  1. Gavan had been busy doing what he did best. Moving about unnoticed and scouting, both ahead and behind. Catching up with the group after one of his backward sweeps, he glanced around and then casually commented as he unstrung his bow, "They really aren't following us, it seems. Guess little pawns like us aren't important enough to bother with in whatever its plans are. Can't say I'm complaining too much though." He didn't see Lyla or her brother, so he gave a shrug and walked over to the other swordswoman of the group, figuring he better get to know some of the others he would be stuck with for the foreseeable future. "I'm Gavan. What was your name again? Also, is that your sister over there? Looks like she made a new friend. Or he's bothering her, one of the two. Hard to tell sometimes, you know?"
  2. Winston to N12 Elizabeth to M7, heal Shiro
  3. P9, rescue Leslie, wait for a performance
  4. Quietly muttering nope to himself, Gavan flees further into the trees. H1
  5. Bradwr stabs the spearman in front of them, then canto into their spot
  6. "Escort you, huh? Fair enough, I want to stop them from tearing more people's lives apart if I can help it. Everyone, we have someone else coming with us." Bradwr rescue Johan and move to X-8
  7. Bradwr decided it was probably best to stop wasting breath on the crazy mountain man and instead addressed the other sensible person in the group. "The harbor sounds like a smart plan. Something we can use to get out of here as quickly as possible. Though we may want to take out any ships that we can't take to prevent them from falling into enemy hands and keep them from following us."
  8. Bradwr sneered at the mountain man. "I didn't say they were invincible. But they outnumber us and the rest of their army is coming. You all can die if you want. But I have reason to live and throwing my life away at some of the pawns in this game won't help me achieve those. I need to make it out of this town alive and if that means a fighting retreat, then that's what I'll do. I'm not here to rescue this town or even this country. So go hide in your mountain and fight them there, or have your brave final stand in this village. Or work with me to get out of here alive. It makes no difference to me in the end."
  9. Bradwr rolled their eyes as yet another one of the group started speaking up about how weak the Pax were and how easy this would all be. "You too now? You don't understand the Pax at all, do you? They aren't some weak mob to be killed easily. They're a trained military nation. And they're not afraid to kill anyone who gets in their way right now. Or do you not know any of the rumors circling about the old king? His death was no accident or natural cause. That much I can promise you."
  10. Bradwr stared out of the window of the inn, fingers drumming an anxious beat on the table. They weren't happy about this whole situation. The closing troops were a bad sign and the girl yelling about random things was just as annoying. Finally, they slapped the table and turned towards her. "You are being far from helpful here I hope you realize. This isn't a good thing. Unless you like being killed by an army with no regrets on their part? No? Then stay quiet while others figure out a way to get out."
  11. Staring at the scene before them, Gavan shook his head. "Nope. Time to go. Getting out of here right now." I-2
