brand new episode of Pokemon Reborn)
  13. Yes! At long last the stars have aligned and the universe has become whole! (except E18 should come after) Anyways, thank you Ame and devs for bringing us this glorious gift! You're all awesome! EDIT: I see what you did there Ame, Budew is not a bug, but the best grass type there is.
  14. Howdy Endless! Welcome to Reborn! Seems like you've already been around for a bit, but all the more reason for a warm welcome. Do enjoy your stay!
  15. @CandyOh-my-lanta! Can I insert a soundbit? It has the greatest cry of all time! But Krickitune is just your average bug pokemon that suffers from GameFreak-hates-bug-pokemon-syndrome. Its nothing special, but I always found it as a reliable member of my team. Especially so in Reborn considering you have access to Kricketot before Julia. And if nothing else, I atleast get a giggle from listening to it.
  16. Pfft. Why give an already good 'mon a mega when you can give THE GREATEST BUG 'MON OF ALL TIME a mega. (btw love the Mega Masquerain) MEGA KRICKETUNE Ability: Adaptability HP: 77 --> 77 (+0) Attack: 85 --> 140 (+55) Defense: 51 --> 51(+0) Sp. Attack: 55 --> 30 (-25) Sp. Defense: 51 --> 51 (+0) Speed: 65 --> 135 (+70) BST: 384 --> 484 (+100) @Candy I'd totally love to make a bunch of these. It's pretty fun.
  17. I'd say add Gardevoir and replace Jynx with a good flying type like Crobat or Noivern, but if your hellbent on keeping Jynx on your team I second Artifice in saying add Mimikyu when E17 comes out. For the time being I'd say just go with Crobat/Noivern.
  18. Crap, I completely forgot about them. Do I get a second vote? I think the concept of magic and magical spells is awesome. Cuz dragons too stronk. As for why fairy, I always imagined the fairy type as the young and innocent type. Hence it being weak to poison/steel (sharp objects and toxins being 2 potential dangers to young children), its strength to dark as kids are more innocent and less likely to do bad, and its strength to fighting/dragon would be because violence against children is generally seen as bad. The real mystery is why does fire resist fairy. @Wolfox@SilverHelio If were talking about retro games, I'm pretty sure that Samus Aran is the only one that can regularly kill a dragon. Dracula was probably the hardest boss for me in almost any game.
  19. Ooooh mythology is fun. I think dragons are pretty badass. I think its cool that they're depicted in so many ways. Some are depicted as gods, and others as magical beasts that can kill anything. I also think vampires are pretty cool. Cuz, you know, immortality and vampire powers. Hard for me to say which I like better. Or you could say Castlevania's Dracula. He's both a vampire and a dragon! @Alistair lol. I get it though. They're like sexy vampires! @Mocama_cama@ProtoAlpha I love Norse mythology! My favorite beast would have to be Niohoggr.
  20. For me, I'd have to say Ciel was the toughest. The problem I had was with Acrobatics and Earthquake. I think my problem was mostly my terrible luck with the field. Most of her 'mon would spam Acrobatics or EQed my team to oblivion. I tried at least a dozen times with different strategies. I realized that my team just sucked at the time so I tried training up a Rypherior from a Rhyhorn off of Route 2. When I finally got through her first 5 pokemon, suprise! EQ! Mega-Altaria's here! So, after some stress reducing exercises and a couple more tries, I finally got it. After an arduous battle of taking out her 'mon 1 by 1 immediately followed by a revenge kill from her, the gods decided to show mercy and told her AI to have Altaria use sing. It missed, and then Gardevoir earned its spot as the MVP of the playthrough with a Moonblast to decide the fate of the universe. As for the easiest, probably Sampson. Only needed Acro Crobat and Mamoswine to take him out. I'd say Terra but the only reason I beat her with 1 'mon was from BS luck rather than actual strategy.
  21. Hmm how'd I miss this one? Howdy Amphibi! A most sincere welcome to the forums of Reborn! Do enjoy your stay! I'd love to add Alolan Ninetails or Mimikyu to my team. Gen VII has some good fairys. Although you didn't add the 2 bug 'mon I want to use: Ribombee and Golisopod. @Wolfox Yes! Let us rejoice in our hatred for another Water/Poison remake! I feel like giving it Merciless as an ability was just GameFreak saying f u to anyone who uses it.
  22. But you can't chicken out. You're a penguin. Hiya! Welcome to the forums of Reborn! Do enjoy your stay! And Piplup is the cutest looking starter in my opinion so your already cool.
  23. Orchynx. Its the most effective of the 3. Raptorch and its evo boast a 4x weakness to water, one of the most common types, and while Eletux and its evo aren't necessarily bad, there are a lot of viable water types in Pokemon Uranium. Orchynx and evo are the only grass types I'd use due to the excellent Grass/Steel typing and therefore my pick. Also, who doesn't like the cute lil kitty?
  24. I wouldn't say the Pokemon Essentials default music is bad, it simply gets the job done. Take Pokemon Insurgence for example. (While I do have certain gripes with it) It conveys a story and provides a fun game to play just using the bare basics of the Pokemon Essentials music. However, I find music quite important in building a mood or setting a scene. Music adds emotion and life to a situation and a flair that can make any scenario much more significant. A big reason why I love Pokemon Reborn is because of the use of music. The beats of the various wards really gives off a depressing feel of a city plagued with crime. While I wouldn't call it a priority, I definitely feel that, when backed by a good story, music can play a huge role and is an important factor to a game.
