  1. You have a point there (personally I'm more on the fence with whether knocking Levitate is good or not). Given the whole power creep over the past generations, Gengar's ability to function as it does is somewhat being threatened. I'm not saying Levitate is OP on Gengar, and there are pokemon with better abilities that should or should not be nerfed depending upon how you look at it (I completely agree that Technician Breloom is just a bit too stronk), I just don't really like how Gengar could abuse a free switch in and hit back fast and hard. (Bias; I'm not a huge Gengar fan) Maybe if it got Magic Guard instead of Cursed Body so it could at least function as a solid special sweeper similar to Alakazam, then it might be better. PS: At least we can all agree Mega Gengar is broken.
  2. Cuz I don't liek Treekoz Real talk tho, now that best starter body builder Swampert is out, all hell shall break lose. You have opened up the floodgates, now be ready for the storm!
  3. @NickCrash I actually want Ame to kill more people off Nice catch! Wouldn't of caught that one. A-Sandslash: 38 A-Ninetales: 18

  7. @Azeria @Jess Um.. if I can interject here (and reiterate some of the earlier points), the main reason Gengar is as effective as it was in the first 6 Gens was because of it being really fast and hitting even harder, allowing it to function as an excellent late game sweeper. In addition, Gengar's movepool allowed it to cover a large portion of the meta it faced for neutral, which usually is enough for it to take the kill upon damage from entry hazards. That doesn't mean it was perfect or broken, Gengar had counters in the form of faster 'mon (as rare as that is), priortiy users that can take advantage of Gengar's frailness, pursuit trappers (the bane of all Ghost types), and bulky 'mon that could survive a hit and dish out even more damage back. So, in all honesty, Levitate wasn't an amazing of an ability for Gengar. Effective, yes. But it's not like Gengar actually got a whole lot of use out of it's ability aside from a free switch in. Granted, I think it is more balanced now that Gengar has Cursed Body, since this opens up a weakness in a 'mon that already is a powerhouse. And as for it's mega, fuck Shadow Tag. 9. So... this went from a small questionnaire to a critical analysis of my life experiences. Do you plan on hunting me down and then replacing me with a clone? Oh, its just played this time? Guess I'll click 'em all! (That's all of the main games and several of the side games)
  10. Divin' right in, baby! Well, I suppose if a tutorial is short and sweet (and introduces the new mechanic in an interesting and fun way), then I suppose a tutorial would be beneficial. Kinda like a combat tutorial for a certain blocking method or combo, as long as it isn't too repetitive. But most of the time, I like figuring things out on my own rather than being told outright to do this. Granted the complexity of a task is also an important factor, so for something along the lines of doing a sequence of events that you would never guess otherwise, give me a tutorial. If not, then get out of my may. (I'm also the kind of person that explores many options, enjoys finding unique ways to accomplish certain tasks and likes to test the game's limits so......)
  11. From your team (which btw great job at representing the less commonly used 'mon, no kidding, it actually looks like a really effective team), I would change 2 things. 1. Swap Golem for Swampert. Golem isn't that great offensively while Swampert and has more well rounded defenses and a much better typing. Plus it fills the water type requirement and a mega when that stone comes around. Something like: Swampert @Water Plate/Ground Plate Jolly Nature Waterfall (where you are at Surf will do until you get it) EQ Hammer Arm Stealth Rock (until you have access to the move tutor Toxic should do) EDIT: Just realized you don't get Mudkip 'til late game, so keep Golem for now. You don't need Greninja on your team. 2. I'd give Roserade Technician. And then make 2 moveset changes to compliment. Swap Giga Drain for Magic Leaf. Roserade isn't really the bulkiest and should get enough heal to survive with Black Sludge. Swap Toxic Spikes for HP Fire/Ice. I find Toxic to be better in most situations, but if you're running Toxic on Swampert, you could get away with Toxic Spikes. And finally, come late game you could always swap that Wobbuffet of yours for a Gallade.

  17. @Mr. Finn Oh, hey Hooligan. Completely missed the welcome back status post so.... welcome back! although I'm over a week late Now, it wouldn't be very fitting to have Gardevoir GIF's if we didn't include the whole family.... Here's some extra of Gardevoir I found Here's some of Gallade The little one Kirlia And we can't forget Ralts now (guest starring Max)
  18. Wow.... that's a really balanced team you have there. Impressive. Just a few problems. 1. For your Garchomp, I believe you mean Sand Veil. Garchomp does not have access to Sand Rush (if so it would be extremely broken). If you do mean Sand Veil, then swap it for Rough Skin. It is just objectively the better ability. 2. Your team is very Physical oriented. Which means it's quite possible for you to be walled in some scenarios. Hard. I recommend swapping Mimikyu for Gardevoir. It is an excellent wallbreaker with Choice Specs. Even without Choice Specs Garde hits pretty hard. So, something like this: Gardevoir @Trace Timid Nature Psychic Moonblast Calm Mind Healing Wish/Will-o-wisp 3. You're gonna want to put Stealth Rock on that Garchomp of yours. I recomend swapping Iron Head for it. You don't really need it to kill fairys. You can swap out to Crobat or Lucario for that. 4. You need some water coverage. Right now the 'mon with the only move that beats water is also weak to water... The way I see it, you best options are: -Rotom-Wash in place of Feraligater -Magnezone in place of Lucario Good luck with the team building!
  19. I have searched high and low for these GIF's. A quest greater than that of the search for Holy Grail. I present to you..... the last of the Pikabuse. And now that our journey is done here, we must pass the torch on to The Golden Child..... WOOPER!!!!!!!!
  20. I third Crobat. Swap Noctowl for it. It is simply so useful, I highly recommend it. Extremely fast and it hits quite hard. You can find Zubat in the caves in the Wastes. I also recommend swapping Garbador for a good Psychic type such as Meowstic. You can find Espurr in the Lapis Ward alleys. Also, a good steel type would work wonders. I'd recommend Magneton for your team (maybe swap with Granbull until you get access to a good fairy like Clefable). You can find some Magnemite in Shade's gym (you probably encountered a bunch when you got Yamask).
  21. 3 new friends in one day? It's a miracle! Howdy there Kung Fu Ferret! Leave your metaphorical hat and coat and enjoy your stay here!
