  1. A warm welcome to you Corso! Hang your metaphorical hat and coat on the hanger and enjoy your stay! Nonsense! I'm always into idle chit chatter, whomever it may be. In fact, your indecisiveness kinda sounds a lot like myself! Nevertheless, no need to feel shy here. btw love Italian food, Physics is awesome, and nice intro
  2. I have to say I've been there, and can really sympathize with what your saying... Its difficult to go and talk to others, even old friends, when you feel left out like that. The best advice I can give is to try and talk about certain things you experience with others. If a new movie is coming out soon, try "that looks great, I really want to go see it. How 'bout you?" If you want to chime in on a conversation, try providing some feedback (or maybe a joke). If they push you back out of the conversation, the only advice I can really give is to just just try someone else. Just know that talking with others isn't just some innate ability that everyone was born with but you. Many people find it difficult to talk to others with whom they have had little experience with. And keep in mind that you always bring a unique perspective to the table. I'm sure many people out there would appreciate your input. So keep in mind that your not the only one that feels that way, and keep a positive outlook. Best of luck to you!
  3. Howdy ho fellow comrade! Welcome to the forums of Reborn! If your curious about downloading the newest patch of Pokemon Reborn, that is under downloads in Pokemon Reborn. If you want to know how far the next update is in development, that would be under Development Blog under the same tab. If you would like to delve into the other popular fan game known as Pokemon Rejuvenation, that would be under Pokemon Rejuvenation under Other Games. So take your time, explore the forums at your leisure, have fun, and if you have any other concerns/questions/thoughts, feel free to post them among the various facets of the forum. Do enjoy your stay and see ya 'round!
  4. I suppose I'll finish my main run first and then try starting a new one. As I often I find myself rushing through a game in an attempt to progress the story, and often skip many subtle details, I think a new run could be a refreshing experience, this time actually taking my time to appreciate the whole world of reborn. That being said, I still want to play through several other fangames, so I'll probably complete my run of reborn on the release of E17, play through rejuvenation and any others (at least as far as I can), and come back to re-experience the world of reborn. P.S. Ame, don't listen to Rainlove, I wanna be crying at the end of this story
  5. The Star Tarot! The shiniest and most divine of all Tarot Cards! A rowdy howdy to you Starcana and a warmhearted welcome to the realm of Reborn! I must say you do have great tastes, in both games and literature (mystery and fantasy have always peaked my interests). So from a humble knight of the forums, have fun chatting with the fine people of this forum and do enjoy your stay! See ya 'round!
  6. Ahh. The age old question. What is your favourite? I find it quite difficult to simply say 'x' is my favourite for many things, as often I find it the case that there are many things that I like, and each one with a different aspect I find most appealing in it. I find this the case extremely so for Pokemon, for out of 802 pokemon (up to gen 7), can you really say "This pokemon is the best and I like everything about it more than all other 801 pokemon?" I certainly can't. But if we are going to delve into most appreciated pokemon, I suppose one from each gen shall suffice Gen 1. - Dragonite. Need I say more? Gen 2. - Shuckle. You don't fuck with the shucks. Gen 3. - Gardevoir. Such an elegant looking pokemon. I adore it. Gen 4 - Lucario - I don't know. When I first saw Lucario (I think it was from that Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game I picked up at that second hand shop), I always had an affinity for the little furry canine creature. And when I hatched that riolu in Diamond, I simply adored it. Its moveset, its design, the fact that I wrecked people in Smash as Lucario, its just a great mon. Gen 5 - Can't say I have a whole lot of adoration for the pokemon of gen 5. They just don't feel as vibrant as pokemon from the other gens. Although if I were to choose, I'd go with Excadrill. Finally Gurren Lagann has a suitable mascot. Gen 6 - Aegislash. The other star of my avatar. Plus I love the fact that it can change forms with its moves. And who doesn't like the good ol' medieval sword and shield? Gen 7 - Ribombee. LOOK AT ME AND TELL ME THAT IS NOT THE CUTEST LOOKING POKEMON IN EXISTENCE And of course the the honorable mentions that didn't make the list for one reason or another: Squirtle Charizard Pidgeot Arcanine Mewtwo Quagsire Ampharos Swampert Aggron Flygon Milotic Kecleon Rayquaza Empoleon Kricketune Luxray Roserade Buizel Gliscor Gallade Probopass Darkrai Lord Snek (I mean Serperior) Scrafty Cofagrigus Ferrothorn Elektross Volcarona Talonflame Flabébé Skidoo Meowstic Dedenne Pumpkaboo Goodra Decidueye Toucannon Wishiwashi Charjabug Rockruff Salazzle Cosmog Buzzwole
  7. @SilverHelio Salutations good sir! I must say I am much more in favor of the graceful swordplay than the brutish slicing and dicing such barbarians partake in, but thanks for your blessings. If Dragonite had a mega evolution, what would his mega stone be called? :3 A good question! The redundancy of having a mega stone called Dragoniteite is rather silly, but I feel like simply removing the 'e' and having the stone called Dragonitite a more than suitable fix. Pronounced Drag-uhn-i-tahyt. It certainly would be a better sounding name than Abomanite or Banettite.
  8. Howdy! Well as someone here who is currently in college, going through classes wondering what the hell am I doing with my life, I do have to say, explore your options! I'm currently three years in, and when I first came out here, I had no clue was I wanted to accomplish with my life. I still kinda don't! But at that time, I felt like I really could get into Biological Sciences. And so there I started. First with a major in generic undecided Biology (basically just a way my college does things cuz Biology majors have similar pre-reqs). Next I decided, "You know what, ocean life is pretty cool. Lets try that!" Turns out I couldn't give a rats ass about dedicating my life to studying an animal. So then I tried Molecular Biology cuz chemistry is awesome! Guess what? Although I do like Genetics, I'd sooner drop dead than find myself taking a job doing lab work. Right now, it's hard to say. Maybe I should go into Genetics, maybe it's time to drop Biology and try Physics. Something cool like that. Point is, your not just gonna pick a field and have it be the one (well you might, that certainly wasn't how it was for me). Just explore your options, go for what you think is cool, and if it winds up you don't like it, then it's time to try something else. If you don't know what to do talk to someone. I hear many Universities have some sort of career counseling if that helps. So do your thing and have fun!
  9. Wow.... that's one of the most interesting topics I've heard of when it comes to Pokemon. However, I can't say that I agree with your ideas, as Pokemon is a game about capturing powerful beasts that you befriend and train in order to overcome various challenges and "become the very best, like no one ever was." I feel relying on such uncouth methods in order to win simply goes against the very foundation that Pokemon is built on. That being said, I do see the merit of items such as your bucket, being able to directly influence the field, much like the use of items to directly influence your pokemon's stats (which in my mind could be greatly improved upon) is a very resourceful and unique idea. As long as such items are kept in balance with the rest of the game (such as temporary effects that can also be taken advantage of by your opponent), I feel it could make an excellent addition to the future of Pokemon gaming. Finally (and I'm just ranting at this point), in the theme of a more active protagonist, what if there were instances in which you were able to use some of these items (and in turn, your pokemon's moves) to directly affect the world and the story you experience? There are several instances in which your allies (mainly looking at you Titania, that Aegislash is pretty badass), your enemies (Team Meteor), and even yourself in that one puzzle with the teleporting pokemon, were able to manipulate the world outside of a pokemon battle. What I am saying is, what if there were objects lying around (much like the trees, rocks, and boulders that require hm's) that can you can interact with and affect your story progress? These occurrences, whether you utilize them or not, could alter several key concepts of the story and would bring a more interesting and immersive feel as you progress. Now I do understand some limitations need to be put in place (simply murdering everyone outright isn't very nice), but I always felt it would be cool to have my Blaziken bust a hole out of a cell, or my Pidgeot swoop down to get something or someone. I'd prefer if such instances didn't require hm's (mainly because I'm not much of a fan of hm's in the first place), but they would occur very similarly and I think would be awesome to have in the future.
  10. Ahh!! More friends! 'Tis a pleasure to meet all of you! @Doug Dimmadome @Yagami Thank you good sirs! Your words do bring me much joy. I chose my avatar (as well as my name) as a homage to two of my favourite pokemon, Dragonite and Aegislash (and also the pun from Dragonite to Dragoknight). @Jace StormkirkGreetings fellow bard Stormkirk! I myself will be visiting the forums from time to time and doing other knightly things. Perhaps I will join you to the Onyx arcade and we can share stories sometime! @BrakkGreetings comrade! Thank you for your words! For the shield forme of Aegislash is the finest of all defenses, and the blade forme the truest of weapons!
  11. A most gracious thank you to all for such a warm welcome. @Titania *kneels* Ahh, another who understands the finer aspects of civil discourse. And one of royal stature such as yourself! I do have to admit that your response gave me a hearty chuckle. Nice to meet ya!
  12. Greetings comrades! It is I, the illustrious and ever-imposing Lord Dragoknight! (it’s mostly a self-proclaimed title). I’m actually just some lazy guy, brought here on the winds of incessant boredom and a lust for a good time. I’m a longtime fan of Pokemon, since the beginning, but dropped it after starting college mainly due to a lack of time and money. Sometime after, I stumbled upon Pokemon Uranium (btw great game if you haven’t tried it yet) and in an effort to revitalize my long time love for the franchise, I began to look for fan-made Pokemon games to play on my pc in my spare time. I then discovered the masterpiece known as Pokemon Reborn and fell in love with the alluring charm of Pokemon all over again. And so I give you my grand debut into the forums of Reborn. ……well I’ve been lurking around the forums for some time since starting my journey in the early days of episode 16 but never really made an account. So here I am. Howdy. There’s not a whole lot to talk about myself…. I’m currently in college, I spend most of my time either perusing the internet or playing videogames; I’m a fan of The Elder Scrolls, Dark Souls, and other action RPGs. I somehow manage to excel at math, chemistry and physics while putting in minimal effort (not much a fan of the social sciences); I love puzzles; I’m a fan of many different kinds of music (I don’t play any instrument but would like to pick one up after college); I’m a bit of a weeb; and I like making elaborate and extravagant ordeals out of many mundane occurrences. So that’s about it. I look forward to seeing the finale of Pokemon Reborn (althouth a bit sad its ending) and popping up every now and again to discuss the finer aspects of Pokemon, gaming in general, the philosophical paradox that is the universe, or whatever topic suits your fancy. And that’s me. *bows* Nice to meet everyone.
